Had a lot of takeaways from here and only ever 2 were less than excellent,our go to Chinese.

We often use Lucky House and never disappointed by their service or food.

Absolutely appalled today at discovering the online prices are substantially more than in store, I've ordered regularly from here and was shocked to check the prices when collecting to find everything is less on their menu. They refused to refund the difference after years of regular orders I won't be going there again. You only realise how good or bad a place is when there's an issue. And I have experienced this today. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE you get ripped off!!!!

I’ve been ordering from Lucky house for a while but after tonight NOT NO more food arrrived within 15 mins of ordering ( WOW ) chicken noodle soup oh my looked and tasted like dishwasher water even after double seasoning made NO difference… In the bin Crispy shredded chilli beef in Cantonese sauce … NO sauce what’s so ever dry & tough .. In the bin Rang to complain response was I’m sorry what can I do … £32 down the drain all in the bin Will definitely NOT be using again

first time ordering from here as we are in derby for the weekend. hands down the nicest chinese takeaway i’ve ever had 👌🏻 the hot and sour soup is unbelievably nice 🤤 really friendly staff as well, i would honestly recommend to anyone 😁

Good food at a decent price. Marked down atmosphere as front of house looks shabby, but we enjoy their meals.

It's such a shame I do not live nearby anymore. Their huge pizza box meal of items is fantastic and all their food tastes amazing. You can see yourself from the photos from others how good this takeaway is. Never had a bad meal, I reccomend the sticky ribs!

Used twice now, both times very quick, very hot and very tasty! Portions are generous too.

Not quite sure how they made the "black pepper sauce" however it tasted like fruity HP and brown sauce with black pepper dusted on top....worse food I've ever had. Rice was overcooked...chips were soggy but the prawn crackers were just about edible. Never again.

It was quite alright. Big portion and quickly served but didn’t taste additional bbq sauce. Also too much onion. Inside of this takeaway should be much cleaner. Looks like prison canteen, I think.

This is the best Chinese takeaway in Derby, staff are welcoming, fast and efficient although it can take a little while to get through on the phone to order, due to their popular demand. Food is faultless always hot and never incorrect. I would never eat Chinese food from anywhere other than here.

I liked the variation of the menu so I decided to order food. Very salty and was disappointing. Plus we need to pay 1£ more to use their card machine which is stupid. It is a one time restaurant and no more...

On ordering was told my food would be delivered in 45mins, 1 and half hours later my food was delivered. I had to ring twice and ask how long my food was going to be and each time i was told it was on its way. When the food was delivered i was told by the driver he was sent out with 5 meal orders ALL off which was delivered before mine so by time my meal arrived it had sat sweating in the bag. The chips was like cardboard, rice was like rubber and the curry was so bland and loop warm. I WANT be ordering from here again and i defo wont be recommending to anyone else

Everything was just soggy. The sweet and sour sauce was tasteless. There are better Chinese takeaways in the area.

Having previously eaten here and enjoyed it I decided to eat here again. This time the food was soggy greasy and full of salt and i mean FULL OF IT Unfortunately I had to throw it away. Such a shame

Some nice dishes and reasonable prices happily return but walking inside the spices or what ever they do in the kitchen area plays terrible wiv my throat I hav to walk out as I start coughing. This doesn't mean food not good I've always had a good dish here.

Our usual Chinese takeaway wasn't open yesterday so we decided to try lucky house. So glad we did, very impressed with food and service. It was a big order (9 of us) but everything was spot on. Will definitely order from here again.

Excellent Chinese food, I recommend the Lucky Pim Poom dish. The chips are nice and the salt and pepper chips are really tasty. The staff are all very pleasant and always have a smile when greeting.

Since the closure of Kam Yin, we was recommended to Lucky House, Blimey! Some of the best Chinese food we have ever had. 11/10 & Gold star 🌟 We no longer need to look elsewhere.

Great portion sizes and quality for the price. After getting a takeaway for a family of five there was enough to feed 3 more people. My only complaint is that the prices are weird. The sauce is expensive for what it is. If you want chips, you should go here. They taste amazing, and there're hardly any burnt ones either. Although it's served in little ghetto disposable polystyrene containers it tastes like something you'd order at a restaurant.
