Make A Shake in Stevenage

Their shakes are absolutely amazing, so tasty and good for the prices. Only let down at the minute is the timings on the door for their opening hours are wrong and so on google it may say they are open but when turn up it is locked??

The best milkshakes, so many different interesting flavours and every flavour I have had takes wonderful. Highly recommend!

It would be good if they were open till the time displayed also would be good if they answered the phone too 👍

Great shakes and lovely staff, especially Ashli. I love that it's all brand chocs and sweets and they do daily specials. All the shakes are made with ice-cream and are seriously good. Best shakes in Stevenage!

Friendly staff, great service and atmosphere! Definitely spoilt for choice what a variety! Highly recommend rain or sun.

Everytime i go to make a shake it makes me happy. Really good prices for a huge milkshake. The kinder bueno milkshake is by far the best. Its around £3.50 for a large and is really tough to finish so you get plenty for your money.

As it takes ten minutes to make two shakes. Whilst your waiting you can't even talk to the person next to you without shouting over the music. Milkshakes are nice.

went into make-a-shake last night (25/05/2017 at about 8pm) to get my daughter a shake, as you do, but unfortunately i only had a £20 note to pay with. So anyway I hand over my £20 note saying "sorry this is all i have", to which the miserable looking girl behind the counter rolled her eyes at and then preceded to give me my change, which consisted of a £10 note (fair enough no worries there) and then £7.75 in 50ps and 20ps. I asked her if this was all the change she had and she said yes, even though both me and my daughter saw pound coins and fivers in the till when she opened it. Im sorry but this was just spiteful, trying to get one up on an annoying customer (tho not really that annoying and I did apologise for only having a £20 note) there was no need for it and then to blatantly lie to a customer when questioned, that's just horrendous customer service. wont be going back and I hope the girl working last night has some kind of disciplinary action brought up against her.

This place is great. I go pretty often. Nice workers, foods great. Milkshakes are the madness. Love it. They need to make it so you can order milkshakes to your house. You shouldn't purchase stuff everyday from their shop, but two or three times a month is pretty good if you're a regular customer.

Although the milkshakes are mostly always nice, the workers are stuck up, rude girls who stare at you and don't say a single word. Just walked inside and had three girls stop their conversation and all stare at me. Made me feel uncomfortable and the silence was awkward. Walked straight out after not even a minute of being there

My partner had a habit of craving milkshakes at randon times and she couldn't recomend this place enough. The oreo mikshake was a big winner for her!

Went yesterday with two x 10 year olds. I can get you need to wait when there is a queue (that doesn't bother me in the slightest) but what I don't get is when some sour faced red haired miserable assistant at best can move slower than a snail and there were not 1 but 3 other staff members out the back on their mobile phones - in full view clear as day with a queue back out of the door. When you manage to get served the reception is grim to say the least not a hello, what would you like or a smile - you get stared at in silence until you place your order. Average age of staff is mid teens and clearly no training has been given in customer service - and why take this job if you detest people so much? Much as the kids enjoyed it I would never go in there again on principle and have made sure I have told all my friends to do the same - shocking service total down right rude, totally mugged off!

Regular visits here throughout summer as we love the products on offer my only criticism would be the girls sometime seem so miserable in there. No smile no welcome and drinks just placed on the side. However the visit today was the opposite and the young lady was very polite and professional and most importantly happy ! Keep it up !

Walked in with a few of my family members and walked straight back out because every single member of staff had their hair down, not to mention long hair. Didn't feel comfortable knowing they'd be the people making my milkshake. Awful.

Came in to get some shakes for me and my son. It was so hot and we decided that a nice shake would help us cool down. Must admit inwas really enjoying my shake until i discovered a really long dark brown hair in it left by one of the girls that made it. Ruined it for me. I know its not mandatory for the girls tonwear hats but surely when working with food it is advisory to tie their hair back? Wont stop me coming in but may put me off if i see the girls long hair waving around when shes making another shake :-(

Normally we have no problem here however today I ordered a Kinder Bueno milkshake. When I got near the end of the milkshake I sucked up some plastic and then found a load of chopped up plastic at the bottom. I took it back to the shop in case there was a problem with the machine. The lady was very apologetic and said she thinks the girl that made it did not take off the second plastic wrapper on the Kinder Bueno so it all got mixed up in the milkshake. Luckily it was my milkshake that had this and not the milkshake my 1 year old had otherwise this could have been a lot worse! You can see the plastic bits in the picture. More care needs to be taken.

asked for 2 coke floats, ice cream and coke, take a trip down memory lane paid £6.50 was presented with 2 bottles of coke with straws... Music not just loud but REALLY LOUD maybe that's why the counter assistant didn't hear what was said..Yes maybe i should have questioned it but to be honest couldn't bear to shout over the noise.sorry...

They do awesome shakes and reasonably priced. On warmer days they do get really busy, obviously, and the service is rather slow. Could do with some more machines and staff at the weekends.

Me and my boyfriend went into make a pancake and we were the only customers in at the time. The server -Karis, put down the menus the pancake menu and the milkshake menu, she then disappeared for 10 minutes. We decided we just wanted milkshakes and she said okay and took our order. 5 minutes later she came back out and said 'you have to leave' and then just stared at me so I asked 'why?' And she said because we are ordering just milkshakes so we have to go round the other side so I said oh ok well we will have another look at the pancake menu. She then disappeared for another 5 minutes. She came back and said so are you still having the milkshakes or what? Are you gonna order the pancakes? She spoke really rudely and I told her we hadn't really quite decided yet and she sighed and walked away so me and my boyfriend decided to leave because she was not welcoming or helpful and make us feel uncomfortable. Will not be returning and wouldn't recommended unless you want to experience very bad service!

Visited when I wanted a naughty treat after work! Easy to find and park.Really good menu choice for smoothies, and milkshakes with or without ice cream/ yogurt.All options on menu are customisable.Bit expensive but worth it for a treat.No where to sit, to drink or while waiting (but seating around the back in the new make a pancake means you can have shakes there too).Would visit again.

The staff don't look like they want to be there and are always on their phones, extremely slow and not very friendly at all.The milkshake itself is nice, but ridiculously overprice, the loyalty scheme is good but no way should you be getting one stamp PER VISIT! We ordered 5 milkshakes and got just one stamp, next time we will be stepping in one by one so we get the stamps that we deserve paying that much.

Milkshakes are always tasty. Expensive but worth it when wanting something naughty. You get a loyalty card too so can build up to a free shake.

Service is slow, a bit overpriced and nowhere to actually sit properly if you have a disability, only beanbags off to the side. Otherwise, it's nice and friendly.
