Mamas Pizza in Middlesbrough

I have order many times, and have to say the last few times for delivery it’s been disappointing, was late. The Parmesan was like it had been shoot together, and gone through the oven a few times, wafer thin is an understatement, cheese burnt to a crisp, had no belchmel sauce on, if it had it was little. Garlic bread burnt and cold, has was the chips and donor meat. The salad was very little.

Smallest tub of garlic I have ever seen. Not enough to share for the food we ordered. The kebab meat was dry and the chips cold. Pizza getting thinner. It’s a no from me.

First and last time ordering after an hour and a half trying to get threw to someone to find out where my food was I gave up and ordered elsewhere for them to Rock up 2 hours late…no keep your food im getting my money back

Orderd a double cheese burger and a parmo burger with dinner meat .. orderd it a hour ago .. had to ring to chase it up said it was in its way .. rang back 10 mins later to then get told it’s sat there .. it then come 15 mins later after that to bite in to the burger to it been stone cold .. no heat at all in the burger .. would have rang up and complained however I’ve got work for 4am so no point + on top of that requested no salad in the burger and it comes with salad

3rd time in a row they have sent a wrong order. Either something is missing or something I've never ordered sent. Fres garlic bread??? Spent over £30 on many occasions and still not received the garlic bread. Sat waiting for my hot shot parmo after the rest of the family ate over a hour ago. Shocking service.

Terrible I ordered a donner pizza and it came with salad on top of it!!! I would expect a better pizza made by linthorpe primary school! Never ever again , still picking cabbage out of my teeth!!!

Bought takeaways from here for years now but won’t buy anymore.put an order in last Saturday via their website about 06-00pm and got the order about 09-15.phoned a few times and was told different things every time I called.eventually they admitted they had messed up and not seen my order.they said they would send my order out as soon as possible and I would get a full refund which I’m still waiting for.the order came and part of that was wrong as I ordered a pepperoni pizza and they sent me a parmo with pepperoni on top.so as I never got a refund I will not go back again

Ordered on uber eats at 6:25 with estimated delivery time being 6:55-7:15.At 6:40 it was "on the way".at 7:15, gave them a call, told me it'll be 15 minutes.7:30 gave them a call, was told it'll be 10 minutes.At 7:40, gave them a call, the boss started making up some excuses like "oh I don't know where the driver is or what he's doing", then hung up the phone on me.7:45, the boss told me "oh we turned up to the house and you didn't answer" which was complete BS. I had been watching out of my window for the whole time. Told him to stop BSing me and tell me the truth.Received the order at 8:45PM.Over 2hrs and 20 minutes from when I ordered.What I received was horrendous and grim.Burgers completely soggy, food cold, chips tasting like cardboard and worst of all, their parmos had definitely been blended, pieced together then breadcrumbed. Absolutely disgusting. Makes you wonder what type of chicken they really are using when the consistency is falling apart in your mouth because it was literally blended and put into a pizza tray pan. The parmo is literally round because the mush they use can be pushed right up to the edge of the pizza pan tray because it's literally blended up chicken.See for yourself and STAY AWAY. Do NOT order.

We have ordered from mammas in the past and waited the usual hour for a delivery, standard for any takeaway. However ordered last night food came within half and hour and it was piping hot, well done guys super tasty will order again 🙂

We have been visiting Mamas for years and wouldn’t try anywhere else ! But after tonight’s visit & attitude from the manager over giving us the wrong order which has happened before but being a loyal customer we stayed loyal to the business We won’t be returning for sure ! No empathy at all basically took your money and doesn’t care if it’s wrong and the time travelling back to the shop to rectify the order ! Wrong pizzas / cold chicken kebabs / order mixed up Nightmare !Managers attitude is absolutely shocking & doesn’t deserve custom !

Always been happy with the food from here, we only buy pizzas good ordering system and prompt delivery.

The pizza was cold even though i had to wait and i picked it up!, a hot chicken kebab off the grill with freezing cold salad out the chiller thrown on top makes no sense nothing like the menu depicts, staff unwelcoming when ready it was just shot on the counter and my number shouted. Thought id try it but There's better in Middlesbrough by far.

All nice nothing wrong with the place, the staff are friendly and help as much as possible, the only thing that's wrong with this place is that it gets extremely busy so there's a wait sometimes even when ringing up to pick up

To to honest someone told me the food was really hood here. So I tried it and to be honest it was very poor. Food under cooked And would not recommend the place

There are many places to eat takeaway food in middlesbrough. Some expensive. Some are cheap. This is expensive and what can I say - I threw it in the bin. Keep away and look elsewhere.

Este es mi go-to para llevar mi sheesh especial kebab! Salsa de chili y siempre caliente ensalada para acompañar el sheesh y luego agregar carne donner extra chili caliente y un montón de salsa de ajo la mejor! Es una fija de mina y entregado con la eficiencia de amable que quieras de todos los proveedores de comida para llevar. Sigan con el buen trabajo chicos!

Been going there for years. I love their pizzas. Never had a problem with my order or the service. Their pollo mamonie is excellent. The place is always very busy, so they must be pleasing a lot of customers.

Made an order was told within the hour also the price, over an hour later I phone the reasturant and my order had not been put through when I ask why their communication skills aren't very good the reply was I'm sorry love were really busy. Some sort of joke, never will I ever order again

First Visit had chicken parmo which was ok. Very fresh. Came with Chips and Salad but didn't get many chips with it. Ordered garlic sauce which was quite thin but very nice in taste. Service fine, waited about 10mins

Reasonable prised good food, not very polite Staff, but it wouldn't put me off another visit..... So watch this space .

Servicio absolutamente repugnante del personal en mamas. Llamar a un pedido y te rush en el teléfono, así que hicimos un pedido esta noche y después pedí mi pizza, entonces el hombre dijo en menos de una hora, teniendo en cuenta que había más cosas a la orden. Luego poner el teléfono por groseramente! Esto ha sucedido en más de una ocasión. ... En otra ocasión, tuve tres picaduras de mi Parmo hamburguesa hasta encontrar un pelo atrapado en el queso de color completamente diferente a la mía. Este lugar me enfermo y necesita golpearon modales mejor! Asco personal que siempre apresurándose para conseguir más pedidos. Todo por el dinero y no dan una mierda lo que la gente piensa!!!!!

This place is utter organised chaos, while the food is decent (nothing outstanding) it is never ready if you phone in an order, it took 25 minutes after they told me to call for me to be served, after I complained all I got was a total insincere half hearted excuse for an apology. Plenty of competition around

Had a party 3 weeks ago. Ordered 6 large pizzas of varying types, & 6 garlic sauces(5 came, one short). Pizzas were great.Ordered a parmo sunday just gone. Opened it up. Was stunned. No thicker than the beer mats over the club. This was not just cutting back on portion sizes This was skimping to the point of greed.Public know when theyre being short changed.

Had family over from Germany and all decided to get a take out order over £50 worth of food and when all was delivered there was 1 meal missing so 1 person was left without a meal while the others eat when phoned up to complain was told we hadn't ordered it even though the person had read our order back to us over the phone and the order was correct at the time of ordering the service is absolutely shocking and they never get the orders right anymore as they are to busy rushing the orders through so they make more money never again will we go there for a takeaway

Food is always amazing, it's the only pizza shop pizza I like, only place I will go! Only criticism I have is the delivery driver has been very rude to me quite a few times which angers me seems as though I order from here every week!

Mamas pizza always has lovely, well made food. The pizzas are absolutely amazing and the kebas are amazing. Definitely recommend Mamas , also has a very quick delivery system! !

Really disappointed with the service I received from mamas tonight! I placed a large order as it was a family birthday and we had family over! The order came to £28.10 and I asked could I have a margarita pizza free as he order was over £25 and the guy said he would have to ask his manager, he came back on the line he said that was fine.When the order was delivered the total had changed to £30.10! This was very embarrassing as I didn't have it and had to ask a guest for the short fall! I rang the pizza shop and was spoken to in a very rude and abnoxious manner and basically told I couldn't have the free pizza and had been charged £1.80! This was NOT told to me on the phone when I placed the order! As a regular customer I'm appalled with the way I was treated by a man who calmed to be a manager! I worked in retail and if I spoke to a customer the way I was spoken to I would be SACKED! The point isn't how I believe I was over charged, the way my complaint was handled! There seems to be no customer service within mamma's and the manager needs some people skill that are so obviously lacking! My family were gobs smacked the way he spoke to a women! Very disappointed tonight! And will be highlighting this on social media!
