Have been popping into Lucy’s for the past 18 months and love it. A very independent place that’s a world away from corporate blandness. Not had everything off the menu but the food we’ve had has always been enjoyable to eat. The owner and staff are great and friendly. Went into Lucy’s recently to escape the “chaos” that seems to be descending and wasn’t disappointed. When the current restrictions on cafes etc are lifted, this will be the first place we visit.

We love going into Lucy’s and having been there quite a few times; enough to fill and redeem our loyalty card we thought we’d write a review. The atmosphere is just great. From the friendliest of welcomes, the service, food and drinks, the music, the decorations on the wall and lastly, the genuine “thank you” you get when you leave. This is a gem of a place to pop in to. It’s a world apart from the big chains. It’s VERY individual. Down to the range of crockery that is used. We love it for what it is.There is large range of dishes and drinks which should please everyone. If you want something sweet then try the cakes. The fruitcake and Bakewell tart we had yesterday were lovely. The prices are very decent as are the portion sizes so you’re not paying ‘over the odds’ compared to the big chains.Looking forward to our next visit. Thank you

Found this little gem of a place for the first time since going to Kidderminster. Popped in and had a breakfast and cup of tea. This place is amazing with so many interesting things on the walls and items to read. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the service was very efficient. The meal was of a good standard and very well presented with the costs very reasonable.I would highly recommend this gem when you are in Kidderminster, we shall certainly be using this place every time we visit Kidderminster.

Been to Lucy's a few times. Great place for a quick snack. Tea, good selection of coffee, scones, sandwiches, light meals and cakes.Very well set out with plenty of room upstairs. Food is excellent and well served. Unfortunately today the lady forgot to bring my wife's meal, but she was busy so no problem.Prices are OK. Two teas, 1 fruit cake and one tosted sandwich was just under £9.00. Fruit cake was excellent, toasty was also very well prepared.Well worth a visit.

Lucy's was recommended to us and I have no hesitation in recommending it to others. The cafe itself has a lovely atmosphere, warm, friendly and very homely. The choice of meals, snacks, beverages is extensive and everything is fresh and VERY tasty. All served with a calm, friendly and respectful attitude. If visiting Kidderminster this is the place to come.

I had lunch at Lucy's yesterday with my mum and sister. We were made very welcome and the food & coffee was excellent. Only a small place but with great character. Cakes look very tasty too. Looking forward to going back to try the all day breakfast.

I'm still sitting in Lucy's and have been so impressed with the lovely service, good coffee and yummy lemon drizzle cake that I decided an immediate review was necessary! I was going to go to the no 1 coffee chain (apparently!) but realised I can visit one whichever town I'm in. So when I'm in Kidderminster, it's Lucy's from now on!

We have been in here a few times now it is always our place of choice if we are in town and want something to eat and drink. The ladies who run the place are very friendly the service is always very good and the food and drink is always lovely. They do "chunky" bread which is lovely and we always have chunky toast! The cakes look great and will have to try one, one day. They have done the coffee shop out very nicely if you look through the window and it looks full apparently there is more seating upstairs never been up there but give this place a try. So much better than these "national" companies this place has the personal touch and I can't find anything to find fault with. Well done it is about time Kidderminster had some nice little coffee shops like this one keep up the good work.

This was the first cafe that we came across after arriving by train. The one adjacent to the station was not open at 9:45 on a Saturday morning.

I work in Kidderminster and everytime im on a lunch break i walked past this coffee shop and it looks cosy and welcoming and i was always saying one day ill pop in. I did just that today and although the shop and staff are very welcoming, accommodating and overall its cosy i was let down by the bacon and egg sarnie i ordered. There was half a tub of butter on the bread and the egg was far too runny..the man at the counter did ask why i hadnt eaten it and i did tell him he did say 'all the customers always ask for more butter' except i am not all the customers and everyones preference is different in terms of food..maybe ask on arrival?! Just a suggestion..i will return but i will try another item on the menu.

Called in this morning whilst passing. :had a superb coffee, really good price at £1.70., and it was served with a little square of lemon cake. Very pleasant lady. Please call in and support this independent cafe, serving light snacks, give the big companies a miss. Lovely quips and quotes on placards around the room which make for interesting reading and bring a smile to your face. Nicely laid out and very clean. They provide a loyalty card system. I will certainly be paying more visits and have already started spreading the word. Come on take a few extra steps past Barclays bank, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Food was tasty, but sadly when i ordered a ham salad sandwich. I thought it would come in a t-cake like majority of cafés ive dined in.. But other than the bread, it was tasty. Fast service & clean.

Popped in for a quick drink, as we were stopping a few doors down, and ended up staying til kicking out time. Everyone was so friendly, felt like we were with friends. What a great little pub. Just a shame we weren't around for the Sunday lunch

Good food, we got it delivered before. One of the big pluses is that this location is open more than a lot of other places in town. They have a very good range of options, including ones for vegeterians and vegans. If you're in kiddy, give this place a go.

Booked a table for Sunday lunch on Saturday and was very glad that we did so. Everything about the experience was lovely. Excellent and friendly hospitality, our waitress had a lovely personality and was very efficient. The food was really well cooked and nicely presented and hot. All in all a fabulous place for those as hoc Sunday lunches served in a homely style and lively surroundings. Highly recommended.
