Please avoid this it is the worst evening I have had out for a long time. The food was way way way below standard. We paid £35 each for a tiny bottle of what was supposed to be Gin but tasted like dishwater...... We waited over 20 mins for a drink and had to ask 3 times to be served!!! It was not the characters fault they tried there best but way substandard offer to customers. the food was terrible a couple of sandwiches with indistinguishable contents and the cakes were even worse. I am sure they cannot continue to advertise this and get away with charging so much.......

We purchased tickets via Feverup.com for this event. The time of the event changed which meant no one could make it and we asked for a full refund. They refused saying the tickets were non refundable and can only offer us a voucher to use in the next 60 days. This isn't helpful when it is a group of people making a booking. We are now out of pocket £117 because the customer service is so shocking. It is illegal to not offer a refund for an event you have changed. Shameful!

I attended this event on Saturday 4th July for.my birthday and I have never been so disapointed in an event ever. How they are getting away with charging high prices for this 3 times a day without been shut down I do not know. The food was soggy and not enough to feed a small child. The cocktails were watery and weak, the waiters had their hands all over the rims of the glasses, some cocktails we had to share and the entertainment if you can call it that was a cross between a poor unfunny pantomine and a bad childs party. We nearly walked out it was so bad but we were not near the door so we would have been spotted. Most people in the room had no idea what was going on..it was boring and like they were making it up on the spot. If it comes to your town please do not waste your time or your money. Dreadful event, dreadful information about timings and the event on the website and poor customer service before the event.

Went with my two daughters to this event and I am at a loss as to how the company who staged this are getting away with charging £35 per ticket for absolute and utter drivel. Goodness knows what the actors were talking about but the script was ridiculous . The cocktails were utter rubbish and tasted like tepid water and the nibbles were a joke. The set was ok and the hats we wore were a bit of fun but that was it . The event was worse than a dreadful kiddies tea party . We had to make up a story by all contributing one word …. Unbelievable. The company who stages it must be laughing all the way to the bank . Absolutely dreadful .

I definitely DO NOT recommend this. The entertainment was amateur worse than a children's birthday party, the drinks were horrendous and the food was inedible. What an absolute rip off at £35 per head, even the room they had hired looked like a children's nursery it was embarrassingly bad. Don't waster your money!!

We paid £70 for two tickets. Thought this would be something different to do when away for a weekend in Manchester. The food put on our table looked old so we didn't touch it. The arrival drink a gin and tonic which was ok i suppose. The entertainment started and was absolutely terrible, you get better entertainment at a child' party. The first "cocktail" came and was basically gin and tonic in a tea pot, poured out it looked awful, no ice etc. a small shot of sambuca was there too to share!!! We didnt touch any of this drink. Grabbed our bags and walked out. I would avoid buying tickets for this event. This was not worth £5 each let alone £35. Never again.

My lovely friend treated me and another friend to this experience and needless to say we were honestly expecting something much better for the ticket price. The drinks and nibbles were OK, but it really was like a GCSE drama final exam performance. Not sure any of the guests knew what on earth was going on, the show was confusing and not remotely entertaining, with unnecessary use of swear words. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy an f bomb as much as the next person, but it was just all a bit weird and angry. Mad Hatter? More like needs to work through their anger management hatter. However, the venue, waiting staff, and costumes were really good. Although the seating left a lot to be desired. Tiny little foot stools to sit on for the majority. I'd recommend going to Richmond Tea Rooms instead!

Think pantomime vibes: audience involvement, singing, silly sense of humour. So if this does not appeal to you, wouldn't recommend as it was quite cheesy. But if you love that sort of thing then would encourage you to go! Drinks were great, very interesting. Food wasn't amazing and we were only given 1 plate for 4 of us so questioned a waiter who said this was correct (even though we could see from other tables that it was 1 plate between 2) so asked another waiter and we were served another plate. Good COVID safety measures. Big warning: You don't get to keep the hat! The website gave us the impression that we were but I assume a lot of people complained about this as they have now changed the wording on the website to clarify this.

Totally concur with the other reviews about this. Don’t go. It was like being at Butlins but more expensive. Bad drinks, terrible ‘food’ and awful cabaret. It’s advertised as an ‘immersive cocktail event’ but it’s like being at a school play. Just so rubbish.

**Manchester*** Mad hatters gin and tea party This was an outing for our birthdays we bought 4 tickets at £35 each absolute rip off. We got 3 drinks one of which was a gin glass filled totally with crushed ice so couldn’t taste any gin at all ! The others were so weak was like drinking a soft drink. We got one small cracker with pesto some dried up onion and half a cherry tomato with a cube of dried up brownie. I honestly felt like it was a wind up was expecting someone to jump out saying it was a big joke, It was like being at a bad kids party with 3 dressed up grown ups who just kept saying ‘Alice Alice who the F*%k is Alice? I can’t believe this company are getting away with charging these prices it’s a disgrace !! DO NOT GO SAVE YOUR MONEY ITS AWFUL !!!!!!

**********This is about the Manchester Mad Hatters Gin and Tea Party************ Absolute rip off. Awkward embarrassing and the worst thing I’ve ever been to. You can go and watch a musical for £13. This was £35 and a shambles. Actors were like school kids. The dormouse worked so hard to keep up spirits and outshone the others by far. A cross between a cruise ship, nursing home and children’s birthday party entertainment.... just pure awkward cringe. Food was 1 cracker and 1 stale brownie the size of my thumb. Drinks were weak and unpleasant. Don’t go!!!!

Cons: 1. there were crumbs on the table which means they didn’t clean the table after the previous guest. GROSS. 2. The appetizers were more like bites and the little triangle sandwich was stale. 3. Different bagels to choose from, I opted for plain. Liked that I was able to customise my order with ease and no faff - I had the Vegan Cream Cheese Stack, but with regular cream cheese, and tomato instead of avocado. The bagel was toasted and the whole thing was fresh & tasty! Would visit again.

I have tried to book a table here for two weeks now. I have emailed three times and called ten times. Not once have I received anything back. Awful customer service. I had a few questions before I booked, and I was a party of 10. They have lost out on generous tips and money. Will be looking to spend our money elsewhere. If you can't even answer the phone or email god knows how slow, you are as a business when you're in the restaurant. I dread to think.
