Our food was refunded without warning while the kitchen was open so we did without dinner. The chef was very rude when I raised this and just said he was too busy. Appalling service. They need to change their system.

Food was ok but won’t be in a rush to visit again. Tried a jerk chicken box with rice, slaw and plantain which was ok but smothered too much in an overly sweet sauce that overpowered the chicken. Mac n cheese was not good at all, not cheesy and way too watery.

If you find yourself in the busy, vibey Produce Hall in Stockport, you have to try out Mamma G’s street food. The pepper Steak is a tasty dish. Big strips of steak, peppers and onions in a Caribbean pepper sauce, on a bed of rice and peas with pink slaw. Yum, now my tummy is full and ready for a night out!

Mamma G's is a must visit spot for anyone looking for authentic Carribbean flavours. The improved recipe of their curry goat is incredible, offering a true taste of the Islands. With generous portions, great taste and a vibrant atmosphere this is a highly recommended place!

Genuinely some of the best food I’ve ever tasted. I had the Curry Goat and - for my first time EVER trying goat - I was amazed and savoured every last bite. The chefs were very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was lively yet relaxed. This kitchen is a must for a day out in Stockport and I will be visiting again very soon!

Ordered 2 jerk wraps with lemon & pepper fries. Which were well seasoned, paired beautifully with the mango & papaya dip! 10/10 for service and quality, couldn't fault it. Will be returning. Thank you😊

Got the vegan jackfruit wrap and was completely disappointed 😢 jackfruit was just plain cooked in water? mainly salad, no flavor, seasoning, dressing, nothing. Wouldn’t order again, unfortunately.

Carribbean within the Produce Hall. Saltfish 'boom box' felt overpriced at £19. Plantain was great. Salads passable and fish tasty - but not enough of it (too much rice, too little taste).

The Produce Hall is well worth a visit for food, some much choice, Caribbean, Asian, Greek, Spanish and more. Lovely atmosphere and in a lovely part of Stockport

We came to Mamma G’s because we were hungry and didn’t know what we wanted until we saw this company online. WOW!! my girlfriends family is from the caribbean and we know how we like our food! this curried goat and dumplings were unreal and so so affordable!! we will definitely be returning

I went to eat at Mamma G on a busy Saturday, but their staff was still very kind and took the time to guide me through their menu, as it's very varied. I ended up getting their chicken wrap, which was both a very tasty and filling portion. Especially recommended their lemon and herbs chips. I often go for Caribbean food and Mamma G simply knocks it out of the park, 5 stars all around.

I don’t know what I’ve got but I ordered brown stew chicken. Not even sure what I’ve been given. Take like it’s got Worcestershire sauce on it’s tangy and isn’t like authentic brown stew. And I’ve had it from many of places 30 pound for 2 dinners and won’t be eating neither. I can’t tell which is the jerk and which is brown stew

I went on a busy Saturday night, I was struggling to chose as there were a few good options but I took a risk with Mamma G's and it was worth it. I'm not usually a fan of Caribbean food but this was excellent, I've been to alot of food Hall place's and you usually don't get enough for what you pay but this was different. It was well presented, the sauce was great and had a extremely delicious flavour.

Amazing food. Best Jamaican around. Usually, everywhere else, you wait ages for food. Not here. Lovely staff and people.

Disappointed ☹️ food looked amazing the presentation was fab, but the curry themselves goat and chicken tasted as if they had not been cooked off long enough. As if the spices had not settled in and were grainy in your mouth. The goat I got 3 small pieces. The lemon pepper fries were seriously over seasoned. However the cabbage , mango salad and dumplings were fantastic. Just a shame the main features (curry’s) seemed thrown together. As someone who eats a lot of Caribbean through friends ect I was gutted

I eat in several restaurants a week all over the UK and these have by far the best ribs I've ever eaten. The flavour coming through the goat curry was unbelievable and the staff were lovely. So glad I've got time friday afternoon to go again before I set off down south. Thanks Sean

Excellent jerk chicken, hot sauce, goat gravy, jerk halloumi sandwich and a beef patty. We'll definitely come back here.

Ordered small plates fried chicken and curry goat, jerk chicken wrap with chilli bbq fries, and a rum punch. Everything was really tasty. Fried chicken flavorful and juicy, curry goat nicely cooked and spiced, jerk chicken got a decent bbq flavor. Run punch was also really tasty. Will highly recommend and will definitely eat there again! Thanks!

I cannot shout about this place enough. The food is outstanding. Fresh, great size portion and the taste is the best I've ever had. Great price. I would eat here everyday if I could. The jerk chicken is banging and the curry goat is fabulous. Dumplings are always fresh and plenty of them, the gravy is a definite must with them.

We had the goat curry, veg pattie, fried chicken with goat pan gravy, jerk pork belly and the sweet potato fries. Everything tasted amazing...will be heading back to try the rack of ribs next time they're on the specials board

We had some amazing food here earlier, usually I order a jerk chicken wrap but today we had fried chicken, dumplings, goat gravy and some slaw. It was absolutely fantastic - the gravy made me want to go back for the curry goat. The lemon pepper fries are always great too!

Mama g's rum punch... Oh my god... Simply delicious, top quality rum, top quality staff and if I could throw rose petals at Terry's feet I would, he's a lovely dumpling!! Also you must try the goat curry, blew my mind! Delicious!
