Absolutely delicious! The food was full of flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. Every dish we tried was a hit — fresh ingredients, great portions, and traditionhal. Highly recommend for anyone who loves Portuguese food. Friendly, english speaking staff!

Cold sandwich, the fillings are so little compare the the bread they provide,this place is more for taxi drivers, it’s their own lounge while waiting for passengers.

Excellent, little Portuguese restaurant on the back street near Heathrow. Very good bacalao with salad and roast potatoes. Highly recommended as an alternative for the bland hotel dinners nearby.

Absolutely wonderful find tucked away in side street not far from terminal 5 Food was plentiful and great value for money tastes lush nothing was expensive we had 3 coarse n bottle wine Make sure you book a taxi back we struggled but again owner ordered an Uber for us cheap as chips half price using the one from hotel

Absolutely lovely place. Great coffee, great desserts , great food. The staff is really nice , helpful and friendly, and you could also find a parking spot or two available. There's a convenience store behind it and most things you don't even know you need or want. Definitely recommend and will use again

This place is such a hidden gem. Each bite of food was better than the last. The customers were friendly, the staff were friendly, and I was happy with the beef tongue dish I chose. The flan was also fantastic! Close to Heathrow airport.

It was like a cafe tucked away in the neighbourhood. We were just staying nearby waiting to catch a flight in the Heathrow Airport the next day. Instead of just a quick fix we wanted a nice sumptuous last dinner before leaving so we were looking for cafes and restaurant nearby with good reviews. I never had Portugese food so I cannot make any comparison but I love all the food I was served. We ordered a starter garlic clam, steak and fried cod. The portion was large, too large for me but I still finished up every thing because it was very good. And the price was really reasonable as well. Would definitely return for more!

The food quality is very good, the attention is good, but what you ay for what they put on the plate is excessive for that class of local because is not a high stand restaurant either. Even not being the worse, of course that not, is not a very good deal

Stuck at an airport hotel with gluggy 20 pound pasta, we busted out and walked here. So glad we did. My grandma is Italian, not Portuguese, but if she was, this is the food she’d make. Straight up, down home cooking with a bottle of decent Portuguese wine from a surprisingly extensive list, while watching the early autumn sunset over London = heaven. Cab drivers out front, fabulous pastel de nata for dessert, and an old school Donkey Kong machine leave you feeling transported to a forgotten corner of Portugal. It’s the holiday you’re getting ready for, right in your backyard. Excelente.

Great little slice of Portugal a stone´s throw from Heathrow. Not very large, but there is a restaurant, and a cafe bar, and you can eat in either. I've been several times, and everything was excellent.

I was traveling from San Francisco to Luxembourg and had the misfortune of getting stuck in Heathrow overnight due to my connecting flight cancelation. This restaurant is 3 blocks from Leonardo Heathrow Hotel where I was staying, so only a 4 minute walk. I dined in at the restaurant (opposite side of take out counter) and had the most delicious grilled octopus salad. It's a cold salad with raw onions, tomatoes, red and yellow bell peppers sitting in a generous dressing of olive oil vinaigrette nicely seasoned. The octopus was tender and moist and the combination of the ingredients' flavors and textures was perfect. I also ate the grilled sea bass (served as a whole fish) which was also very good, but the grilled octopus salad really stood out as unique and excellent. The restaurant is not fancy but pleasant and its customers seemed local and were of several different nationalities. Service was also good. My travel misfortune resulted in a fortunate dining experience. I'm glad I discovered this place. Any time I am in London, I plan to stop here to eat for a great meal.

If you stay in Heathrow, this is a restaurant you must visit at least once! I stopped by this place by chance due to a flight delay, but it was the most delicious octopus dish I had during my 35-day trip to Europe. Even when I go to local restaurants in Portugal and Spain, I rarely remember eating such a delicious meal! I highly recommend trying the octopus dish and steak! I would like to visit again if I go to Heathrow. The owner is also kind! Portuguese TV was playing on the TV in the store, which made me trust it even more. The most enjoyable meal in London!

food is well cooked service fast but if sit outside other people people will be smoking while you eating . there's a shop above with nice portugueses products.

While staying at a hotel near Heathrow Airport Terminals 2 and 3, I wanted a change of scenery, so I searched for a restaurant and found it within a 5-minute walk. We shared the octopus salad you saw in the photo as an appetizer, and ordered the grilled sea bass as a main course. The octopus salad had a very sour dressing, but it was delicious and had the expected taste. Although the sea bass is small, it's a whole fish with plenty of volume, grilled to just the right degree, and delicious. I enjoyed it with a slightly sparkling wine called Vino Verde.

I don't really have much to say about our experience here. As soon as we walked into the restaurant I could see that the place looks run down. Paint peeling off the walls and it was really dusty. The service was awkward but the drinks were nice. We ordered a chorizo starter which was actually one of the good things about our experience here. But the beef steak, egg and fries I had ordered was just awful. The steak was the saddest grey I'd ever eaten and tasted a bit funky. The egg was clearly cooked a very high heat but everyone knows to cook fried eggs on a low heat...on top of that, the whole dish was swimming in what I thought to be a mustard sauce rather than a oil sespool of water. I'm sorry but this just was not worth it.

Food is good and service is not bad as well. However due to the broadcast of European cup football, there are people smoking inside the restaurant, that’s not too good experience for me

Nice spot in a good location near Heathrow and adjacent hotels. Pasteis de Nada was great, good Americano coffee, and the breakfast sandwiches and English Breakfast were great as well. Cheap and no-fuss. Neat atmosphere and would go again.

Best Portuguese restaurant near Hayes/Heathrow/Hounslow. I always go for Espresso. They have a shop upstairs with Portuguese items. Really a little gem.

This was a chance find... but what a find! We were in Hyatt Place near Heathrow, just for a night before the early flight the next morning. Bored with the hotel food, we took a chance on this one. The menu on Google is conflicting, so called the restaurant. They answered well. Lots of fresh seafood on offer, some not very common. We walked over, about 15 minutes from Hyatt. The ambience is cosy, people are nice... not very chummy but polite and with a smile. The house wines are great value for money. Beer choice is limited. Wine choice is also limited but adequate. Food takes the top spot. Both grilled sardines and squids were very nice. Sardines grilled to perfection, squid was a tad overcooked and chewy. Prices are very reasonable and the service is quick. You cannot go wrong here.

Great relaxed little eatery that serves really good quality Portuguese cuisine. Reasonably priced and with good size portions too whilst it may be a little out of the way it is worth finding. The flavours really reminded me of a summer spent in the Algarve when I was younger. Great steaks cooked to perfection. And the fish was authentic and tasty. I highly recommend this one. Give it a try.

Restaurants near the hotel are reasonably priced and the food is delicious. Wine and beer are also recommended. Octopus and grilled steak are also highly recommended.

We were just in the hotel down the street looking for some food. This place wasn't at all what we expected. The food was amazing. This is the place you want to find. Kinda run down from the outside and you wouldn't think twice to stop here. But we are so glad we did. The staff were so nice and the food was better than anything we found in the city center. Plus there is a nice park for the kids to play in right across the street. 💯

For those who are Portuguese living far away from Portugal and missing the authentic Portuguese cuisine, this is the best place to go!

We thought we had struck gold until we tasted the food. Chewy inedible pork floating in wine along with the salad. Suckling pig was just fatty off cuts, fit for the dog. We were really disappointed. I'm sorry to say but next time we will eat in the airport hotel.

What a wonderful surprise! Didn't fancy bland hotel grub, so had a look and found this wonderful quirky Portuguese restaurant. Delicious traditional well priced food.
