Purley is not short of cafes and there are several good ones but none closer to the station than this. They have a good range of breakfast items, some of them unusual and there’s plenty for vegetarians. Reasonable prices and quick and efficient service.

Lots of choices for breakfast. I had the veggie omlette with goats cheese, spinach and avocado. Highly recommended. Served with a side salad and dressing. Great latte too. Good value and two minutes walk from bus stops. One small suggestion, offer choice of brown or white toast with butter or spread. Value, location and ambiance 10/10

We visited today 23/05 for breakfast The flat white & the tea were both good although they didn't have our first choice of decaf tea We ordered the "eggs Benedict" & the Full English The full English looked good but the food was in the main luke warm , the bacon was hard reheated in the micowave ? The sausage was a horrible cheap one and the only saving grace was the fried eggs & mushrooms The Eggs Benedict once again had cheap ingrediants the ham was a small round thin slice and was a very disappointing . The overall look of the place looks good & the service level was also acceptable but the food was sub-standard

We had a very nice breakfast there recently. The food portions were perfect, and the prices were really good too. Great breakfast at great prices, you can’t go wrong. I definitely recommend

Haven’t eaten from the lunch menu here, have only eaten the cakes and had coffee but each time we go the same lady serves us, she is friendly and the coffee and cakes have been lovely. More enjoyable than some of the commercial chains eg Costa and service feels more personal. I have only ever been when it’s been quiet and it’s a nice, warm place to sit and chat.

Nice clean restaurant for a really good breakfast. Good choice of food and always cooked just right. Not your greasy spoon, so if you want a breakfast in a nice environment, this is your place.

Visited the Lupita Coffee House in Purley a few weeks back to meet up with a business friend. The place is warm and welcoming, a good range of snacks, pastries and decent lunchtime food. All at very reasonable prices and with friendly service. If you're out and about in Purley, treat yourself to a bit of indulgence on morning or afternoon. Recommended.

I visit this place twice a day on my lunch breaks. Love sandwiches here. You can create your own sandwich as well, and there's lot of topings to choose from. Add a latte to that, which is really smooth and you got tasty lunch for a fiver. Definitely recommend.

I popped in today to have a quick lunch. Opted for a Panini and a large coffee. The coffee was weak and the Panini was average and served just on its own with no garnish. I thought I might have had a handful of salad or coleslaw as a garnish for the price - £6.60. Although the staff were friendly enough and the place was clean I doubt I'll be back again.

Purley is desperate for a really good coffee shop. I really wanted this to be it, but it wasnt. Not terrible, but definitely not good enough. I'd encourage the owners and staff to visit somewhere like the Teapot or Canvas and Cream in Forest Hill. That is the standard you should be aiming for. Service was fine, but coffee was spilt on the saucer and had no crema on top. They need some tasty paninis and a bit of flexibility. I asked for sun dried tomatoes in my sandwich but because it wasn't on the menu she couldn't do it, even though there were sun dried tomatoes there! Please improve and I will be back every week.

Well situated in Purley High Street, friendly staff and service. Ideal for me as wi fi available and good choice of food and drinks. A nice change from high street chains, nice atmosphere and I would definitely recommend it.

Lupita Coffee House is a breath of fresh air and a welcome change from the likes of Starbucks etc. The staff are friendly and efficient, the cafe is clean and bright. A delicious menu awaits you with a very tempting sweet counter. The cappuccino in particular is fantastic! Wi-fi provision is a nice extra for the customers. Lupita Coffee House is a great addition to Purley - for those who work or shop there or for people from other local areas who are passing through.

Like the reviewer below, my boyfriend and I were impressed with the sandwich menu at Lupita. Unfortunately, we were less impressed with the sandwiches themselves. The 'super club' consisted of nothing more than a few pieces of chicken with some overcooked, microwaved bacon. The other sandwich we ordered, the chickpea salad, was advertised as containing avocado. When it was served without, we asked for some to be put on, but the result was avocado that was so unripe it had the texture of a crunchy carrot. The chickpea salad itself was very tasty but the crunchy avocado (and lack of promised 'leafy greens') made it a disappointment overall, as was the super club. There was also a long wait for our food while other people who had entered the cafe after us were attended to first. It is a nice space and certainly has potential but they will need to sort out the issues with the food in order for that potential to be met.
