I paid £9.30 for a sweet and sour chicken didnt have to wait 5mins for it ,I realise the chicken was overcooked from the day before I did not enjoy hard bits in the battered chicken it was atrocious I won't be going there again

Ordered at half 6 and was told that delivery would be 1 hour and 20 mins and collection would be half an hour. We went to collect and had to sit and wait for the food for 45 minutes! When we rang to question what what’s happening the young lad on the phone said it was our fault. The young lad on the phone then hung up on us instead of trying to help! Awful service - when we eventually got the food home some of it was stone cold! Totally not acceptable!!!

We ordered 1 fried rice and chow mein, but when we got home, they are all rice. Food was delicious, but we're a bit disappointed. That's fine and next time we will double check our orders.

Other Chinese in the area have either closed of become so expensive it’s cheaper to go out for a meal! It tends to cost 25/30 for a two people takeaway. That’s a meal each, few sides and a mixed starter. It’s always good and consistent, portion size is good and we have food left for the next day so win win! Would recommend!

The service attitude is good, the clerk is diligent and quick, and you can make a reservation by paying cash at the store and wait for 20 minutes to get it. I am the only customer who is from Hong Kong. I saw eight other male and female customers who are all locals. Of course, it is a bit different from Hong Kong restaurants. There is a difference. I feel like it might taste better if I add a little more sugar.

We’ve been coming to lucky house for over 3 years now and always stayed loyal to coming there. To the point they even know are address when they see our number but the customer service is disgraceful and seriously needs to change. My partner rang up and we understand they have a minimum order but as we’ve come they’re so much every weekend thought they might allow just one meal seen as though they get that much of us anyway. The response from the Chinese lady was so rude to the point I nearly ended up going down there and for a fact we will no longer be coming back there again absolute joke!

Absolutely disgusting !!!!.tonight we bought our usual takeaway and the vegetables tonight were awful we could clearly tell the vegetables were old the broccoli was half yellow and the stripes of carrot were a pale colour with holes cut out of them ...the onions were brown on the corners and tastes off....being a chef myself i really couldn't eat my meal .because of the way the veg tasted and .my rice was all clogged together and nothing was like it normally is ....so my husband feeling upset that I only ate a little of my meal took it back ....the response from the owner was disgusting he said take it to the council ...take it to the police ...you eat half meal ....I give you nothing back ..he obviously wants to lose our custom of our family rather than apologise and accept a mistake had been made .we will never buy anything from here again and yes I will take this further not only have you ruined our supper you treated my husband with such disrespect.shame on you . Your reply to my comments are untrue the person who spoke to my husband made himself very clear !.....and he said take the meal to the council or the police .well that's exactly what I have done ...all you needed to say was can I offer you a refund or another meal ...I certainly could not eat another meal ever again after examining what was under my sauce.the broccoli was yellow. holes cut out of veg stalks of veg brown spots of black on my green peppers and old vegetables. Please grant me with intelligence as I have been a chef for over 40 years and your customer service is disgraceful you did understand every word my husband said but you have no manners or customer service .how could you say the sauce made the veg look that way .them vegetables were inedible . Your apologies are not accepted because you should have done the right thing when my husband came back with the take out no matter how much was eaten your food has made me ill and you are responsible.

Absolute disgraceful service tonight S&P box delivery arrived late and lukewarm I rang to let them know I wasnt happy and was told to bring it back myself.when I arrived there were cooked meals sitting going cold all over,we do order from here occasionally and had excellent meals not sure if its different owners disgrace.

I've only ever ordered seaweed and tofu in Szechwan sauce but have done so a number of times. I love the flavour and my only critique is that the vegetable portion of the mix is almost exclusively onion - I don't like onions and usually pick them out of dishes, however here it's usually more picking the other veg out here. Service is great, always ask about my day - even remembering my job and my name from my predictable phone order. Will absolutely still be ordering again though! Like....as soon as they open!

Moved back to the area, and was struggling to find a decent Chinese. Then I found this place!!!! Food is awesome, a really good price, and they also do deliveries! Remember..... Cash only though. I still love this Chinese

We order for delivery about every 3 to 4 weeks and we are always really pleased with what we get, whether it's Fish and Chips or Chinese options. We are happy to wait sometimes 45 minutes as that tells us that the meals are always cooked fresh. I always especially ask for the chips to be crispy and that's what I get. Fully recommended, tell them Lapsap Chung sent you.

Never had a bad meal... service is always quick, polite and friendly. The food is not overly salty like most Chinese takeaways. I love it!!!

Went in for a bag of chips, place was packed, woman took the money out of my hand and just left me, they served everyone else before me who also needed small items and even served people who had massive meals before me, to leave me for half an hour for a bag of chips and serve other people who have come in after me? Shocking. Never coming here again. The chips were really greasy as well so not even worth waiting for.

Chips are always excellent. Knocking a star off as lately the meat in the fried rice has been a bit dry. But overall still the best chippy in the area

We ordering a Chinese and were informed that this would be delivered within 30 to 40 minutes. After an hour and 10 minutes we chased this up were told that the driver was on his way. After 20 minutes we again called back and were told the same thing. After 2 hours, we gave up and called to cancel. We were then informed that there was no order coming to our address anyway. Food has always been lovely in the past but extremely poor customer service.

This was an excellent Chinese suggested by a local I was not disappointed one bit! Fried rice with absolutely sensational The pork curry was absolutely beautiful I highly recommend this food, been back as it was so good since, ordering more delights this menu has to offer! Really Poor. Just had beef brocolli in oyster sauce, crispy noodles, chips and egg fried rice. Only the egg fried rice was edible. I don't know what the beef is but it's disgusting. Chips soggy and undercooked

Had fish & chips from here this week, batter was lovely and crispy 1 large bag of chips served 3 of us. Gravy, curry sauce & mushy peas were lovely! Definitely recommend!

Just ordered a meal to be collected not only did they keep us waiting 30 mins after collection time dumplings were over cooked vegetable spring rolls were cold and they got the main course totally wrong, some cheap dish with too many chillies to cover the lack of taste. Needless to say I was charged for the more expensive dish

Couple of reasons....on the food Sausage was ok but the chips wasnt which surprised me as when it first changed hands first visit they were very nice.....secondly i didnt like seeing the person who was serving us actually in between wrapping our order up they kept picking up food and popping it into their mouth and thirdly they had an uncovered small cut on one of their hands which should have been covered with a coloured plaster so i probably wont be returning as it has put me off.

I always get my take away from Lucky House and have done for many years .... always a cracking meal!!

Nice place but you have to speak very careful because you might end up with something else to eat instead of what you ordered. I asked for fries and I got rice. 😆It was good tough.

Needs to be quicker and stop taking more orders. My food was sat waiting to be collected for 15 mins in plain site before I canceled the order and walked away.

Had problems with last 3 orders. Missing or wrong items delivered and staff on the point of being rude when i contacted them to request the missing items.

Order was late, when we rang to ask about our delivery, we were told the driver was just leaving. Delivery driver was very polite. Several items were missing from our order, we called to say we had been charged for them but not received them and were told rudely that our order was correct. The staff didn't explain why we had been charged for something we hadn't received and according to them hadn't ordered. We also didn't get any of the complimentary free items that should have come due to the order being over £25. Definitely would not recommend.

I think no one interested in this Chinese got food hygiene rating 1.

Never had a bad Chinese takeaway from here. Friendly staff and quick service. Well priced. Recommend the Chicken Foo Yung.
