It’s shocking to see this place so lowly rated, me and my girlfriend order from this place regularly it’s our go to, portions are brilliant and you get exactly what you ask for, honestly amazing and the staff are lovely.

Terrible service. Ordered food only to find out 90 mins later that they hadn’t actually made it with any intention to deliver. No food ever delivered. Horrible place to order from.

Delivery was early but sketchy, not taking my code or coming to the door, instead asking for name and where I ordered from etc. the food was sub par, the rice was very starchy and soggy and just mush, the chicken wasn’t properly marinated, sauce was very thin.

The food was amazing we ordered crispy chilli beef and sweet and sour chicken. Will order from them again.

Just awful salt and pepper. Chicken must’ve been cooked hours ago as the batter was so horribly crispy. It was also freezing cold. What a waste of money.

Food was cold, the chicken / chips had obvious been reheated (badly). It was revolting. Avoid at all costs.

Munch box was awful… so dry hardly any meat on the ribs and the worst salt and pepper chips I’ve ever had. Curry sauce full of lumps where it hasn’t been mixed properly and bland. AVOID.

The food was terrible not worth paying for. The kung po isn’t even right no vegetables sauce runny chicken just boiled what a terrible meal won’t ever order there again. Little sweet and sour sauce it was a disgrace 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Once the best Chinese takeaway in Burbage Manchester, SADLEY from what I was given its gone down hill sad to see no care for the costumes anymore, food dry over spiced "no"ok sauce, and so expensive 😢 😞 😕

I Ordered at almost midnight and it was a very nice time if you have the munchies! I ordered the munchie box and I shared it between me and 2 others. Also gave us free spring rolls! Don’t know why everyone giving bad reviews but I will be definitely ordering again!

First time ordering from here. Delivery driver didn't come into car park only waited at entrance. Had to meet the driver in car park. Food wise both set of chips were hard and rubbery, curry sauce was cold

Sorry to say, Chips were hard & nearly cold & there was hardly any curry & it was very thick & was also nearly cold..

waa a little concerned it arrived so early..! meaning wasn't very fresh ..however arrived hot, was quite tasty..but disappointed the chop suey..more like chow mein..needed much more beansprouts. and beef was a bit chewy ..overall not too bad though .. I'd still use again and try other dishes xx

The salt n pepper chicken was lovely and so was the rice but we didn’t get the curry sauce we ordered so not much of the rice got eaten. Just eat refunded the curry sauce so not a big deal. Had to take a star off for the chips as they were reheated and very hard.

Bad experience the delivery driver tried to steal the food away claiming he can find my address and he said he drop the food opposite my site flat but had it in his car when I called him to come back and show me where he dropped it off absolutely ridiculous

Overall the food leaves nothing to be desired. The portions are extremely tiny and the food overall does not taste good. It went straight into the bin and had to reorder from somewhere else. The bbq isn’t even bbq it is some watered down liquid that has no taste and a brown tinge to it. Order at your own risk.

I probably wouldn't order from here again, sorry not sorry. The food wasn't very hot and definitely not super fresh tasting or tasty! Not terrible but I've had much nicer Chinese takeaways. Salt & pepper chicken was plain & stodgy, so was the prawn toast. Seaweed was alright. Wontons too tough/crispy. Spring rolls was nice enough. It was like I'd been given all the food that was about to go to waste at the end of the week! Really expensive for the quality so not good value.

Food was OK but the curry sauce was too hot/spicy for me.

The only edible items were the chicken fried rice and spring rolls. The salt and pepper chicken items tasted as if had been re fried and were very dry. Awful

Only ever buy my one favourite dish from here and have been doing so through 3/4 different owners for almost 40 years.

I used this restaurant on a regular basis and always recommended it to friends. It seemed to disappear from just eat for a while. I was really chuffed when it reappeared. I have ordered twice in the last couple of weeks and been disappointed both times. The fish was smaller. and the batter was soggy. Has this restaurant changed owners? or are they cutting corners due to the financial crisis at the moment? Either way this place has gone downhill

That meal went straight in the bin. Just a bunch of fried rubbish chucked in a container. Not even a box lol it was actually laughable

Don’t ever ever ever ever waste your money in this place. If I wanted a box of fried rubbish I would have ordered from a chicken/kebab shop. No flavour was cold as the weather! Looked like everything had been re fried all together after being cooked some time ago! This is not a business. A complete scam that portion I ate has had me feeling sick to my stomach dunno how this place has been open so long

One star is too good for this dive. Rude staff, vile, infact disgusting food. You wouldn't give it your dog. Resteraunt prices for burnt dry food. 4 pieces of wilted lettuce is classed as mixed veg st the establishment. Refused to apologise, won't update there computer to show deliveroo that foods been delivered. Steer clear

This food is really reasonably priced and the portions are excellent. I am vegetarian and the curry is really delicious. If you spend over £20 on Uber eats they will send you free vegetable spring rolls. I'd definitely order from here again. The noodles were great as well and there's a good selection of mock meats

Dont know how old the oil is as chips tasted and looked like they'd refried or been frying in old oil. Beef fried rice and curry sauce had no flavour.

i have not even received my order. called to check up and the lady on the phone was exceptionally rude to me, shouted at me then hung up. would give 0 stars if possible!

Ordered Munchy Box A. Word of warning - this appears it is for two people by offering 2 cans with the meal but the portion we received was tiny, in the size of a shared starter box you would get split into two compartments and the portion each was so small. Justified by giving us a whole portion of egg fried rice with it. There were about ten chips and 3 chicken nuggets so barely worth advertising them as part of the meal when you receive so few of them. Really disappointed as we have had similar for a similar price elsewhere and it comes in a 12” pizza box and is more clearly designed for two people. The food itself was just ok, have had better salt and pepper elsewhere. I would recommend you only order this for one person (if you fancy spending £17 on just yourself) but don’t order this for two without getting something else to go with it as you’ll be left very hungry and needing more food like us. Disappointing treat meal :(

The nuggets in the kids meal are better than McDonald's ones 👌 proper chicken and extra chunky too! Spring rolls are lovely and the chilli beef was beautiful 😍 not too much salt in the seaweed which was really good and the chips are steak cut so can't go wrong there! Definitely coming back 😊

The delivery driver was extremely rude, handing me the food through the window and driving straight off with a face like thunder. I've ordered from JE many times and it was the only time a driver has been completely rude with a complete lack of manners.

Ordered this last night the salt and pepper chicken was dry and missing flavour.

Lovely food but I ordered two salt and paper chips and only received one and received vegetable spring rolls which I hadn’t ordered.

Please, please don't use this dreadful place as the food was the worst chinese take away I ever had. Every friday I use a chinese.take away as a treat after a hard week at work but this was the worst. To top it all there was hair in the food so I had to have toast for dinner. When I returned the food on the Saturday they were extremely rude and wanted to call the police. After I said to them please call the police they know I was serious because I had returned all the food that I had ordered. I wish I could have given them a -10 score. Please, please keep away.

I ordered rice and curry and my rice came back dry with no curry on at all. Was very disappointed as I do really enjoy the food here but I won’t be ordering again.

I don't know what all the other reviews were on about, so far I think this place is great. Ordered for first time today, ordered 2 chicken chow meins and some sweet and sour chicken balls. With this there was an offer for 10 free mini spring rolls so we put those in the basket too. Came within the hour, driver was friendly so that was nice. When we opened the bag we had 2 free fortune cookies and a free bag of prawn crackers too! All the food was really tasty and piping hot, sizable portions and we left notes on the chow mein too, which they followed. All in all we are super happy and will be coming back here in the future!

Wow this palace is a joke , it's says 4.4 on Uber eats on it's review , I ordered the shezwan mixed dish with Sault and pepper chips prawn toest 🥺 and coke , the dish was bad from the start , really bad wishy washy meat dish that's smelled funny and the meets were mushy , the chips were not Sault and pepper and I got diet coke instead of normal , when I try to review it won't let me , there frauding the review system so it's looks like there higer than the are , my order was 23 pounds , a Chinese these days is so expensive never again stay away 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢
