I had a fantastic dining experience at Madras Flavours , thanks to CH Pradeep's exceptional service. He was attentive, efficient, and ensured our orders were accurate. The food was great, and Pradeep's promptness made the entire experience seamless. Highly recommend!

Terrible staff and service, would never visit again to this or any of their other branches including Sangeetha. They got us refried left over medu vada. Bhahubali dosa was was served with 2 small bowls of Masala and sambar - we had to ask for additional (previously we were told it was unlimited masala and chutneys) which they didn't provide for 20+ mins, so we left our meal and walked away midway through our dinner.. Terrible..! (Ofcourse paid for what we order even though they didn't serve us everything as expected). After escalating the staff was clueless and made excuses.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. I was asked to make the full payment in advance, with the reason being that it was close to closing time. However, after payment, I was informed that many of the items I ordered were not available. The food that was eventually served was cold and lacked freshness. This reflects poor service and a lack of professionalism. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves both customer communication and food quality in the future.

I had my sons First Holy Communion celebration at Madras flavours Hall on the 1st floor. And I must say it was an amazing celebration. From the food to the service was amazing. SRIDEVI Event manager was accessible throughout the process. Mr. MUBARAK is kind soul to help.a special mention and heartfelt thank you to service boy JAYRAM who was so involved in the whole event who made it go so smooth for us. His service was tip notch. We always come here because of the good food. But Anna (the manager) always goes above and beyond with a big smile on her face even when it’s busiest. We come from hospitality backgrounds and admire when the service deserves a 5 star!! The food is always on point!

Subject: Unpleasant Experience at Madras Flavour Restaurant – Request for Management Attention Dear Madras Flavour Management, I am writing to express my disappointment following a visit to your High Street, Hounslow branch today, Sunday 11th May 2025, around 10:15 AM. This was my fifth consecutive week attending your breakfast buffet with my family, which until today had been a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, this visit left me deeply upset due to the unprofessional and discourteous behavior of one of your staff members, Sri Devi (wearing a pink/magenta-coloured veil). The incident occurred while I was in the process of deciding to purchase an additional buffet for myself. My spouse had praised the food, and after I tried a bite from my child’s plate, I agreed to buy another buffet. Before I could do so, Sri Devi approached us and said, “Please next time don’t do like this and don’t come to us,” in front of nearby customers — a comment that felt both humiliating and accusatory. I immediately proceeded to pay for one more buffet and even paid extra for my small child, who barely ate. But the embarrassment and public shaming were completely unnecessary and deeply hurtful. To make matters worse, while I was trying to talk to Sri Devi, she received a personal phone call on her mobile, interrupted our conversation, and walked away to attend the call. I waited for about 1–2 minutes and then approached her again, but she showed no interest in continuing the discussion. Instead, I overheard her speaking to another colleague in Telugu, telling them to deal with me and make sure I paid. What she didn’t realize is that I understand Telugu, so I clearly understood her dismissive and transactional attitude. This interaction made me feel disrespected, ignored, and singled out — especially as someone who wears a hijab, I cannot help but wonder if selective behaviour or unconscious bias was involved. Additionally, I want to highlight the lack of proper service and hygiene: • Buffet trays were empty for extended periods. • No hand towels at the handwashing area. • Toilets lacked cleanliness and basic supplies. I urge the management to carry out surprise inspections and to offer staff training on respectful customer service, professional communication, and cultural sensitivity. Until now, I had rated your restaurant 5 stars and regularly recommended it to others. Sadly, based on today’s experience, I will be revising those reviews and advising friends and family accordingly.

I have to travel a long way to get here and and its worth the effort. Their South Indian filter coffee is exceptional and I always get two rounds. I think I have tried almost every Dosa on their menu and have never been disappointed. The food is true athentic South Indian cusine and is totally yum!.

I had a very disappointing experience with the food. It was stale and poorly prepared, which has led to abdominal pain since last night. It seems like they were serving leftovers. I ordered simple items like idli and plain rice, nothing fancy, and this is what I got. I would not recommend this place.

Selling bad quality of sweets. Today I bought some jalebi which straight away I threw in bin.smell and test was horrible.

Among the best spots to savor real South Indian food! I sincerely appreciate the diligent employees; they are consistently courteous and incredibly prompt in processing and delivering your goods. The meal experience is enhanced by the friendly setting. With its classic flavors and use of fresh ingredients, the meal is of exceptional quality. They remain open till somewhat late at night. Buffets on the weekends are rather popular. really crowded on the weekends.

Being Pakistani, It was different for me having a korma taste without meat, paratha was comparable to lacha paratha in Pakistan but was made in vegetable ghee which was good in taste.

Our order and review : Medu vada - It was too heated which make it taste like burned and it was too oily. Butter Masala dosa : Ideally dosa should be crispy as it is Butter but it was like chapati/ roti Vegetable noodles : Worst. No sauces. No spices. It was just boiled noodles string fried in lots of oil with few vegetables

Authentic Indian food, best restaurant in Hounslow ever found with genuinely taste.

Their food usually is good every time I visited in the past but today after visiting and only eating the Bombay thali , my stomach has been cramping with sharp pains none stop. Me and my partner had none stop diarrhoea as soon as we got home. Save yourself the pain and eat somewhere else. The servers have been amazing throughout the service every time I visited.

It was quite disheartening to experience a sudden and unexplained change in policy regarding charges for young children at Madras Flavour Restaurant (Hounslow). After being a loyal customer for years and consistently being told that children under five eat for free, it was surprising and frankly frustrating to be informed on my recent breakfast visit that this was no longer the case. The new rule, apparently stating that only children under three eat free, feels like an arbitrary and opportunistic way to extract more money from customers, especially considering how little a child under five typically consumes. This inconsistent application and seemingly self-serving adjustment of their policies reflects poorly on the management's approach to customer relations and their rigid adherence to rules, even when it defies common sense and previous assurances.

The restaurant is cool and good service provided. The food tastes good here and on dot service. We had idly and coffee here, which made us happy to see a south indian restaurant in High Street, Hounslow, UK.

I went in madras flavour 1 of April 2025. in Hounslow high street around 7:00pm. I have ordered saying 2 parotha kurma and 1 masala tea. Waited for order and I was served with chapati kurma. The guy who served me said no u have ordered chapti kurma. I was trying to tell him, that I have ordered parotha kurma. He was not accepting his mistake. I was very disappointed as we have came there from out of London. He was just blaming us of our mistakes and showing his attitude I explained him there lots of difference saying chapti and parotha but he just kept quite at that time. Just regretting we had went there. Will never visit there again. Very impolite staff and making the customer wrong. Definitely need to give some training how to be polite and to apologise when doing mistakes. As he didn't even try to say sorry. Very bad and very disappointed.

Tried Madras Thali, Veg Noodles, Coffee and Buttermilk. Thali was okay nothing special, just a standard taste. Veg noodles were quite good but a bit oily 🍜🔥. Coffee wasn’t hot enough ☕❄️ and the buttermilk didn’t have much flavor 🥛😕. Overall, I’d give the experience 3/5—decent food but some things could be better.

Disappointed with the food quality! The ambience is nice, and the staff are friendly and efficient. Service was quick, which was a plus. However, the food was a huge letdown. The Poori Masala was disappointing—the poori was fresh, but the masala tasted like it had been defrosted from frozen and reheated, which completely ruined the experience. The Ghee Podi Idly was even worse—there was no ghee at all, just regular cooking oil, which felt like a blatant compromise on quality. If you’re charging premium prices, customers expect fresh and authentic food, not shortcuts and cost-cutting tricks. Definitely not coming back for frozen, reheated food.

Pongal is a divine Prasad, it was delivered with the same divinity in Madras Flavours. You can’t get such a tasty pongal with so much flavours of chennai, in fact I don’t think even in chennai we will get this taste. Dosas are always prepared with its own qualities , distinct characters, uniqueness according to different types of dosas made. Had tamarind rice (traditionally it’s called puliyodharai) amazing texture, taste. Generally back home temple’s puliyodharai has a divine taste and texture, u can get that at madras flavours.. I can keep writing about different menus and its tastes. Overall, madras flavours deserves 100/100 and the staff are very friendly, owner Mubarak is such a down to earth, approachable, extremely humble and always had a commitment to serve good food for his customers. I would recommend everyone to eat at madras flavours and enjoy Chennai’s taste and hospitality.

The inside was very clean and the food was brilliant and the staff was super friendly and helpful and kind the best hotel I have ever been to there is this nice lady that gave me a special dosa cone shapped and I loved it i definitely recommend it and it's not all about staff how clean it was it was about the food it was so tasty so good they are the best hotel in Hounslow when you come here you have to visit this place and the staff was so helpful and ashi was super nice she is the one who made me a big cone dosa super nice and it's cheap but that doesn't matter it matters about the taste and i recommend everything just to say shout out to ashi .

Being a regular customer I've been complaining about the cutlery unwashed properly which can be seen greasy clearly when poured water into it. Please take it seriously and report to the kitchen porter.

Weekend buffet is super with loads of South Indian food varieties and Dosa served is delicious with Sambar and chutneys. The seating lounge is house full during this mornings.

Holy Indian cows! Super South Indian restaurant serving food that tastes like you are actually sitting in Madras. The all you can eat breakfast (8 to 11am) is a steal at £9. My new favourite value for money Indian restaurant. Namaste!

Bad service. Waited for 15 min, no one even bothered to give the menu. The restaurant was half empty. Still no one bothered. Even when leaving after complaining to reception they didnt really care

We visited this Incredible help yourself vegetarian for Sunday breakfast at about 9am. We were welcomed with friendly smiles and paid at the door £9pp. Wow! We loaded our silver tray anyhow we liked. We didn’t know the items by name - but I will do my best to describe the spread. There were fantastic breads of various textures, 3 curries - all very tasty, some sweeter porridge textured eats, a crispy donut shaped delicious savoury, amazing chutneys (coconut, tomato and peanut), a chilli sauce to put on top of an idly. Tea and coffee unlimited, as well as water at the table. Best of all was non-stop delivery of freshly made potato dosa to each table. Everything was delicious. A perfect breakfast cheering up a rainy Sunday morning.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with my takeaway order. I placed a simple order—two starters and one naan—at the till, yet it took around 40 minutes to be ready. Meanwhile, I saw other customers come in, collect their orders, and leave while I was still waiting. The delay was completely unexplainable and unacceptable. I had to raise my voice and be firm with the staff just to get my order, which should never be necessary. The whole process felt completely disorganized, and the lack of urgency from the team was frustrating. Definitely not a place I’d return.

5 out of 5 for the service and the food. Truly delightful, authentic food. We had mini idly, pongal, vada and also tried the ghee podi idly, which were such a great twist to usual idly. The staff was so friendly, attentive and kind. This was our third visit and the standards remain excellent .

One of the finest places to enjoy authentic South Indian cuisine! I truly appreciate the hardworking staff; they are always polite and exceptionally quick when it comes to taking and delivering your orders. The atmosphere is welcoming, making the dining experience even better. The quality of the food is impressive, with fresh ingredients and traditional flavors that really stand out. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, the exceptional taste and overall experience definitely make it worth the cost.

They charged full price for a buffet for a 5 yr old kid and said this full price is applicable from 4 yrs onwards, non-ethical business people, they should be ashamed of themselves especially the 2 females who were at the counter

I am a frequent visitor but the experience on New year's was very pathetic one. As a special menu was served on 1st Jan 2025, we were served incomplete thali. As a north Indian i could not read what was in the thali but remembered 1 thing which was not serve. I asked for it, they said oh yes yes it's not served yet , let us get it. Then I asked them if that was everything as we don't know how to read Tamil,. The boy there said , no this is it, now everything has been served. When we finished and got up, we saw other people having some more things which was not served to us. We complained at the reception, the lady first tried to be ignorant and then tried to cover up by giving us a pack of 1 thing which we missed eating. But that was overall a bad experience.

Attended a party here with friends, the hall was large enough to accommodate 50 people, food was delicious, a lot of flavours and hot temperature. Always had a staff presence. Parking maybe difficult to find but use Asda's parking nearby.

Very delicious south Indian food

Had amazing authentic South Indian breakfast buffet. Good value for money with plenty of variety and regular top ups. Highlight of the meal was soft and fluffy idlies, one of the best I've had outside India. Huge recommend for fans of south Indian food.

I was served by a very bubbly lady called Ashi. I said I wanted a Dosa. She asked me, my spice tolerance . I replied that it was quite high and she recommended the most optimum dosa I could not have asked for more. It was absolutely delicious! And then she recommended a mango Lassi drink which was wonderful too! Go to this restaurant you will not be disappointed and ask for Ashi!
