Stayed in the hotel and ate in the restaurant Room was perfectly fine, nice and clean, bathroom was clean, was cheap too The resturant was amazing! Service was good and the food was excellent, all the staff were very friendly and welcoming If I was in the area I will definitely be coming again it's a shame I live the other side of the country!

Food was excellent and service fantastic. Fitted me in at short notice and a great selection. Rooms very dated and didn't smell very fresh, stairs up to them curved and steep and fire door propped open with a fire extinguisher! No AC so beware if staying in the height of summer and I had the kitchen extraction right outside my bedroom window. No breakfast available here.

Absolutely lovely place! Staff, food, and occasional entertainment are all first class. I have been to Lucarelli many times now and never had a bad experience! It's definitely worth a visit.

We came for restaurant only, pasta was ok'ish, grilled meat and cocktails were absolutely terrible. The meat was burnt, well done instead of medium and tasted sour, my guess, from poorly washed grill. At the end they forgot to bring my coffee, but put it in the bill. For 150 quid for 2 adults and 1 7yo kid this is inadequate

We went here for lunch for my husband’s birthday with our family. The service was excellent and the food was divine! This was our second time coming here and we will DEFINITELY be back!

First visit on a recommendation. Easy to book a table online.looks to be plenty of parking...we had booked a 7.00 pm table. Table was easy as we arrived,had a couple of drinks in the bars first, showen to our table, very nice clean surroundings. Polite staff very friendly and happy to help. Placed orders arrived in good time, could fault the quality of the food, and will definitely be making another visit, well done to all. Lovely Meal for our anniversary, Thursday night and the restaurant filled up as the evening went on but service remained excellent throughout. Food and drinks were all great and we won't hesitate to visit again. I've seen moans elsewhere about the gratituity added to the bill, it's a reasonable amount considering the great service... It's mentioned on the menu and the waitress mentioned that it was optional when it came to paying, so no complaints from me.

Special occasion celebrated in a pod. Absolutely wonderful experience. Authentic Italian food served by friendly, helpful staff. The food was superb.

Service and surroundings great, the reason it only receives 3 stars was purely due to an issue with the food, which was overcooked, I'm sure at an other time it would have been better.

First time visiting. Lager was OK but it’s what I’d expect for price. For starters had mussels, average. I had a fillet steak, meat was good but it was plastered in a sauce which was a bit sweet for me, over £30 for a steak without anything else. Potatoes, fries, vegetables all extra. I’m not keen on Italian restaurants but I went with friends. This is not a restaurant for me I’m afraid but I know people enjoy it here. Gratuity of 10% is high I feel for average service.

Stayed in the hotel for a night and had a meal in the restaurant. Solid 4 stars, location is close to the centre but cheaper than the other hotels, on site parking for no extra cost and a big car park. Rooms are a bit old and dated, paint chipping, bathroom door handle hanging off etc but you get what you pay for, rooms are 3 star and all hygienically clean. Nothing much they can do about them being old. Restaurant was 5 stars easily, great service and fantastic food.

Terrible service from the start! Arrived on time table wasn’t ready , waited 10 mins then table was ready to find our table of 2 has been out in an area of large 10-12 people tables so this made us completely forgotten about by staff !! Waited ages for drinks order to be taken , had to go and find a staff member to ask to take our drinks! Starters came the fish cake starter was as though they had taken roe from a tin and deep fried it then changed you £10 for the privilege. Sent these back they were terrible , asked for mussels they came and were tiny ! Finished starters and then waited to ask for more drinks kept putting our hand up like in school to get someone’s attention no one came ! Then the mains came we both required more cutlery and this never came , asked again and only got a fork ! complained to manager he offered free drinks as compensation at this point we got up and left , manager wasn’t bothered just let us go , so shows how much of a bad service it was ! Used to love it here , will never return again ! Ruined our night

Amazing italian restuarant tucked away in West Brom. Great decor and prices. Ordered bruschetta, pasta and pizza. Food was amazing but what sets this restiarant apart is the service, no request too big. Shout out to Francesca our waitress, very attentive and efficient. Definitely worth the trip.

Lovely venue, and a vast menu with lots of choice for all. Wife ordered gluten free pasta but about 20 mins after eating got a bad stomach ache so there is a possibilty of the pasta not being gluten free or contamination which is possible. I orderd a steak which would have been amazing i ordered peppercorn sauce which i was expecting in a pot on the side but the steak which was perfectly cooked was drowned in peppercorn sauce that i was more i ordered peppercorn sauce with a side of steak. Very filling, could not do dessert. I would go back but would be very mindful of what is gluten or not and ask for peppercorn sauce in a pot.

I had my 60th birthday luncheon party with family and friends Sunday 11th Feb 24, I absolutely loved the venue, we were situated in the conservatory area for the private aspect of my party also at my request. I and my party thoroughly enjoyed the food, the location, service and how the staff saw to my every need. A big shout out to Francesca (hope i spelt her name right) who sought me out, introduced herself to me informing she will be the person in charge of my party. Also want to thank the management francesco and son who met with prior to the day to answer any queries and advised they can accommodate whatever I required within reason. The conservatory area was very impressive giving a beautiful atmosphere and ambience. Friends and family was also impressed and plan to have future functions there. I am already planning to return with friends. A big thank you again to Francesca for being my go to girl on the day, also the other staff and bar persons who waited on us. Keep doing what you do, and you will be a success restaurant. We did not stay in the accommodation so can't comment. Marilyn Carbado. X

We ordered the Lobster spaghetti and lamb cutlets for my husband, the lobster spaghetti was goid but the lamb cutlets were ridiculously small portion size and didn't come with any sides which we weren't aware of, very overpriced food not worth it and also not happy that they automatically add 10% service charge to my bill.

Great food and atmosphere!.Really busy place over the weekend, however the service was very good and we had all what we asked for.

Birthday celebration Large party to cater for, but we were well accommodated for. A few minor hiccups, but nothing was unsavageable. Food ranged from pizza and pasta to fish. All appetites were catered for. Well worth another visit.

Staff as always very welcoming Food and service excellent . Swordfish main was perfectly cooked . The Tartufo Limoncello dessert in my books is unbeatable it’s refreshing and light .

Dined here recently for our wedding anniversary, taking advantage of their January “50% off” deal. If you have never visited before, beware this is NOT a quiet, romantic place; far from it. Whatever night is busy and tables get packed together. That leads to background noise and overhearing other diners conversations, especially if they are loud bricklayers trying to impress the lady !. There are few negative comments of late and to be honest I’d say that for us as repeat visitors I agree that things have changed slightly. One person mentioned that when they booked they said that it was to celebrate a birthday and got upgraded to one of the outdoor dining pods. I mentioned our anniversary and got nothing, not even a “happy anniversary”. We dined last year for the Wife's birthday and got the same result. Despite being busy, the order was taken, drinks and then food arrived quickly. The food as usual was excellent. Portions are big - warning ! - and our monkfish with prawns amazing. Deserts list is short, and the other half’s pana cotta was, she said, lovely despite not being served like the one in the photo from another diner. Hers came minus the cream, biscuit and decorated slate. The bill came and didn’t seem to include the correct amount of discount. I queried it and yes, we were £14 short, some considerable difference. Not an insignificant amount. This was rectified so no issue but I could have just paid it. To sum up, we have now visited several times (but not reviewed each one). Our first visit was “wow” but this one wasn’t. Food was great, service ok, but somehow no “wow”.

I ordered the fillet steak but I’ve never had fillet steak so tough.. The main issue for me was when I asked for the bill. We’d had a bottle of very nice wine that was £28 when I checked the bill it was £87…. Some people may just have paid the bill without checking… The waitress took the bill away and brought another with the correct price…Please check your bill and also look out for the service charge. You can ask for the service charge be removed and add your own tip.

Celebrated a milestone birthday at Lucarelli’s in January last year, and returned to mark my most recent birthday this month. I had mentioned on the booking that the occasion would be my birthday, and it was an amazing surprise when the staff explained we would be seated in one of the domes for the evening, without charge! This was very generous, and having this private dining experience really made the evening extra special. We enjoyed being in our own bubble, able to hear everyone in our party without the background conversations of other tables. Temperature and lighting in the dome were great too. Service was very good - friendly, attentive, warm and hospitable. Francesca particularly stood out for these reasons. The food was delicious, and amazing value for money as we had an offer for 50% discount off food. Lots of vegetarian options and portion sizes were great. The staff even put a candle in my dessert and sang ‘happy birthday’, demonstrating they go above and beyond to make customers feel special. We couldn’t fault our experience here, and it was a really memorable occasion. We will be back soon!

I don't even want to give a one star review visited this restaurant with a couple of friends over the weekend we booked a table. When we arrived there was nobody to greet the customers at the door so the entrance the bar and exit all in one place so you have no clue who is waiting at the bar and who is waiting to be seated just chaos. We had to tell the staff twice we had booked a table and waiting to be seated. Eventually we were taken to our table literally cramed in by the next table. We waited almost an hour for someone to take our order we Eventually called one of the staff who said someone would be with us. I noticed people came in after us and served before us. The place is is expensive l ordered lamb cutlets for 20 odd pound not realising l need to order sides at the cost of 5.00 each to go with my lamb. The food wasn't great if l had gone elsewhere l could have had steak and 2 sided for the price of the lamb cutlets. We asked for our bill how they had the nerve to add service charges l will never know. I didn't pay it as they didn't deserve it. Definitely won't be going back and will tell people to stay clear.

What an amazing find this place was while away with work on an overnight stay in the area. I had struggled to find anything but Indian food, which I am not a fan of. The food was some of the best Italian I have ever had and i eat a lot of Italian food. Service was excellent too. Top marks from me which is not an easy thing to be given from myself.

Looking for a local,easy to get to Italian restaurant that serves more than pizza, as with a bit of Google help I found this, good reviews 99% the setting was lovely, we enjoyed every bit, lovely size courses, not to big, and if you leave any , you can take home, we had 3 courses and asked if we could have another bottle to take to bar but the lovely Italian Donato from Puglia said we could stay at the table as it was late and we ordered some olives and some bruschetta to share which ended the evening wonderfully,price wise, a great place for romantic, birthday or just date night, they also have dome rooms if you want a private party. our bill was over £200 but also we had a room stay on top of this bill,the courses where brought to the table in perfect timing, not rushed, look forward to going again and hope our work place has our Christmas do here, from bar staff to waiters I thank you, and Donato I hope your our server next time, grazie

Love love love Lucarelli. Had a pod this time. Despite the cold we were comfortable as heating was provided by a large fan heater. You get a call button for your server for the night and a speaker to link your phone to for your own music. It was great for the 4 of us who wanted it for a special occasion. Food as always was amazing. Service was amazing. Look forward to going again.

We always love eating here - great food, drink and service. We decided to treat ourselves last night and take advantage of the offer we received for 50% off food. However, when we came to pay the staff said that we couldn’t take advantage of this offer as there were 7 people dining and the offer was just for those with less than 7???? It’s a shame - it’s put me off eating there again!

Still my favourite restaurant but not quite the usual 5 star. My mussels in white wine and cream was as tasty as ever but nowhere near enough sauce. I asked for crusty bread and was served concrete toast! Made up for it with the profiteroles which were just scrummy. Another addition to the favourite pudding list😁😁😁

Visited here for a friend's birthday celebration meal. We sat in the back room which was decorated beautifully with flowers and surprisingly very warm even though it was an attachment to the main building. If you are a photo lover like myself then this area has great photo opportunities! Good food and the service from the staff was great, we were a huge party of around 35 people, we all had our food together and most of us seemed to enjoy our dishes. I hsd the calamari starter which i throuroughly enjoyed. Cocktails were lovely with friendly bar staff. Enquired about booking a large group meal in a couple of months as I had a lovely evening here.

Visited 19/12 for lunch with my wife. Other than the salad (looking like it had seen better days) that came with my starter, the other courses were fantastic. Drinks were good and service was first class. Will be visiting again.

I booked a private dome for myself and hubby it was fab, the food and service were both excellent 👌 you can play your own music through the speaker, and the dome is covered in fairy lights and was lovely and warm we will definitely be going back!

We visited on a Saturday lunchtime and opted for the bottomless brunch. Perfect in every way the 4 of us had a fabulous time. Food was beautiful, service was impeccable and drinks were plentiful. We will return.

Very expensive and overrated, been plenty of times before but the quality has dropped somewhat. Also, always look at your receipts as they can put on a large service fee depending on size of the party you're with. It's a hotel which I won't be trying.

I work in West Bromwich so often stay over i have eaten at Lucarelli in The Postbox and the meal was exceptional but this is West Bromwich, it cant compare, can it? Away i needed somewhere to stay and hotel prices where double there normsil rate so I rang Lucarelli and they sorted me a room. Which was very nice for the price in fact much better than anything locally for a similar price. I had a great double bed a huge TV beautiful towles, the water was red hot and the hotel was quite i had the best night sleep in years. I had no intention to eat at Lucarelli but I has soon has i walked in the smell of garlic hit me and when my friend turned up we stayed. Dover sole, the famous fried courgettes and a couple of brwads with cheese and andouille (not sue about spelling). Food was fantastic, service was exceptional and a big thank you to Vinnie for looking after us, I will definitely be back.

Spent an extra £45 for 2 hours in one of their heated outdoor globes . Was worth the money , service and food were excellent. Cocktails were 2 for 1 , food came out hot and was able to play out own music via the Bluetooth speaker. It is a bit more expensive than other restaurants but was worth paying for

We were fortunate enough to have the sun room for a 30th birthday party - needless to say, Frank and the team were FANTASTIC. From the booking process, to the deco and the menu options offered for large parties. The food was amazing! It’s such a beautiful restaurant, with such a wide array of Italian food. All of our guests were so impressed with the beautiful room, food and staff - so much so, many of them have planned to return at later date. I would recommend this place, for not only your next date night or event, but certainly for wanting an authentic Italian, classy experience without the extortionate price tag. 10/10 to Frank and the team.

Great place for special occasions! We had a dome and it was amazing. But you have to pay to be placed in this dome so don't be surprised. It's worth having it for special occasions. Restaurant inside is jice and neat too. Food is real Italian so be prepared for different tastes.

My partner hired a pod for my birthday. At first sight it looks amazing. However one in there is birth poo all over the outside, the light inside had fallen down and some taped back up. We ordered out food the truffle and cheese fried came out stone cold, the Spaghetti bol had no flavour. They forgot about our drink. The cocktails there nice and the children's meal was great value for £7.95. Overall I had a good night was let down by the taste of the food

With a Mid to high price range, this restaurant is one of the hidden gems of West Brom and Sandwell. The food is on par with what you would expect from other prominent locations like, the Cube in Birmingham or Brindly place. So if you are looking for somewhere for a nice Italian dinner date that won't break the bank, has a really nice atmosphere and very accommodating staff Definitely check out Lucarelli.
