Extremely long wait time as they forgot our order. They dint even tell us and made us wait 30 minutes to get a dosa

I had an extremely disappointing experience with my takeaway order. I placed a simple order—two starters and one naan—at the till, yet it took around 40 minutes to be ready. Meanwhile, I saw other customers come in, collect their orders, and leave while I was still waiting. The delay was completely unexplainable and unacceptable. I had to raise my voice and be firm with the staff just to get my order, which should never be necessary. The whole process felt completely disorganized, and the lack of urgency from the team was frustrating. Definitely not a place I’d return.

The food was excellent!! Thoroughly enjoyed and very reasonably priced. Our host, Sumeeth was fantastic and would highly recommend this place!

5 out of 5 for the service and the food. Truly delightful, authentic food. We had mini idly, pongal, vada and also tried the ghee podi idly, which were such a great twist to usual idly. The staff was so friendly, attentive and kind. This was our third visit and the standards remain excellent .

They charged full price for a buffet for a 5 yr old kid and said this full price is applicable from 4 yrs onwards, non-ethical business people, they should be ashamed of themselves especially the 2 females who were at the counter

One of the finest places to enjoy authentic South Indian cuisine! I truly appreciate the hardworking staff; they are always polite and exceptionally quick when it comes to taking and delivering your orders. The atmosphere is welcoming, making the dining experience even better. The quality of the food is impressive, with fresh ingredients and traditional flavors that really stand out. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, the exceptional taste and overall experience definitely make it worth the cost.

I am a frequent visitor but the experience on New year's was very pathetic one. As a special menu was served on 1st Jan 2025, we were served incomplete thali. As a north Indian i could not read what was in the thali but remembered 1 thing which was not serve. I asked for it, they said oh yes yes it's not served yet , let us get it. Then I asked them if that was everything as we don't know how to read Tamil,. The boy there said , no this is it, now everything has been served. When we finished and got up, we saw other people having some more things which was not served to us. We complained at the reception, the lady first tried to be ignorant and then tried to cover up by giving us a pack of 1 thing which we missed eating. But that was overall a bad experience.

They deserve 5 star plus for excellence in food, taste and awesome customer service.

A special thanks to Sridevi, who went above and beyond to suggest the perfect menu and plan the event. Kudos also to Sumeet, who managed the event flawlessly from start to finish. . From setting up the space to ensuring all our guests were comfortable, Sumeet was always a step ahead. The ambiance, food, and service were top-notch. Attended a party here with friends, the hall was large enough to accommodate 50 people, food was delicious, a lot of flavours and hot temperature. Always had a staff presence. Parking maybe difficult to find but use Asda's parking nearby.

Had amazing authentic South Indian breakfast buffet. Good value for money with plenty of variety and regular top ups. Highlight of the meal was soft and fluffy idlies, one of the best I've had outside India. Huge recommend for fans of south Indian food.

I was served by a very bubbly lady called Ashi. I said I wanted a Dosa. She asked me, my spice tolerance . I replied that it was quite high and she recommended the most optimum dosa I could not have asked for more. It was absolutely delicious! And then she recommended a mango Lassi drink which was wonderful too! Go to this restaurant you will not be disappointed and ask for Ashi!

I had very bad experience with recent order on veg noodles. They served me chilled and I am not sure it’s freshly made. Incident happened on14th dec 2024 at 17.10. It’s really bad experience. I would request team to review on this incident.

We went out as a sister’s day out with the kids and the staff were very attentive and helpful. One staff named Sumeet helped us find a table so that we can all be seated together. They kept coming to check on us to see if we needed any help.

This is a perfect place to have your South Indian food

The food is good here but they charge you ridiculously for extra chutney, channa and papad( with South Indian meals) I was charged 2.25 pounds for a small papad and it’s shocking I have eaten the South Indian thali in other good and affordable places but they don’t charge these kind of high charges for extra chutneys and papads

I visited Madras flavours and I must say the experience was fantastic. The food we ordered was absolutely delicious—each dish was bursting with authentic South Indian flavors. The standout for me was the Masala Dosa. It was too good! Crispy on the outside, perfectly spiced inside, and paired with flavorful chutneys and sambar. This place is a must-try! Highly recommend.

Everything tasted like home!! The moment you step in, you will not feel like you are in London anymore. The ambiance is just like any other restaurants in Chennai. The food was very tasty and authentic. Took my mom there and she loved it so much that she wanted to come the next morning! Will definitely recommend!!

Dear Madras Flavours Team, I visited your restaurant, Madras Flavours, on 24th November at approximately 2:35 PM to purchase some sweets. Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant experience with a staff member named Ana, who was at the counter. I specifically requested Ana to handle the sweets carefully as they were fresh, but she ignored my request and placed a broken piece into the box. When I pointed this out, she responded with a sarcastic expression and removed the piece without offering an apology. I calmly mentioned that there was no need to be angry, but she appeared frustrated and began arguing with me about the issue. Her behavior escalated further when she rudely asked, “Do you want to buy it or not?” and then returned the sweets to the fridge in an unprofessional manner. This interaction was not only disrespectful but also unacceptable for a customer-facing role. To address the situation, I asked for the manager, and she claimed to be the manager herself. When I requested to speak with someone senior, she stated that there was no one else available and that the owner was in India with no clear timeline for return. At this point, she even said, “If you want to complain, please do it. If you want to take me out of my job, then go ahead. I don’t care and I am not scared of anyone.” It appears Ana may be the only person managing the restaurant in the owner’s absence, which is deeply concerning given her behavior and attitude. I would strongly recommend reviewing the CCTV footage from the sweets counter at the specified time (2:35 PM) to verify this incident. This experience has left me highly disappointed, and I have decided not to return to Madras Flavours. Instead, I would prefer Crispy Dosa, just opposite your restaurant, where the staff exhibits exemplary customer service and respect. I suggest you consider sending your staff to Crispy Dosa for training on how to provide a positive customer experience. Lastly, I urge the owner or a senior representative to ensure someone is available at the restaurant to handle such situations. This lack of oversight and accountability is detrimental to your business and could result in losing more customers. I can not go anywhere else as my kids live the dosa from Madras flavours so muchh. bit mostly it's the hospitality we receive that kids love. Hot food, well prepared tea and coffee, worth for your time and spending. Easy to get location. Freshly fried hot crispy vada is my favourite . We went there for a buffet on Saturday morning.

Staying close to the shopping centre at Hounslow, visited the Madras flavor and tried the North Indian Thali. Small portions of thali, but the friendly staff obliged to get some more on request which is appreciated. Just enough for one person thoroughly enjoyed it. Would like to try it again on my next visit from India.

We hired Madras flavours to do our daughter's wedding catering. While the restaurant has a good reputation, We were looking for a specific combination of authentic Kerala cum Tamil cum Srilankan Vegetarian Sadhya style cuisine, thus it was challenging . On the wedding day Madras Flavours delivered flawlessly. No compromise on the freshness of the food, the taste and the service. Everything to a high standard. Mubarak himself suggested some unusual items for our menu, which were a big hit with our guests, for the speciality items he hired the right chefs, thus demonstrating that he would not be compromising on the taste or quality. For snacks like Medu Vada it was made fresh in the venue, thus no reheating or refrying of frozen items, coffee served was authentic south Indian style filter Kaapi ! Attention to the small details, Plus taking away the responsibility of the catering entirely onto his shoulders was hugely appreciated by our family. Mubarak the manager, and Madras flavours being in the industry for a few years, have many years of experiece behind them, yet, for us, it being a first time, He was patient enough to clarify every doubt, agree to changes, and offer us a wedding catering without any compromises, The owners of this restaurant chain take pride in their product and their attitude towards serving their customers, Its a pleasure to deal with this chain. Madras flavours, didn't just cater our wedding; they crafted a beautiful culinary experience that perfectly complemented the joyous occasion. We highly recommend them to anyone seeking an exceptional caterer for their Hindu wedding.

Madras Flavour is a typical South Indian vegetarian restaurant. I have tried many South Indian restaurants in London but this is one of the best South Indian vegetarian restaurants. You get authentic flavours and foods are fresh cooked. I have been visiting this restaurant for a long time so thought of writing a honest review. I usually eat different dosas and South Indian thali. Don’t forget to wash down your food with freshly brewed South Indian filtered coffee! My daughter usually likes non-veg but never say no to veg food here! Worth trying this place!

This is one of the best South Indian vegetarian restaurants in London. You can get authentic south Indian Madras flavors here in this restaurant. They will make even good north indian varieties. However, they have stopped serving Mirchi Bajji which was really good. Hope they will put that item back on menu soon.

The food was enjoyable, but the service left a lot to be desired. Our food arrived first, but our drinks never came until we repeatedly asked for them. Eventually, they trickled in one by one—after we had already finished our meals. I initially visited to check out their party hall, but the poor service made me reconsider.
