Mahony's Cafe Bistro & Chicken House in West Dunbartonshire

Went in for brunch, has a good selection of food and was excellent and freshly made. Got busier closer to lunch time, would recommend going in early before lunch or after lunch time

I thought most of the menu was over priced, however ordered a burger with macaroni and fish in chips. The fish n chips were cooked ok but the fish wasn't the biggest in the sea that day that's for sure and the portion was poor. The burger was burnt and the mac n cheese tasted as if it was burnt to the bottom of a pot. We did get a refund but I would rather have had a better meal. Definitely won't be back.

me and my friends came to have a meal, my friend ordered a cheese burger which came cremated and the chips were freezing me and one of my friends got the spaghetti carbonara which was undercooked pasta and cold when we received my other friend got spaghetti bolognaise and it was cold and very over seasoned we called over the waitress and explained to her that we aren’t happy with our service and tired to reason with but she then laughed in our faces and told us we are playing an act grabbed my friends bowl of spaghetti and placed her hand in it to feel if it was cold we told her we would lay for part of the meals and the drinks but not the full amount as we hardly ate anything and she walked away left us waiting for 25 minutes kept ignoring us when we called her over and then once she came back she grabbed our bill slammed the table and laughed we explained to her we tried to part with her and be as reasonable as we could but the customer service we received was absolutely shocking so and she then proceeded to walk away and ignore us, when we called her over for the final time she told us we are acting selfish and like children and we are playing an act told us to get up and leave and we aren’t welcome back.

Absolutely AMAZING!! Went there for the first time yesterday and was blown away by the macaroni!! The waitresses are so lovely and the food is to die for. The drinks are superb,, a bit pricey but you definitely get what you pay for.

Minkin tatties. After ordering mashed potatoes with my streak pie, i did not expect it to be mashed potato soup on the side of my plate (which by the way should have been served with a straw) it had the consistency of semolina and the taste of grit. On the plus side the way out of was perfect.

Rather dreary decor but seemed to be clean enough. Tasty enough lunch but a little expensive for what it is.

Mahony Cafe Bistro is a good place in Clyde Shopping Centre. but it's not a place for a quick bite. Food is okay but it's a little bit expensive the £3 gravy is disappointing cause we already pay the steak for £17. The Calamari is just poor quality. I hope they improve their food and services even how busy they are.

The only option given when we mentioned a gluten allergy was rice.

Steak pie is fantastic and highly recommend the garlic chicken wings😋

Half stumbled on this place last night, and I must admit, myself, and my wife were very impressed with the homemade burgers, most of the staff are very friendly, and are keen to make sure you have everything you need. So if you want a GREAT homemade burger for under a £10, this is the place to go. I gave it 4 stars, as the decor is a bit dated, can't give it 4 1/2.

Did not enjoy my experience or meal at this place and won't be returning. I was served the saltiest bearnaise sauce on a piece of white bread and the waitress we had for our table paid no attention to us 👎. Wasted my time and money going there - ruined my whole evening.

Overpriced not very nice food a tin of chopped tomatoes dumped on top of a slice of bread and called it bruchetta then drinks questioning why no alcoholic drinks where ordered over charge from set meal so yeah what a great place!!!!!!!

I am so disappointed on my visit today I ordered soup then spaghetti bolognese soup was not that hot but nice bolognese was tasteless I said to a member of staff who said OK so I was going to pay my bill and I said to her again she came back to me and said the chef said he apologized he would change the recipe well am very unhappy as I go there all the time not good enough

Reallly good food and service with a smile, i think people tend to overlook this plave but it is seriously underrated

Staff always pleasant and friendly, food great, prices great.

Family friendly place in the shopping centre. Staff is friendly and attentive. Soup of the day was delicious and fudge cake with vanilla ice cream is worth having as your dessert.

Healthy munch. wach out get tricked way the lunch price. Other than tht foods the bang bang.

1st and last time visit. Myself and partner ordered bbq ribs and they were tasteless just a cheap sauce over them not even marinated. Mozzarella sticks felt like they were out a frozen bag . Mains were a chicken burger which was poor frozen burger tossed on a grill and a chicken n peppercorn sauce and same again more water from chicken than sauce really poor definitely dont reccomend.

No star, service was very poor, wheelchair access lacking had to leave my wife outside to gain access, wouldnt fulfil a simple request regarding drinks, when complaining manager asked us why we were still here so we left, again very poor service.

Booked a table with the eat in to help out scheme. Overall a good experience. Busy with lots of customers but I am a little concerned that it was not as covid secure as some other places I have been in. Staff not consistent with face coverings, sometimes pulled down, sometimes not on. Music was louder than I thought it should be according to current guidelines which meant we had to raise our voices to hear across the table. Food was lovely, good portion sizes and very tasty. Would return when more covid secure.

Service was lovely but some things missing for example with tempura prawns should have been chilli sauce but I got served a pot of mayo. Wine tasted cheap and vinegary. Good sized portions and lovely staff

Lunchtime menu was absolutely delicious

Dropped in here on a whim and had the two course lunch with my wife. I had the mussels and the chicken skewer. Mussels were steamed to perfection and cleaned beautifully. No grit at all and plump. The chicken skewer was amazing - nicely charred with lovely salad and sauce condiments. Staff and surroundings were great. Lunch for 2 with drinks was about £27 - great value. Highly reccomended.

A pint of coke is £3.90 and fish and chips served with no peas, side salad or lemon and cost £7.95 . Only good thing was the waitresses were friendly. I wont eat here again.

Brilliant service, cheerful staff who are very welcoming. Reasonable price for 2 course lunch £10 ish depending on if you have extra sides.we had our drinks delivered quickly and orders for food were checked a few times to make sure we understood what each dish had with it.food was Delicious 😋 mussels in white wine sauce and garlic bread and chicken cesear salad were brilliant. Big portions were well received by all.sadly never had enough space for desert but will go back another time just for that.id highly recommended this great wee place

New breakfast menu today. I had the veggie option and it was brilliant Too much for me to eat and the chef came out to ask me how I was enjoying it. Flat white made by Anyur was braw. They made me very welcome and the sun came in the window. Typical Clydebank.

Friendly staff who greeted us right away, clean restaurant. Good portion size for food, tasted lovely. Not giving this five stars as I felt they were a bit slow to take the drinks order, but I'd eat here again.

Lovely decor, very clean and friendly. Will definitely be back. Food was great.
