Fantastic Chinese takeaway great food and lovely people highly recommend

Not had for a long time but I got a delivery today the place is definitely got new owners order salt and pepper chicken was a 6/10 not what it used to be next beef curry sauce was nice but the beef was too hard and the yang Chow fried rice had no shrimp in it just chicken pork and burnt beef which was not edible but the delivery was on time 45 minutes

The staff on the phone is always rude and impatient to take orders. She be yelling your orders back at you like you’re wasting her time.

Ordered one of the box meals for £19 it’s was terrible. It says you get salt & pepper ribs, the chips were much bigger than the ribs, the wings were over cooked & you get a tiny sweet & sour sauce. Never again, my advice would be don’t ever order from this place

This Used To Be A Good Chippy, Now Not Only Have Prices Gone Up But The Portions Have Got Smaller, Definitely Not Value For Money… 😠

Absolutely georgous the sweet and sour chicken is always nice with egg fried rice the duck spring rolls r always nice and hot and really tasty love it and the beef curry is always seasoned right absolutely banging.

We ordered: Char Sui in black bean sauce with soft noodles it was awful, I didn’t taste like black bean sauce. The salt and pepper ribs looked great but were all fat. The special fried rice was dry, I discarded all the pork and beef as it was fatty or like cardboard. It was over priced at £32.80 for 2 starters and 2 mains I’d never order from here again.

Not my usual chippy but thought I would give it a try ordered salt and pepper ribs when I got home I was fuming it looked and tasted as though they had been refried got sausage and chip's for the kids they enjoyed those but won't go back

Ordered fried rice, salt and pepper chips and noodles - I was enjoying it up to the point i found chicken in there. Which would not have been so bad except I AM VEGETARIAN!!!! Completely unprofessional and disgusting. Such a shame because I’ve enjoyed their food in the past and the delivery was fast in arriving. Will never order from them again so i’d be extra diligent if you don’t eat meat. Otherwise I’m sure you’ll like it

Food is beautiful. Only thing I think letting it down is the curry sauce has gone far to spicy and quite difficult to enjoy now.

Used the be the best chippy. The past 3 times Iv eaten from here the food has been terrible. They onions in the food have been raw and not fried with the salt and pepper chicken or chips. Today I ordered and it come an hour later, it’s a Friday night so it’s expected. I received the order and the bag was soaking wet inside due to the condensation so just of been in bag for ages. The food was freezing cold and the chicken was burnt and chips were soggy and cold. I called up and was spoken to so rudely so I went into the shop. I was told I shouldn’t get it delivered if I want my food warm, and she would redo it. I politely asked for a refund and she told me I am not allowed to come back. Sad really as my family have been a regular customer here since 2012 and we get it at least 1-2times a week. Won’t be returning as it has gone down hill. I hope it goes back to the way it used to

Very rude while on the phone kept hanging up and was telling me the wrong order and said they can’t change it didn’t even get my food….

Food is always hot fresh and quick. Portion sizes are quality! The best Chinese around by far!

(Delivery orders) Always comes nice and hot! Great service, Takes about 30-60 mins (dependant on order) but definitely worth the wait! Would highly recommend the food!

Absolutely delicious food delivered in a timely manner All fresh and the chicken and sweet corn soup was beyond tasty

Mushy peas wasn't mushy and they are hard, gravy was like water. Never again! Even my 5 year old who loves food especially chippy said the gravy isn't nice.

Very good food and great menu and staff.

Made a phone order for Singapore vermicelli and chips they asked how long I would be i told them around 5 mins then they asked me pick up when I was ready to collect took me 10mins and when I got there my vermicelli was just finished being cooked and chips being wrapped up. Excellent service great food enjoyed every bite 😋 thanks.

Tragedy...don't know from where the positive reviews come from. The staff was so rude when I was trying to make an order. It was such a bad experience. I realy do not recommend

The food is lovely from here best bbq ribs out of most places and beef is so tender ,will definitely be using lucky house again cnt wait to try other stuff off the menu .

I always use to buy fish in there. It's absolutely delicious. The staff are always kind and friendly. The price is something that I'd like to mention, because it's not expensive. We can have a good size of fish (fish and chips) for a good and reasonable price. For people who are coming by bus, the bus stop (81, 112, 118) is just few steps of the door.

Just visited this chippy and ordered vermicelli twice was just like ordering 2 portions of noodles 🍝 got excited when we found one piece of chicken 🍗 ordered this meal alot but nit any more gone tight as cramp with the fillings

Just ordered from here and never again not a single thing got eaten the chips and gravy was hard and the gravy was dried into the chips, salt and pepper ribs were lumps of fat and very tasteless l. I wouldn't recommend and certainly won't be using again!!
