Maison is absolutely incredible - having followed Ben and Lornette's journey from Send to West Byfleet and now to Farnham, I am delighted to say that they have absolutely nailed it yet again! What an absolute gem of a restaurant! Ben and Lornette have done a fabulous job in creating a fine dining experience with an intimate, relaxed friendly atmosphere. It’s just like going to a friends home for dinner except the food is the best you’ll ever eat! Ben is a tremendous chef, so knowledgable about local produce, a real inspiration. Lornette is the most relaxed and friendly host you’ll ever meet, really down to earth and really knows how to make you feel welcome. Fine dining can often mean stuffiness and a lack of atmosphere but Maison is the absolute opposite. We sat at the chef’s table and Ben and Lornette chatted like we were old friends. Ben puts together the menu in advance so there’s no decisions to be made, just sit back and trust that whatever you’re served will be heavenly. This restaurant is by far the best restaurant we’ve ever been to, it’s what Farnham and the surrounding areas has been waiting for for years! There is nothing quite like it and it certainly exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to return. Thanks Ben and Lornette for an experience we’ll never forget.

Lovely venue, hostess and chef/host great. This is a restaurant where you are literally invited into their home. If you really enjoy your food, then this is the place to be. A maximum of 16 covers makes for an intimate evening. Restaurant is unsurprisingly popular and books up rapidly. Only food option is the seven course tasting menu and whilst they will cater for allergies they do not do 'dislikes'. We had no idea what we were going to get but happy to tuck into everything.

Recently, myself and two friends had the pleasure of dining at Maison. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome and at home by the very friendly hosts. The menu tasting was a great way to experience the chef's skills and food flare. Maison had to offer. We were spoiled with a variety of delicious dishes that were cooked to perfection. The flavours were incredible and the presentation was exquisite. The highlight of the meal was the chicken. It was cooked to perfection and was the best we had ever had. The desserts were also a highlight, with a range of flavours, colours and delightful surprises. I have Coeliac (gluten free), and the chef was more than happy to accommodate my dietary requirements. He even went above and beyond, making "the best" gluten free bread just for me. This was a really nice touch and made me feel very special. Overall, our experience at Maison was fantastic. The food was outstanding and the hosts were very friendly. The price was also worth it for the quality of the food and service we received. I would highly recommend Maison to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Thank you again and look forward to dining with you again in the coming months. My son and I had the great pleasure of dining at Maison recently and can confirm the positive things that everyone else is saying. Lornette is a charming hostess - very attentive and great to talk to. We sat at the chef's table and chatted to Ben as he was cooking and preparing the food. He told us about his cooking journey and was very well humoured and interesting. The food was outstanding with amazing attention to detail and wonderful flavours. I can't recommend dining here enough. Put your faith in Ben and you won't be disappointed in what he serves up. Thank you for a lovely evening, we hope to return soon.

What a wonderful meal and experience we shared with some friends here at La Maison a couple of weeks ago. The food provided by Ben and the service by Lornette are exceptional from start to finish. They provide a wonderful 7 course tasting menu throughout the evening in a very cosy, warm and homely setting. All courses were of the highest quality and surely a Michelin star (or two, or three!) can not be far away! We booked our second visit straight away for December and are really looking forward to our next evening at this absolute gem.

We used to visit the London House for special occasions when Ben & Lornette had their restaurant in Old Woking and West Byfleet so we were eager to visit their new place. It was great to chat to them both throughout the evening. The restaurant feels intimate and welcoming. I love the concept of a dinner party vibe, there is no menu but you have your own table. We arrived just after 6.30pm for pre dinner drinks. A 7 course taster menu is then served from 7.30pm. We enjoyed the majority of the food with some stand out courses being the pumpkin velouté, the homemade bread, the duck egg with white truffle and both desserts. Would definitely recommend booking.

I had been waiting to come here for months and it did not disappoint. You are greeted with such a warm welcome. It is such a beautiful place with a lovely, warm atmosphere. Big thanks to both Ben and Lornette. The food was incredible, I had never been to a place like it or eaten food like it before. It was considered, delicious and refined food. Lornette is so friendly and professional at the same time, she has it down to such a fine art. Service and food was impeccable. I absolutely cannot wait to book to come again.

With his wife by his side you really do feel part of them in there home and been invited round for dinner. Exceptional can’t wait to go back.

We enjoyed ten courses, including one designed just for us from our chosen ingredient. Ben is a talented chef and this restaurant is what Farnham has been crying out for - a proper destination for a special occasion. Thanks Ben and Lornette for a very memorable evening.

Knocked out by an amazing meal in an elegant, informal setting worthy of a Michelin Star. Lornette and Ben made us feel at home with their personal service and cuisine presented with finesse and flavour. Book in advance - I'm already booking a 'rematch' as soon as possible.

We ate at Maison last night. What an amazing, relaxed and delicious experience. Each course was perfect - from the veloute right through to the chocolate mousse (the breads and buttes/oils were divine!). Perfect setting, great dining experience - and Lornette and Ben were so welcoming and friendly. We cannot wait to go back and experience the chef's table! Jo and Neil.

We had a fabulous time here! Whilst there are few “covers” and the place feels like you are “at home” (Maison is French for home) seating is not so intimate that you are listening in to other diners’ conversations whilst you are chatting and enjoying your “hosts” series of dishes: depending on what one counts, we had 6 delightful seasonally adjusted dishes. Everyone was served at the same time, as you would be at home….plenty of time between dishes…..delightful hosting by Lornette, wife of the French chef Ben…. If you want to go out for a memorable evening , in a relaxed atmosphere giving your taste buds a treat, go here!

Such a great evening. Maison surpasses both previous restaurants. Such a lovely, intimate venue. Added bonus of easy parking. Maison really feels like home from home, but with wonderfully tailored seasonal dishes. Ben and Lornette make you feel so welcome. I loved not knowing what was coming next on the menu. Really unusual in a restaurant,but works wonderfully here.

I'm pretty sure that there's no other restaurant like 'Maison' in Farnham or the surrounding area. The concept is simple. Masterchef Ben and his wife, Lornette, have invited you over for dinner. And like most dinner parties, the guests don't know what they will be served until they arrive and are seated at their table. That's 'Maison'. The menu changes daily and is governed by whatever fresh produce is in season and available locally - and the inspiration of the chef. Of course, you are asked about allergies, etc. at the time of booking. The dining room is cosy and intimate (with around 12 covers). There is a view into the kitchen area where Ben plates up the dishes and, if you wish, there is additional seating for 4 guests at the chef's table where you can chat with Ben and ask questions whilst you dine. The wine list offers a good selection of wines to satisfy all palates. The menu is a multi-course 'taster' menu, with the addition of an amuse bouche and palate cleanser. Ben also bakes the bread and cooks everything else from scratch. What is presented and described to you by Lornette is delicious and certainly will not disappoint. Service starts promptly at 7.30pm, with pre-dinner drinks and cocktails served from 6.30pm. Expect to leave the restaurant at around 10.30pm as, like most dinner parties, it's to be enjoyed rather than rushed. And enjoy it you will. 'Maison' is a welcome and unique addition to the dining scene in Farnham, and a place that 'foodies' will flock to. Tell you friends about it.

From the moment you walk into this absolutely charming restaurant you feel it is something very special. This tiny businessis run by the most lovely, friendly couple you could wish to meet. As an added bonus they offer the most impeccable food and service too. There are no other staff so in order to ensure the numbers are kept way down to a maximum I would guess of around 16 covers, all arriving for one sitting. There are no food menus, you get what you are given but it is truly excellent food - the best produce, offered through a multi-course tasting menu, bought locally wherever possible and cooked by Ben to perfection. Lornette serves the food seamlessly, explaining the details of each course with true professionalism, friendly but not intrusive. The wine list is reasonably priced and to be honest so is the food for the quality of the product and the standard of the service. Between Ben and Lornette, a restaurant has been created which provides its guest with a truly memorable occasion - a hugely refreshing arrival to the Farnham area.
