Este fue un gran pequeño restaurante turco en Green Lanes que solo duró unos meses. Tuve una excelente comida aquí y el gerente y el personal fueron muy amables y amables. Lamentablemente, Magara no pudo competir con los nombres más conocidos cercanos, donde la gente hace cola afuera porque han escuchado que tal o cual restaurante es a lo que deberían ir. En lugar de permanecer en la acera durante media hora esperando para sentarse, podrían haber ido inmediatamente a la casa de al lado y haber comido bien.

Como este es un nuevo restaurante que teníamos ganas de probar su comida y servicio. Nos recibieron en la puerta y aparece una mesa. El servicio fue rápido y los camareros eran muy agradables. Incluso recomendaron opciones del menú. Pedimos un plato especial de kebab, que era uno de los mejores que hemos probado. La carne estaba bien cocinado y servido junto con meze y pan de muy buen gusto. El ambiente también fue muy agradable y diferente a los Harringey. Había un poco de música turca de fondo y la decoración fue diseñada como una cueva. En general, una experiencia muy agradable.

Elegimos (verde) y hummus en pan pitta y semillas de sésamo (pastas borekas llena con halloumi) y todo estaba muy rico. Sabores eran realzadas por la Salsa estilo libanés zhoug (chili). Sorprendido por el nombre por encima de la puerta, sin embargo, parece más de Oriente Medio de los Balcanes.

Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious drinks, and most importantly - mouth-watering, amazing dishes! Everything we have tried there - chicken, lamb, seafood - has exceeded expectations. It is the kind of hearty, home-made food that isn't too fussy and gives you comfort. We love coming to Cilicia with friends and whenever our families come to visit London, we drag them here too! What a joy to live in Muswell Hill and just a short walk away from Cilicia, we hope this restaurant continues to thrive for decades to come!

551 Green Lanes⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hands down, the best Turkish kebab in London! I traveled all the way from central London just to experience it, and it was absolutely worth it. The kebabs were cooked to perfection—juicy, full of flavor, and served with the freshest sides. The staff were incredibly welcoming, making the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for authentic Turkish cuisine, this place is number one in London! Can’t wait to come back!
