Food was lovely. A little bit out the way . But I new where it was had been when it was Royal Blossom

Decent food but have lost count of the number of times they are open but don’t answer the phone to take orders.

We ordered a delivery tonight and wished we hadn’t. Dinner was nearly cold and had to microwave it for 3 minutes to make it edible. Chips were awful, obviously reheated and not appealing in the least. My husbands chicken curry was starting to conjeal as it was so cold. I’m afraid after tonight’s disaster we won’t be having anymore takeaways from lychees

Took my wife for lunch as had a takeaway here before. The food is beautiful and can highly recommend

Visiting Ayr,called in with family ,we were blew away. Food was sublime as was the polite,knowledgeable and welcoming service. Dining room had a relaxed ambience and was scrupulously clean. Many thanks to all at Lychee from Northern Ireland.

Went in after work for sweet n sour chicken balls fried rice and chips and it was rubbish balls and chips were reheated went straight in the bin won't be back

I wasn’t in the restaurant, we had a delivery to our home, my more than fussy hubby was pleased with the food and that says something I really enjoyed the dinner too, delivery was when they estimated a time, food was warm, will order in again.

I love going to lychees the food is fantastic and the staff are all lovely and very helpful.

This is a hidden gem in Ayr and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.thus restaurant is spotless and the food is absolutely amazing . Lovely hard working staff too chicken curry and the king prawn noodles .. perfectly cooked and very delicious..well done 👍..

Had xmas dinner it was not good. The pigs in blankets were burned and solid..there was no jug of water on tables also had soup to start asked for crusty bread said there was none..not impressed would not recomend xmas dinner here at £58pp.shocking.

Our favourite oriental restaurant in the area. Service is not quick but the food is worth waiting for. 2/3 course menu during the week is great value for money and portions are still huge.

Food was amazing but waited ages for starters then again for main, kitchen staff was the problem only 3 tables filled wouldn't have waited had it been busy far to long ,floor staff were excellent no issues with them 🙈

Seven adults and four children for a birthday meal. We were in a side room which was handy. The food was excellent and the service very attentive, although a wee bit slow at times, but you can't expect the food to be cooked properly in a hurry. Parked in the car park opposite although it might be busier during daytime.

Cannot speak for the dining experience. We booked a table for 4:45pm, 4 adults 2 kids. When we arrived we were asked to wait and served drinks. There was a huge party all trying to pay individually. We waited until 5:25pm and left. The huge party caused most of the problem however the staff were completely ignoring us. Another party also walked in and got seated straight away without booking! I had a 1 year old and a 4 year old getting extremely fed up by the point we left. Really terrible experience.

Love here staff is amazing I love the Malaysian satay and sticky toffee pudding 😋 recommend for birthdays etc

Phoned for a delivery took them 2hours to phone me back to say driver stuck in traffic in Coylton, very poor, wondered why they were not fussed about getting paid over the phone? Now I know that their delivery service is a shambles

Me and the missus were at lychees tonight and we both really enjoyed it, the food was excellent, service was great and the staff were very helpful and friendly, only problem l had was the cubicle door had no lock on it and the door would'nt close properly, apart from that it was great and we'll definetly be back 10/10 👌

Excited to order a take a way snack. Chicken and potato skins were superb. The noodles however were burnt, not well done but burnt.!

Food was delicious, hosts were wonderful! Very kindly handled a phoned in prosecco request from friends, catered for us as the last diners of the day, called us a cab to get home. Couldn't fault it! Particular mention for our waiter Brendan, who was just super accommodating.

Very good chinese. Been here now for the 3rd time visiting from EK and have to say its the best sit in out of the 3 in the town centre by a country mile. Old school goodness in terms of curry, sweet n sour, fried rice has excellent taste and ice cream is delicious. Better than what we have to offer in EK

We enjoyed a delicious 3-course meal at Lychees tonight, celebrating family birthdays, and everything was perfect. All of our food was fantastic and staff were so friendly. Highly recommended and such excellent value! 5☆ from us all 👍

Overall food was good friendly staff negative points for me are I had to ask for menus and to ask for a drinks felt I had to keep asking for things service was bit slow to other chinese's I have been in

I chose from the good value set menu. Started with salt & chilli potato skins. For main it was Shanghai chicken with fried rice. Finished off with banana fritter. Accompanied by a chilled bottle of Tsingtao. Total cost £16.70 (at this time of writing). I would recommend a visit, if like me, you've not tried it.

Food was delicious. Many dishes can be made gluten free. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate.

Hadn’t booked and when we arrived it was really busy. Our server asked us to have a seat and found us a table within five minutes. Despite being busy, we were served quickly and in a friendly manner. The food was tasty and the servings were plentiful. We both had two courses and shared a bottle of wine for under £50. Definitely well worth it. Will return soon

First time at Lychees and it was very enjoyable. First impression on entry was the amount of space in the restaurant, no tables overlooking one another, the welcome was right and the food was first class and good value. This was our anniversary and we will definitely return.

Made a mistake with order due to busy Friday night, went to pick up and brought home and was wrong, phoned up and very good customer service and offered to get the correct meal delivered as soon as possible. Great service

Bought 2 portions of chips and gravy and the first one we opened was full to the top with chips and a decent bit of gravy but the taste of the gravy was disgusting and tasted more like sweet ad sour but the colour of gravy. We opened 2nd one and I've had to take picture as I can hardly believe it myself. Please look at this picture to believe what I see. I wont ever be back to Lychees in Ayr. PERIOD!!!!!!!! £8.60 for 2 chips n gravy..

Fantastic service, the young staff members are so polite and kind, nicest staff I've ever met. The place is peaceful, Wednesday night quite quiet but suits me. Food is excellent value really, we had the 3 course for only £13, it's served hot and fast, this place is no nonsense, efficient and tasty, just what you want, but with nice touches like the misty water feature and giant fish tank!

They really bent over backwards to ensure they could cater to gluten intolerance. Only gave it 4 stars because there aren't actually a lot of GF options, and the 'GF' marker on the menu doesn't actually stand for Gluten Free which was confusing.

Very nice place they take covid very seriously with plenty of Space between the tables. Do good meal deals two course £9.95 three courses £10.95 at the time I went 16th June 2021. Food was quick and piping hot tested good aswell. They sat us next to the fish tank and our baby loved watching the fish swim about. Would go again went again on 07/05/22 service was good, the server put us next to the fish tank for our toddler to look at nowhich was nice of them. This time ordered off the a la cart. Food was much bigger portions than the savers menu. I had the pork belly in Singapore sauce, was surprised with how much meat I had. Girlfriend was happy with her meal. Only thing was the baby chair was still dirty from last use. Worth a wee visit if you can't choose where to go.

We’re staying at Craig Tara and wanted a Chinese takeout, read some bad reviews which I think are garbage. The food was brilliant! Best take away we’ve had in a long time. Very fresh and tasty.
