Luigi's Italian Delicatessen in Kensington and Chelsea

I was very impressed by their extensive selection of goods and their friendliness but i was astounded at the bill they presented me for the following: 1 half of a cheese (perhaps Caciocavallo or Caciocampana) about 1kg. 150g of proscituo crudo 1 packet of cantucci 1 packet of amaretti I was charged £48.00 for this selection. I didn't question it at the time but it did seem to be extortionate for such s small selection.

What's not to like about this place. Amazing daily fresh made dishes, one of the best Italian grocery specialty items in the vicinity and limited but good fresh produce.

Been coming to this part of town for over 30 yrs and only stumbled across this place today. What a find! Amazing Italian food to takeaway and a real treasure trove of wine, cheese and meats . Will definitely come back!

This isn't a restaurant, this is a true deli! If you are staying anywhere between Kensington and Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham boroughs of London and you are cooking in, or looking for take-away snacks, looking for side dishes or meats, and looking for great Italian food options, including wines, then make you way to Luigi's on Fulham Road. Not inexpensive, but they have pretty much everything you could want or need to make most any truly Italian dish. They aren't inexpensive, and it is not a large space, but it is packed floor-to-ceiling and they are happy to help. Things aren't pre-packaged, you tell them how much you want and they specially seal it, fresh, on-site.
