Food was ok but charged £2 for ordinary mozzarella on a vegetable pizza described as vegan - surely they have that right there for all the other pizzas!

So lovely got there late they were closing so couldn’t ordered but they offered us pizza for free, just made my day such angels!

Fantastic meal once again at Mamma dough, our favourite spot to grab a pizza whether it's to eat in or takeaway to hilly fields and eat in the sunshine, Luigi and Victoria were absolute stars and made sure we had a wonderful time

A must for all food lovers cannot fault this place .Extremely enjoyable, a big thank you to all the staff on duty on Bank Holiday Monday.

Really great gluten free pizza, very fast service :)

We popped in for a bit of a treat and were quite disappointed. The manager seemed to prefer chatting to the kitchen staff to serving, he confused us completely with our drinks order, and then the food arrived wrong. Luckily our waitress flagged it and sent it back to the kitchen, but I ended up with a cold, almost burnt pizza. It's so easy to get great pizza these days, I can't imagine we'll bother to pop in again.

The service was wonderful. Our waiter was so attentive and accommodating. The only thing that should be improved downstairs is air-conditioning.

We had a birthday meal here for 20 people and the staff were just incredible throughout. We all had a great time, pizza was delicious, and it was somehow only £35 a head! Honestly couldn’t be happier, good on you all 🫡

It's just so painfully average. The pizza is fine. If you are in the area and have nowhere else to do, you will be fed and it will be a reasonable evening.

We love this place so much that we visit at least once a week! Luigi, the manager, is fantastic and looks after us so well. He made fathers day this year particularly special. Thank you for brightening our weeks with the delicious pizza and great atmosphere.

Ladywell, that part of Lewisham (YES, IT IS IN LEWISHAM, FOR THE HATERS) that seems to have slipped by and just got on with it however, amongst the usual TAT rises a diamond, Mamma Doughs Pizza or Mamma D’s as we call it at home. Nothing special or outstanding, no Michelin stars or celebrity chefs, just good honest high quality family food with a standard of service that will embarrasses other restaurants. This is my opinion and it may not agree with others but that’s life. Try them, you may be pleasantly surprised.

It's a while since I've had a pizza from this restaurant. We ordered a takeaway tonight. The staff are very friendly and helpful but I have to report we both found the pizza extremely salty. I don't remember it being like this before. We won't order again.

Luigi made me feel home, what a service! Definitely recommend if you want some proper italian food!

We celebrated my daughter’s 12th birthday and there were 16 of us in total. We had our own table & room downstairs with easy access to the bathroom. Luigi and the team were nothing short of amazing when it came to the service. They were warm, friendly and so accommodating they made us all feel at ease. They even kept her cake in the kitchen and brought it out and sang happy birthday to her. And the pizzas were absolutely delicious. Can’t recommend them enough and what a joy to have such a stunning restaurant in our local community. Loved that we could simply walk home afterwards rather than have to venture out to have a decent meal.

We had booked a table for Mother’s Day. On arriving a lady let us know the system was down and it had only booked us for an hour slot. We was 10 minutes late & she said we’d need to be gone within 50 minutes. I looked around and the restaurant was empty apart from 1 table. As I booked it a week ago someone should have called to say the system was down and it had only gone through as an hours booking. She just looked blank. No apology or resolution. We left and went to Franco manca in Dulwich. It is a pity as been multiple times and always had good service.

We had a takeaway ham & pineapple pizza with a Gluten-Free base one evening last week. Very quick, friendly service. The pizza was a good size, with lovely ham but could have done with a bit more of the toppings. I got a drink for my daughter too, which was overpriced. Totalled over £18. It seems a lot to me but maybe that's the going rate in Ladywell these days.

I booked a table for dinner. We’ve driven 30 minutes to get there. When we showed up couple minutes before our booking they didn’t have a table. Instead we were offered a table outside - end of October in the rain.

I usually never do this - but I am appalled by the behaviour of staff let alone the quality of the food. This restaurant is advertised on Deliveroo as halal. If you’re Muslim you might know that several restaurants on Deliveroo that cater for halal will describe their meat as “bacon or ham” however the meat is made of beef or Turkey. I proceeded to order from here thinking that this was just another one of those instances. Nevertheless, it turns out that they are not halal at all but are still advertising as much. When I called to follow this up, I was berated by the employee who told me I should have read the ingredients. Not only does this speak directly to my religious values, but basic human curtsy. Horrific experience.

I dunno why but it was unbelievably salty, the guy with face tattoos who was serving was extremely nice and accommodating. That guy needs a raise asap!

Consistently excellent pizza at Mama Dough and an ever changing specials board. Service is always excellent. It really is up there with some of the best pizzas you can get anywhere. Plenty of veggie options. And it’s dog and kid friendly too.

Been wanting to try this pizza place for a while and I’m glad we came today as it wasn’t busy so we got to enjoy the calmness! The pizzas were sooo good - I got the New Yorker and my boyfriend got the green life - both were full of flavour and cooked well! Sometimes I find that sourdough pizzas can be quite sloppy and undercooked but that wasn’t the case here! The waitresses were also super lovely and friendly ! Deffo coming back Xx

Absolutely lovely pizza. Thin charred crust, tasty fillings and a good balance between them. Charming staff. I even ate all my pizza base, which hasn't happened for a long time (I had the Blue Art with artichokes and blue cheese). Really delicious

This place is very hit and miss. Sometimes they deliver great tasting pizza and the dough is perfect, however on more occasions its burnt and crazy greasy/sloppy. Took a chance on them again recently but sadly was burnt again, completely black underneath. Wont be returning

they do not put condiments on their pizzas!!! there is barely anything there...this is the Swine I just bought at Mamma Dough in Ladywell, I am very disappointed as this is not the way to make a pizza that costs £13

I got the margarita and paid extra for extra for extra mozzarella. Even though I paid extra there was hardly any cheese. Not much cheese or sauce, dry, very dissatisfied.

Just went today to get a pizza ,and when I checked the box I realise that there was tiny little slice missing from my pizza ,probably the chef or manager eat it ,so I come Back to ask about it and they have made another one ,so the manager cut my pizza and still something from there was missing,taking me for a stupid … I never do complain if not contrusctive ..the pizza is good overall ,they don’t put extra Parmesan that I paid , won’t suggest anyone to eat a pizza after someone touch it a lot before you ..

Popped in for a late night feed. Food and service was 10/10. Lights were a bit bright though, drop the intensity a bit and the vibe would be perfect.

We come here quite often for a meal and a chat. Good for a reasonable pizza in Ladywell. The pizza and side salad is filling , washed down with a can of craft ale.

Ordered a takeaway called The Devil with extra salami. it was great and delivered within the time specified. Staff were brilliant. My one criticism was that they no longer take cash therefore that will be my last visit. I would add it is very family friendly.

We really enjoyed our evening here for my son's 17th Birthday. The food & drinks were yummy and good quality. The atmosphere was nice, we had the downstairs room all to ourselves but what made the evening was how kind and friendly the staff were particularly Zaki and Claire who went out of their way to make our evening special! Food very good as usual at reasonable prices. Evening spoiled by dreadful service. Two waitresses showed no interest, skill or enthusiasm. And still 12.5% added to bill. Chef thanked us when we left. Waitresses not the least bothered. Will not rush back. Pleased to update this June 2022. New staff and very good service. 😊😊

Ordered 1 margarita and 1 buffalo margarita. Both pizzas were pretty bad/below average. Not enough sauce nor mozzarella really feels like the place is saving on toppings. Pizza arrived cold and was extremely gummy. Pizzas are also fairly small when compared to what you typically get in other Italian style establishments in London for the same price range. Feels like your eating an overpriced piece of sourdough bread with some sauce.

Great experience overall, small and cosy. Good food & gluten free available too. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. They make bunny shaped pizza for kids on request, no extra charge :) I wish there were more topping options in the menu. We ordered a gluten free garlic bread but it wasn't to our liking - sadly it was like a strange and crunchy pizza. The garlic was overpowering and tasted burnt but everything else was nice. Gluten free simple mozzarella pizza was really good 👍 top 3 pizzas I've had so far since being gluten free

Quick delivery but really poor gluten free pizza base, dry and tasteless, and paid an extra £3 for the privilege! The toppings were pretty tasteless as well sadly, poor quality. Would not recommend and will avoid in future.

The mamma dough chain does great pizzas and this branch is small and cosy inside too. Service was friendly and efficient and the food, as always, great. Very good gluten free and vegan options and kids meals available.

Food and drinks good. However focus of staff seemed to be on Deliveroo/take away drivers. Service was dead pan and disinterested.

My experience tonight wasn’t the greatest - delivered in 1 hour although it originally said it would take 30 minutes. Food arrived cold and presentation was appalling…I would have given 2 if it wasn’t for past orders which were much nicer.

We ordered a delivery we had thi we meat one and margarita how so disappointed 😞 we were there was two slices of meat on the whole pizza and the base was so thin it feel to pieces it was not sliced either thought I would try it out as I live local what a waste of money that was we had one slice each and put the rest in the bin

The service was attentive and quick. The sourdough pizza were very good. Crispy on the edges and moist and cooked perfectly in the middle and they were cooked super quick with the in-house pizza oven. Highly recommend for a visit or three 👍👍👍

Hi there The place is nice but the staff absolutely out of order. I witnessed the short waiters spoke to the delivery driver with disgusting tone and walked away despite he was asking how long does his order take to be ready. I guess the owner is responsible for putting this particular waiters in any training opportunity soon otherwise he will lose all the regular consumers. I would not recommend this place to friends and family.

Gorgeous pizzas. Amazing quality and delicious toppings. Converted me to anchovy pizzas yum! Also causes less bloating than any other pizza we have tried, magic dough! We order every week - totally recommend

I just ordered 4 pizzas for my wife and kids and I kindly asked to slice them up because we are in the middle of a big home refurbishment and we haven't got any cutlery. They sent the pizzas without slicing them up but not only that they also left a note on the pizza box saying " Sorry we don't cut the pizza because the waiter are too lazy". Thanks Mamma Dough, if you got staff that clearly don't care about the customers then, that's it for me, no more pizza from you guys. Good luck!

Mamma Dough was a no no I'm afraid! Due to our local pizzeria being closed we ordered from Mamma Dough as the next best option. We ordered through Deliveroo and were seriously disappointed. Two Buffalo Margherita pizza's and a Cured Meat. Buffalo Margherita pizza's were tasteless and the cured meat had one piece of each of the meats and was equally tasteless. A massive let down. As Italian as we are, we expect simplicity and flavour. We got bland and no flavour. We had to hit the kitchen and add our own ingredients to get some taste! There are a plethora of much better options around the area!

We've enjoyed lots of pizzas from here since they opened, however now more often than not when we call to order pizzas there is no answer. We usually end up walking to and ordering from the restaurant, (meaning we have to hang around to wait), but the restaurant never seems overly busy that no-one can answer the phone. We've also tried the app but Ladywell doesn't seem to appear. They also frequently claim to run out of dough hours before closing. Unless things change soon, we will be looking to alternative local pizza restaurant.

Delicious, super thin, lightly charred pizza base. Good selection of toppings and staff were happy to alter them a bit. Small wine selection but a couple of organic ones and good quality for the price. Tiramisu was a bit too creamy for me but the affogato was delicious.

Superb food and excellent service provided from Marco, who was friendly and wonderfully humoured. The N'duja and Parmesan Bread was hearty, lovely and full of flavour. The combination of Pesto and Walnuts worked excellently and the Ice Cream was decadent with just a lovely little kick. This was my Sister and my first time in a restaurant since lockdown and we both loved the experience. Highly recommend.

The BEST service and food we've had in a while! Was a whim decision to stop here but a stop we'll definitely make again! Not many vegan option but what they had was incredible!

Ordered 7 pizzas - spent nearly £100… and you can’t even attempt to slice them. We don’t own a pizza slicer - by the time we’d got though all 7 with a knife they were cold. Obviously they need to be sliced and this makes sense to be done by you!

What a pleasure to receive attentive, professional service as well as easy food.

All lovely. When we booked we were told we could only have the table for an hour, but the staff didn't rush us at all and we ended up staying for well over an hour. Amazing tiramisu.
