Lucky House in Barnsley

Ordered chicken chow main, very disappointed, portion was tiny, not fresh chicken but frozen chicken strips , hardly no vegetables, noddles bland and dry and under cooked, wouldn't recommend it,

Very disappointed by the house special curry. OK, it did have the standard 2 king prawns, but only 5 small chunks of chicken, 6 pieces of onion, 2 frozen peas and 2 smartie size pieces of pork swimming in an extremely thin, if tasty, sauce. Worst value for money I have ever come across in almost 60 years of chomping Chinese! I had been recommended - how do I trust my recommender now? Sorry Lucky House, you have lost a customer here.

This has really gone down hill now. Small portions no meat in the vermicelli noodles. The ribs were so dry they practically snapped.

What a super takeaway Lucky House of Birdwell is. The food is delicious, the best we have had in a long, long time. The staff are great, and helped get my order just right because of my daughter's egg allergy. Thank you. Will definitely come back.

Just wasted £28, my dish was wrong. I ordered house special chop suey and got a dish swimming in sweet and sour sauce? Portion size was small and not value for money. Our other dishes were correct but again they were small portion size and not value for money.I will never ever use this place again what a rip off.

Food was very ordinary I had a house curry but the meat in the dish was shocking Sorry but wouldn’t go back

Lucky House.... Lucky to get the right meal, more like! Asked for Prawn Chop Suey. Got Prawn Sweet and Sour. Very poor. Dont go.....

Food is great, decent portions. tasty too. Food can change ever so slightly depending on which chef has cooked it. It's clean & safe. Staff friendly & helpful. Easy parking.

Had a meal from here saturday night me & my partner it was cold and not very nice within 30 minutes I was blasting g out on the toilet pebble dashing it My partner acid all night. Won't be going back there

Extortionate delivery charge, meal nothing special, very small portions for the price, don’t think I’ll order again

Chicken in most dishes is awful looks like strips of chicken rubery.

The dishes, sweet & sour chicken, duck in plum sauce, egg fried rice and salt & pepper chips were all very nice and delivered earlier than expected but when you spend over £20 you expect at least a bag of prawn crackers. I have received free prawn crackers with orders just over £12 before. I'm sure your customers would appreciate something a bit extra for their custom

Rude staff set meal for 2 was tiny and freezing cold phoned them extremely rude returned it back to them had the cheek to charge delivery for less than 0.4 miles too which I didn't get back

Fantastic food, good price but best part was that the food was delivered in just 20 minutes from us making the order. Good appetiser share platter as a highlight of the food itself

Visited shop 20/1/2015 I heard that new owners had taken over! What a delight Chinese food really tasty and plenty of it. The food was about £1 more than the Chinese on High st but there was more and the quality was better. Well worth a visit Lets hope it wasn't a flash in a pan experience.
