Good food, nice staff and reasonably priced

Been a few times now and staff are friendly food is lovely and still keenly priced 😀

Greeted with the happiest waitress I've ever met. If you're feeling down, this place will definitely cheer you up. The food was really good. We had the fry which was fantastic value.

Got a fish supper omg the fish was disgusting must be from lurgan lake chips soggy and cold wouldn't even be a mile from the house never again

Cheap and cheerful, I asked for the famous chicken burger for lunch as it was stated on the menu but when it arrived it was two chicken gougons inside a bap. That being said it was actually really nice, the chips were lovely and the batter on the chicken was nice aswell.

Absolutely brilliant place to have a bite to eat, fantastic service from all the staff as always! The atmosphere was electric👍thanks team Maloney's!! whoop whoop,,sorry. all worked up after beautiful meal 😆

Philly steak sub was absolutely gorgeous. Good customer service aswel. The young made sure we had everything we wanted and nothing was to much hassle.

It's been hit and miss for sometime, however today confirmed I won't be back £10:90 for a chicken goujon meal, the most expensive in town and instead of 4 southern fried goujons I got 7 small pieces of what looked breaded and over cooked, a small portion of chips, the wrong dip and I had to ask for my drink or I wouldn't have got one. I feel ripped off tbh its not as if the place was busy as I was the only one in when ordering. Very disappointed

Great food love it great staff

We came here for lunch and were surprised by the up-market interior, much more than you would expect from a normal diner! The staff were very friendly and got everything right, food and drinks. Had the 8oz sirloin steak with chips, an onion ring and mushy peas and can strongly recommend it. The fish and chips can also be recommended since one can hardly finish the lard portion! The prices were very reasonable so I couldn't have given anything else other than the full 5 stars! Will come again as soon as I can :)

I have eaten in but mostly use Maloney's for take away fish and chips. The food is always freshly cooked, massive portions, delicious and good value.

Not the best. Some people rave about Maloneys, I've been in, probably, 10 times, don't get it at all! Not for me. Coffee stewed.

Down to earth food at good prices

We visited as a family today and my wife and I ordered a burger and chip separately, when going to pay, they charged for Meal Deal each which was £4 more expensive lol, I have never known a MEAL DEAL? to be more expensive than buying separately lol. The girl at the counter was convinced she was right, when we pointed to what was clearly a cheaper deal when ordering. The food was bland and the least quality chip shop food I have ate.

I really loved maloney's and the service and the food was also excellent 👌

Can be a hit or miss if the food is hot or been sitting too long in a low set heater. Whilst I’ve no issue with their price increase I did have a problem with the meal size being reduced as well. Was disgraceful to serve the pensioner meal with what was a garnish of chips instead of the usual handful size portion. The pot of tea had been filled with lukewarm water and couldn’t be strengthened. Was like drinking warm water. This place has been going down hill this past while. Could it be every visit there’s a new face or is it the very young girls who are serving?? Not worth a visit.

Got the BBQ Primehouse (i think it was) as a meal, so got a chip & drink as part of the deal and also just a fish as well.. The Chip that came with the Burger was absolutely massive, easily a two person portion!

Sorry but anyone thinks this is good food and good service, really needs to go out more. I simply ordered bacon toast and tea. The toast was barely singed bread. The bacon was underdone and fat not rendered….boke. The stewed tea was served in a teapot with no top on the lid. How on Earth were yous reared????!!!!!…. Never mind run a business!!! Thank God there are lots more options in Lurgan for a decent breakfast.

Visited this diner for a takeaway lunch as it looked nice and seemed relatively busy. The chips that I ordered were nice, as was the sauce, but I specifically asked when ordering my vegetarian burger if it was a potato pattie style veggie burger or some sort of veggie meat substitute, and this is were my problem lies. The girl who served me didn’t know what the burger was like so asked the chef and assured me it wasn’t ‘fake meat/quorn’. As I don’t like quorn or fake meat substitutes (which I told them) I ordered it believing I would get the normal potato based veggie burger everywhere else tend to use. When I got home I realised it was ‘fake meat’ in some sort of batter, like a deep fried bartered burger so I phoned the restaurant to discuss my concerns (given I had specifically asked details about such before ordering) and didn’t even get an apology, just a confirmation that it is vegetarian. The almost £4 burger ended up going to my dog which I told them I would have to do. It seems the staff aren’t very well trained when it comes to knowledge on the vegetarian items on their menu and they certainly aren’t apologetic if they make mistakes. Unfortunately I won’t be returning.

Sirloin steak special was best meal I’ve had in a long time, and very reasonably priced for a steak meal compared to other places. Great menu / a lot to choose from. My husband had fish supper and was well pleased with this too. The salads are really freshly made /laid out well and lettuce crisp and fresh and salad plate is made to your personal choice of what you want in the salad.. So you can eat healthy in this diner if you like salads. Staff were very attentive and helpful and friendly and service was very good. Definetly be back here again .. Well done Maloneys..

they have the best service you don't have to wait for a long time you get your money's worth cheap and it is really good food it is the best diner I have ever been too and the music is joyful and great for children. I would 100% go there again

The food it lovely well cooked and always tasty as well as inexpensive as an average meal is around £6. Its good for kids and a grest alternative to the golden arches

Love this place. I visit more then 5 time in last 2 weeks i am surprised about the customer service we eaven get a free ice creams for our wee lad 🙂 do not believe the negative reviews... come try yourself you will be surprised. Sacha you doing good job keep going. 👍

Friendly staff, as important as the quality of the food which I can not faulter. Got a breakfast bap and it came with some chips which was a nice little treat and they were crackin. Wee thing like this has me coming back for more.

Had to wait a long time for food. Food was ok

Table was dirty when we arrived. Slow to take order. But staff were very polite and friendly and table was cleaned. Food was lovely. Small fish and chips with peas £4.95. Special was steak with chips, peas, onion rings and sauce, £7.95. Steak was small but for the price very good value and everything was well cooked. Well worth a visit.

Visited tonight for the first time (definitely won’t be the last!) Friendly staff fabulous coffee (nice & hot just perfect) fantastic food perfectly cooked. Absolutely no complaints at all, one of the staff came over a few times to ask if everything was ok constantly beaming smile and the lady who took payment was just as lovely too! Hope to see you all again soon ….. we’ll done ladies

onion rings were very greasy chips were dried out and cooked in old oil the worst part was the staff were shouted at on shop floor by the manager made it very uncomfortable for staff and our family meal of 8 people

Went to maloneys at 1.40 was not busy ordered wife’s came found a hair in the chips so left it wife went to the shop as I was still waiting on my fry I went to pay to be told to sit down as they forgot about me got fry but as I waited an hour my tea was cold but I wasn’t even offered a fresh tea paid full price put up on there Facebook page about it and they removed it very disappointing

Service slow, but staff friendly, food OK for a local chippy. But for a place that is not dog friendly I was annoyed to see a couple having their dog at the table... For this reason I will be dubious of going back

A nice enough cafe, with plenty of seating and parking.

Would get far better reviews if you didn’t have to wait 30-40 mins for your food! This is my second visit and wait still the same. Fish is lovely but when u have kids with you the wait is too long for them

I often drove past sighting the offers boards and liked the look of the place so I stopped went in and instantly the air hung heavy with a damp greasy smell. Chairs and table felt sticky ordered a FRY not good! Won't be back.

Great service, lovely friendly staff but place feels, looks & smells like a GREAZY SPOON TRANSPORT CAFETERIA! The ULSTER FRYS looked nice but the food I had was poor. Doubt I'll return. Good luck you have the potential to raise your standards.
