Great Full English (“Full Monty”). Great sausage, poached eggs cooked to perfection (less keen on the tomatoes). Nice coffee. Great service. Nice outdoor terrace / courtyard at the rear. Cakes looked good but didn’t have any.

A lovely little cafe! I visit The Village Kitchen regularly with my little one and highly recommend. The service is great, very friendly and helpful staff, the food is delicious and I’m yet to find somewhere that does a better hot chocolate!

Coming to this pub was our second attempt. We like craft beer and we tend to visit different pubs with such options. The prices of some beers are shocking and have to admit that it is not as worthy. I had better elsewhere for a better price. A dark stout (if I'm not wrong) tastes like diluted with water. The pub has definitely a unique atmosphere. It feels a bit stuffed there with no air circulation at all. We might come back, but it won't be our first option on the time-out.

A lovely experience. Very friendly and efficient staff in an attractive setting. We both had garlic spinach on toast with smoked pancetta and mushrooms. We added a poached egg. It was all delicious and just a little different. Just the right amount of food and price was right as well. Must go back in the evening and have a full meal. Thank you.
