The food tastes good and it is reasonably priced, plus the portions are a good size.

Food excellent. Very friendly staff. Best Chinese in a 10 mile radius. Only down fall is that it's not open Tuesday's.

Lovely food. The chicken was great and crispy beef was perfect, just as it should be done! We got some nice free bits thank you very much. Delivery was fast (for a Friday night), though slightly cold, but nothing a quick microwave couldn’t fix. Delivery ladies were lovely too.

Whilst it does operated in a darker area of Sheffield, this takeaway is not only affordable for students thanks to its very generous portion + bonuses, it can also easily beat some high scale chinese restaurant in the southeast Asia when it comes to taste and experience felt during the visit. So, its 888 star from me.

The worst Chinese takeaway in Sheffield!! beware. my pregnant niece had ordered special fried rice (beef) but when she had received the order and started eating. It had pork, bear in mind she is a Muslim.This really upset her and cause her to be in distraught during that week of her pregnancy as it’s very heartbreaking for her. I have also heard they put dog meat in the rice disguising as beef

The best Chinese Takeaway in Sheffield. For potions, variety and value Lucky Star is absolutely best ever. Lisa and Ping are the best cooks in the world. They are so lovely and take good care of you. They have running the Lucky Star for a long time and deeply rooted in the community. From regular and big orders they are the best. Highly recommend the grilled pork dumplings.

Go weekley. The food is all qaulity.all freshly cooked very clean looking kitchen.

Portion sizes were great for the price, very tasty too. Chicken balls were made with shredded chicken so no fatty lumps on the inside like you get at some other Chinese takeaways. We also recieved prawn crackers and spring rolls for free

Normally spot on, but this time no veg in the beef chow mein, just noodles n floppy bits of beef, not appetising to look at or eat.

Lived on Wybourn more or less my whole life and its my first time trying this Chinese and I have to say I'm very impressed. Large portions, not greasy at all best takeaway we've had in a long time. Daughters birthday treat and she really enjoyed it. Thankyou

Went tonight as New Jumbo and Happy House are closed. Had spring rolls, Singapore chow mein and a sweet and sour sauce on the side. Plus they threw in prawn crackers and some mini spring rolls for free. Freshly cooked there and then. Beautiful meal just a tenner, fed two and now have my new favourite Chinese takeaway in Sheff!

Lovily and hot quality meal big portions and very reasonable on price cheaper than quite alot of chinese takeaways and lovily delivery lady. I havent had cinese from here since i lived on wybourn . It was as delious as i remember would fully recommend them x

Have ordered from them a few times. The food is really nice. Its difficult sometimes to order by phone due to language barrier but the receptionist really does her best to understand

Quality and fresh food in generous quantity at very reasonable price. I ordered sweet sour chicken and grilled dumplings, both were done very well, much better than some other places I have ordered from.

Ive ordered from.this Chinese quiet a few times I'm not the biggest eater of Chinese food but since I've tried lucky star I've eaten it quiet a lot it's lovely I've recommend it to a few people who I no have ordered and thought the same my favorite by miles thank you very much

Good range and quite quick service

Ordered a Chow Mein, we always use to go to this Chinese when the little old Chinese lady owned it, they then went under new management and the taste was the same so we carried on using it, I loved their chow mein because there wasn’t much rooms and carrots etc in it, it was a lovely nice chow mein! Haven’t been for sometime and there’s now a English girl serving on the till, very pleasant. But after coming home ready to eat the taste of the chow mein wasn’t the same, there was carrots, peppers and mushrooms in the chow mein. I’m Sorry to say but I won’t be returning it’s a complete waste of money. I don’t eat Chinese much but when I want it I expect it to be nice and Chinese isn’t cheap! I won’t be buying from Lucky Star ever again. Very unlucky star.

Ordered Mushroom chow mein as I’m vegetarian, but they gave me shrimp chow mein.

Favourite Chinese in Sheffield, good portions, fast service and always hot. Never had an issue with an order. All in all, great all round.
