Lucky Dragon in North East Lincolnshire

Sadly we did not enjoy this at all. The chips looked like they had been microwaved they was so dry. The chicken chow mein was tasteless had no flavour to it. All 3 of us couldn’t eat it and most of it went in the bin.

1st time ordering and definitely won't be the last. Best takeaway by far. Food was hot, fresh and delivered quickly. Top class 👏

Not very good. Chicken looks quite grey in the salt and chilli chicken so it went in the bin. I certainly Won’t be back

Wow!! Simply the best... Better than all the rest.... Better than everyone... Chicken balls are superb!!! The special fried rice with sauce is phenominal. As for my goat... Its starvin!!

Had special fried rice and bean sprouts nicely cooked different from other takeaways but was still delicious.

This chinese is our regular. My partner is usually allergic to a lot of the ingredients used in chinese dishes but is absolutely fine with lucky dragon. their dishes never disappoint and are an amazing take out option.

Food was spot on there was a long weight for food but it wasn't there fault as it was Xmas

First visit to this chinese takeaway and it was tasty, hot and plenty. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed it and the vegetable spring rolls were absolutely amazing(in fact it was all amazing) Will definitely visit again soon !

Twice we have a wrong delivery tonight I asked for special fried rice and I got rice my partners prawns wasn’t cooked properly and the chips were cold. Shame on you lucky dragon taking good money and not deven delivering what you offer. Will never use you again

Ordered crab claws,dim sum,side dishes....every element was manufactured frozen,tastless crap!!. They fry some stuff in a wok as we all can.the rest of menu is bought in frozen or ambient...not Chinese...crappie.never bother..wouldn't let the goat have it.

Absolutely the best Chinese food in Grimsby and nice people too. App messed up my order and didn’t put a pre order time on it so I am rang them and even though they had already made the food they re delivered 3 hours later without any hassle. Top service

After ordering our meal tonight, how disappointed I was order Chinese chicken beanspouts the chicken didn’t look like chicken it was all fat and grizzly I rang up to ask if it was the person on the phone said it was I think if I had ate it I would of been sick, she said she would send me something else salt & pepper chicken she said it was very popular, it was chicken but it was that hard and dry not nice couldn’t eat that either don’t usually order from here but thought we would have a change but never again !!!!

Very disappointed with our order I have no words to describe. who eats this stuff anyway mabe it's just me. mabe onion water for gravy is a thing nowadays. Chips🤢sausages 🤢curry🤢gravy🤢

Gravy is appalling. Tastes like granule-based-rubbish. Chicken curry is bland, as is it all really. Prawn crackers ok but greasy. Lamenting the closure of Golden City. Redeeming feature is sweet and sour king prawn Hong Kong style.

Ordered some food. It came hot and all the food was fresh and cooked to perfection. Totally Delicious! highly recommend!

Always loved this take away ordered for the last year but only ordered from just eat.... we was told are order was confirmed, then on its way, then delivered... we rang the take away and the receptionist was brilliant and tried her best to resolve the problem. I highly recommended to ordered through the take away service and not just eat.. the take away could not do enough for us and told us we as customers are very important. I would like to post a review about the Lucky Dragon Chinese takeaway as this has to be the best place I have ever been to. The food is absolutely outstanding and so tasty and fresh. The staff are also fantastic and always very very polite. In addition this place has the best covid measures I have ever seen with a hygiene rating if 5/5. Had meal from Lucky Dragon earlier this week it was very good really tasty. Would recommend this Chinese .

Always use the Lucky Dragon. My wife and I always use them, but tonight they have outdone themselves, an absolute gorgeous meal, so well cooked and so meat filled I only managed half my meal, not for the want of trying but Wow. My stomach is as full as it can be and the flavour is still lingering. Well done again Lucky Dragon.

My first time trying this restaurant, sadly it will be my last. I thought for the price the quality would have been better than other local restaurants. The quality is poor and there is no taste.

Use this Chinese all the time and it never disappoints! Food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. Have tried just about all the others in the area and keep coming back to this one - can't fault it. Recommend the Foo Yung and the salt & pepper chips, pancake rolls are fab too. Delivery always slightly early or bang on time too.

The food from lucky dragon is so good, when ever we have it it's always really good and the standards never fall.

Curry was very tasteless, dumplings were not bad I think the wraps are a bit too thick in them.

Right first you need to sort you phone out since it was t working as I tried to ring to change my address since I put the wrong one on just eat second your food is awful never ordering from here again

Easy to order Delivery was good apart from we thought they’d bring it up to the pod but had to go get it from car park but that’s fine. Food was lovely also hot which was great! Had enough for next days lunch as well which was lovely.

Food tasteless, not sure what was in the spring rolls but looked and smelled like meat minced up, gravy was bistro and I’ve never tasted prawn balls like that before.

Delivered on time and all dishes bar one were pretty good. Only negative comment would be that the prawn sweet and sour balls were over fried and some were hard. Would use again though.

Usually we order from this restaurant and it has always been fantastic however this time I was extremely disappointed l, a lot of the food was over cooked and appeared to be slap dash presentation. Really disappointed.

Pretty much our favourite chinese takeaway in Grimsby, we even drive past 3 other ones to get there. Still open for walk in as well as phone in take away orders. Home delivery available for £1 charge within 3 mile radius. Closed on Tuesdays. Crispy shredded chilli beef recommended also sells a reasonable crispy aromatic duck (with the pancakes, salad & hoi sin sauce) as an occasional treat.

Excellent food as it always is but when I called to see where order was as it had disappeared off my order list, said was on its way only to turn up a further 20+ minutes later. Shame as great food.

King prawn curry was packed with quality king prawns, dim sum mixed starter was beautiful full of different flavours! All in all a great meal all thriller and no filler.....!

Best takeaway I think Iv ever had. Definitely the best Chinese food ever. We ordered a range of different things and everything was cooked perfect and the flavours were amazing! Arrived early and hot. Big portion sizes so will be finishing the rest tomorrow. Restaurant staff were very polite and professional. Will definitely recommend to anyone.

Just had chicken satay. Tasted like just water and a spoon of chili powder, with no attempt at a peanut base. Hideous, never again!

I thought the food was terrible and most dishes were only just warm, worst Chinese I have had for a long time very funny fast to the chow main and the meat was tough and very fatty, chips were rock solid and more like crisps,I would not order from here again

Wanted 30 minutes over expected time for the food. It was luke warm so had to reheat the chips. Steak in the mixed grill was very fatty not impressed with the quality for a 1st time order. Had to give a mark for restaurant although had it delivered to be able yo submit this.

They don't cook Sweet and Sour Chicken Hong Kong Style correctly. More like shredded crispy beef (chewy and stringy). Chicken generally in chicken curry is rubbery and almost unpleasant. Chicken chow mein has far too much garlic that I couldnt eat it. And they totally forgot the prawn crackers that we paid for when others provide complimentary.

Rang the restaurant about one of my pizzas a spicy beef with pepperoni and jalapeños as extras it definitely didn’t have the jalapeños on and it was debatable if it had some spicy beef on. There response in a very rude manner was I made the pizza myself and it has jalapeños and spicy beef on. Upon arguing that it didn’t I gave up and put my own jalapeños and beef on. Won’t be using the establishment again. Shocking customer is always right. We’ve had about 20 orders from these so something at the restaurant must have changed
