Whenever I order from this place on uber eat, the food arrives over an hour later sometimes of the given estimate delivery time, they have never answered any calls whenever I called them, the food isn't bad once it arrives, but the service is absolutely awful.

Great food, open late hours. Heena and Wajid made for such amazing servers. We'll definitely pop in again

What can I say brilliant service overall, the lady that served us was very friendly polite and welcoming who had great customer service skills, the food was freshly cooked and tasty. The lady chef who cooked everything really does deserve a pat on the back.Me and my husband can’t fault anything keep up the good work. We would recommend family & friends to visit. We’ve had their desi nashta.

Been coming to this place for a long time but the service and food was a huge let down this time. Regular staff Meet and Nidhi were not there, so we were dealing with new staff who don’t even understand what customer service is. We placed the order saying no naan only roti. They bought food with naan, they said sorry chef forgot about roti. We asked that the lamb curry is the same as the one on there tawa but they came with a different one, they said sorry chef forgot. We returned the curry and naan just had the tawa. The family sitting next to us was complaining as well saying you gave us the wrong curry they said sorry to them the chef forgot. We will not be returning to this place again. As for the Chef ( short term memory lost patient ) I think they need to replace him.

Excellent experience, food and service was spot on especially Meet and Nidhi were very helpful, these guys need bigger place though, we went on Sunday and end up waiting half an hour before we got a table and than had to wait for the food, overall good experience will be happily visiting again 😋, keep up the good work team👌

Amazing authentic Lamb Charsi karahi , was in derby for work and found this lovely place. Charsi karahi was full of flavour and fresh to the taste buds. Highly recommend this place

Plenty of parking, private shared carpark just go in and add number plate on screen at till, service was quite slow, had to keep asking for things, food wasn’t too bad, lamb chops were a little tough, ordered separate off menu as I didn’t want the thali, spent £60 want too bad overall ok, but wouldn’t go again

The best best food. What a taste!!! Chany were best part. We ate Chany, Nihari, Haleem, Halwa Puri and Tea. The lady here is so gracious with customers and goes out of the way to help. Thank you so much for such nice food

Just came here for lunch but i must say, we wasted our money We ordered Chicken karahi, lamb karahi, egg fried rice, fries & wings but totally pathetic taste & service. Staff is very rude and we just left food behind. Sorry to say but totally tasteless

Really nice authentic food, in a warm and friendly environment. I throughly enjoyed the kebab roll and freshly made vegetable biriyani. Good prices and friendly staff. A hidden gem in Derby.

Was driving past and randomly went to Maher. Ordered the lamb karahi freshly made. Did not disappoint at all was very good and enjoyed every bite. Would recommend to anyone

The instructions were not followed for “Karahi”. I requested spicy, even I had put an instruction note separately, but it was not spicy. Nans were worst, so hard and chewy, didn’t feel like I am eating fresh. These were the worst nans I have ever had from Maher. They were like Papad.

Visited MEHER’s when we were roaming around the streets of Derby in a beautiful evening which was the best choice of that day. The restaurant was attracting a trendy crowd, easily accessible from the road, visible from the streets. There were many seats available when we arrived there. The staff were so welcoming. Nithi one of the staff from MEHER’s was so charming and kind to help us to choose the menu. She explained politely our enquiries on the menu. We have ordered MIXED GRILL which I can suggest the BEST in there. We have seen some of the previous customer’s reviews in Google as well. That helped us to go for that one which was so delicious. And, we have ordered Lamb Biriyani. That’s also beautifully cooked and offered with Salads & Pickles. If you’re walking in the streets of Derby don’t miss the chance to visit MEHER’s. Parking available at the back gate (Ask staff) Wheel chair accessible entry is there. Kid friendly Best for Quick bite and for large parties. After dinner, we had a Lemon tea that brought back the taste of Asia which we were missing for a long time.

Order online chops half kg. But quantity was less than half full of bone and no chops at all. Try not Order again.

Lovely place and best food in derby.

We have been here many times, 10/10 would recommend. The staff are so nice and considerate, the atmosphere is great, spacious and clean. The toilets are somewhat good for what you would expect for a small restaurant in Derby and the food is phenomenal. Fairly priced and tastes great, also have boneless stuff for picky eaters like me. The chicken kerahi is banging

We been waiting over one and half and food is not served. Staff members keep saying 5,7 minutes but nothing we came from Manchester to try food from them thanks God we have not tried food.also there were many items missing

I just collected the breakfast order. Channay decent taste however naan burnt. On last hour naan were under cooked so we asked them please make sure naans are cooked properly and they burnt it. £1.50 per naan and we ordered 6.

Was over 2hours minutes late. There was hardly any meat in the curry. The paratha was luke warm. You would have thought that they would have provided some good will gesture but nothing. Shocking customer service and very small portion size.

Struggled to find an authentic good curry in Nottingham and Derby until we came across Mahers. Best spot hands down. We come every week consistently 11/10 service and food. Nidhi and meet welcome us like family

Delivered late and cold. Called shop as one omelette was missing but they said there are 2 in the box. They cut one omelette in half and said it’s 2 omelette’s. Jokers!

We had a lovely experience today here! We visited peak district and then came here for a lovely dinner. Food was amazing. We ordered the tawa for 4 people and it was great! Perfect quantity, delicious flavors. Meet was very kind & her hospitality just made it better! Highly recommend

We ordered tawa one day and halwa Puri Nd paratha omelette being lahori it's very difficult to get lahori taste but I was amazed portion was so generous and tasty was just wowww specially halwa Puri was toooo too good please try that out worth of money 👍👍👍

I recently had a pleasure of dining at Mahers Tawa Grill and Karahi restaurant located in Derby,rosehill. The moment we stepped into,we were struck by its modern, clean and sophisticated decor. The service was exemplary. The female staff( named Shamroz) greeted us with a friendly smile and promptly seated us in a professional manner. The food was a delightful blend of various cuisines, specially halwa puri , and potato stuffed parathas were on point. I strongly recommend to visit the Mahers! Great hospitality👏👏

If I could rate this place more than 5 stars, then I would. This has to be my favourite places to eat from, I have been here to eat almost every week since they started doing breakfast. The food is simply exquisite and delicious, their Nihari with their variety of parathas are on point. Halwa puri and Channa is also wonderful. 100% recommend this place, food is mouth watering.

Nothing special, food was ok overall. Chops were a bit dry and masala fish was lacking spice. Wings were nice though.

Went for breakfast. Highly recommènded for taste, ambiance and price.
