Really bad chips almost raw, loads of them too. Not edible. Very ill after the meal and binned most of it unlucky me at lucky house. Starter so chewy tasteless won tons? Delivered on time that's the only good thing

food was not cooked noodles were like bought home bargain not even put in water spoke shop was told won't sort as shut and collect refund on justeat absolute joke

terrible chinese meal everything was flavourless the spicy items had zero heat and everything was bland most of it went in the bin. Always use to be a good chinese I will never order from there again

Order was late and the boxes and containers barely kept the food in - was leaked everywhere. The batter was also very stodgy across the meals, the sweet and sour and pineapple fritters were inedible the batter was so soggy

When you get sent something that definitely should be prawn but definitely was not and was meat that is not acceptable! As someone who cannot eat meat this is going to make me quite unwell

Soup was amazing but rest of the food was poor, the half and half was probably worst we've ever had, the "fried rice" was more boiled and the curry was sweet not spicy. The dim sum combo was okay if you like crucified chicken wings and weirdest prawn toasts ever. The chow mein was bland and why was there cucumber in it? Won't be ordering again

not sure what was on my chips and rice but it certainly didn't taste like curry. wouldn't use again.

It's meh ... I wouldn't order from here again. Generous portion sizes but lacking with the quality. Chicken wings aren't worth getting - I was very disappointed with them - overdone and lacking in flavour. Seaweed portion was huge but it wasn't crispy and no grated fish on top - it's actually unpleasant to chew. Chicken chow mien was alright I guess. Just bog standard egg wheat noodles though and only a small amount of veg. S&S sauce was terrible, maybe try the curry? It's a very low 3* chippy,

We didn’t receive the drink with the kids meal. Food was ok otherwise

Ordered 2 banquets, food arrived with extras! Food was fantastic, delivered on time, staff really helpful....fully recommended!!

The curry was full of sugar and the chips were soagy and prawn toast dripping grease.

Standard Chinese chippy. Chips are nice and the curry sauce is not too hot. Staff are very friendly and polite.

Not going again, server is surly at best and the past two visits have resulted in illness

I buy takeaway from here regularly, highly recommend it's always lovely. They don't take card in the shop but you can order it via food hub and pay card that way.

The good thing is that they get very busy, but obviously when they get busy, you wait longer for your food. Very polite.

Ordered food it didn't arrive and I still got charged. Delivery driver was adamant she dropped it off but we didn't receive any food and they refused to give me a refund. They handled the situation very poorly I won't be ordering from them again.

Waited over 2 hours for our food and wanted us to wait another half hour so had to cancel and go elsewhere women on the phone was very rude and we will never be ordering from this place again.

Excellent food and service, though you'll want to go directly there; as attempting a phone order was a disaster for us last time. Language barriers with the owners led to the poor delivery driver spending hours looking for us, when we were very close. Very much enjoyed the birthday treat, I'd just use a food delivery service or go there direct, to avoid the communication problems.

We've ordered from there a few times and it's always been great! The food is exactly what you'd expect from a Chinese takeaway. Nothing fancy, but delicious and filling. Also that's among the few takeaways that say the food will be with you in 15-20 mins and it really does! Recommended!

I dont normally leave a review if it negative feel very disappointed with the Salt N Pepper Munchy Box 12.90. Bland no salt n pepper taste Ribs hard no taste. Spring rolls greasy and mushy. Just like a load of food deep fried with no flavour. Chips soggy. Asked for bbq sauce got curry. 3 tiny pieces of chili that was the only taste. 1 one star for the can of coke. I just cldnt eat it very disappointed 😞 unfortunately I can't recommend this and doubt j will chance another visit. You need to taste what you selling.

Not a very lucky house tonight I'm afraid. The chips arrived practically raw. The centre of the chips was like biting into a carrot! Disgusting and spoilt the whole meal. We tried to ring them but nobody was answering the phone. If a chip shop can't even cook chips properly what does that say about the rest of their food? Avoid.

Ordered quite a number of times from this place.. not sure what the other reviewers are on about. My food arrived very hot, early by 20-30 mins every time without fail. Food has huge portions (I share the beef in mushroom and pepper sauce with fried rice with my other half).

Absolutely disgusting food, we ordered from just eat and it came on time but it was stone cold, we ordered salt and pepper chicken with chips the chicken was just batter no chicken at all, and the chips stone cold, when I phoned they said contact just eat for a refund and then refused the refund, wouldn't feed it to my dogs!!!

Just got a chicken fried rice £7.50 they taking the piss never again and mine is better than theirs

I have been ordering from this chippy for over two years and the food is amazing never ever had anything to complain about ! you can tell that they use very high quality ingredients and that the chef puts his heart and soul into each dish. The food is incredible they deliver really promptly would highly recommend .

Food was nice although bit disappointed the Chicken Chow Mein and Chicken Fried Rice just had chicken pieces sprinkled on top rather than actual dishes prepared. Ordered via Just Eat and delivery came on time as requested.

AVOID- placed a few orders with Lucky House in the past via JustEat and its been okay. BUT- as I received a 10% off offer off a delivered menu, I ordered via the phone as the offer said I had to. Ordered two items off the menu plus £1 delivery charge and calculated the exact change for the delivery driver with the 10% off menu price. Double checked the menu prices to find they matched the just eat prices as well. When the delivery driver turned up he gave me a different figure that was about £1 higher and showed me the order receipt. I rang up to dispute as I had the exact change but the call handler didn't accept my calculation even when I explained it step-by-step, logically. I didn't want to be rude and keep the delivery driver waiting so I told the handler that I would not be using Lucky House in future. Had to rummage around the house for the extra money, felt sorry for the delivery driver who was waiting in the cold! If you have offers, please stick to them and apply them correctly otherwise this can cause inconvenience.

Just ordered the Peking duck and it was easily the worst I've even seen. Completely inedible. Just a chunk of duck fat, not even enough meat for two pancakes. Avoid.

For the price the food is terrible and the way the boss speaks to the staff is disgusting !!!

Im really fussy And only like restaurant chinese but this chippy is as good as from there sausage butties to sezhuan chicken. Kids meals really good value And they get a lil toy. Would highly reccomended x
