Visited on Mother's day, despite very busy with customers, service was top notch with good food.

Had lovely date night meal here. Even though they were extremely busy, we still got our food within respectable amount of time. Really authentic Italian with large portions too. So many dishes on menu that I wanted to try, spoilt for choice, so will be back for more, I’m sure again in the future.

Had a superb meal. Very reasonable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Will go back again.

It was our first time visiting this restaurant. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the soft music, and the excellent service. There were a lot of people, but it wasn’t too noisy. Everything was delicious, though my lobster ravioli didn’t particularly impress me—the strong tomato sauce overpowered the lobster flavor, which was disappointing. My husband’s veal was perfectly cooked, and the vegetables were incredibly tasty. We’ll definitely be back to try more dishes!

The worst "Italian" restaurant in my life. I ordered mussels in tomato sauce as a starter. The mussels were not cleaned AT ALL. They still had beards, the sea net inside the mussels and sand. Even broken and dead mussels were added onto the plate. You could still taste the ocean and dirty water on them. On top of that, they were extremely overcooked and the sauce tasted like the cheapest tomato sauce from a can. For the second dish I ordered a plate of mixed fish in a white wine sauce, butter, garlic and parsley. HAHAHA I was expecting a plate with juicy fish and prawns soaked in a delicious sauce. BUT NO! 10 pieces of insanely overcooked, unwashed fish. With absolutely zero seasoning (not even salt) that were thrown on the grill. And about a teaspoon worth of the sauce. I have never been more disappointed. Oh by the way, you get no salads or sides or anything to your dishes, so on top of paying £30 for disgusting food, you have to pay another £6 to actually finish your food with some salad or side. I do not understand where these good reviews come from. PLEASE listen to me and do not go here. Waste of money and life.

I am writing to express my disappointment with our recent business meal at Lucarelli, which I booked for 12 guests based on a recommendation. Despite the restaurant being pretty much empty, the service was poor. One of the waiters displayed a complete lack of customer service skills, bordering on rudeness, the other who also served us was slightly better. The food itself was average. Two steaks had to be sent back due to being undercooked and one overcooked, and one guest's meal was completely forgotten, arriving late after everyone else had finished. The overall consensus from our party was that the food was mediocre, and certainly not worth the price. The cleanliness of the facilities was not great. Both the male and female toilets hadn't been cleaned to an acceptable standard. It's evident the entire restaurant could benefit from a thorough refurbishment. To summarize, our experience at Lucarelli was average. The combination of poor customer service, inconsistent food quality and facilities could have been cleaner, Maybe as our visit was midweek on an evening, maybe the staff headcount was reduced which resulted in a drop of service in the Kitchen and Restaurant.

The food is very good the atmosphere was very calm with excellent service. Next time I am going to try the outside booth where you and your group sit in a igloo shape perpect structure and have you meal there in the outside area. Over all great time.

Excellent friendly and conscientious service. Nothing is too big an ask. Superb care and discussion for those who are gluten free. Spoilt my Uncle with a birthday Panna Cotta and a candle; a complete surprise. Highly recommend - you pay a bit more, but then you get more! Had parking including blue badge.

10/10 for service and quality of food. Food was of a high standard. Not the cheapest but it's worth every penny. I jad the Chicken in garlic mushroom sauce, my husband had the calzone. He got defeated by it half way and took the other half home.

I paid extra for the dome dining experience at Lucarelli, but it didn’t live up to expectations. It was raining, and staff didn’t think to cover the food until dessert, leaving rainwater in our meals. I requested a bowl for my shells and never received one. The table was set for two but surrounded by eight chairs, creating an awkward atmosphere. While the staff were attentive, they lacked initiative—basic considerations like covering food in the rain should be standard. For the price, the experience felt poorly executed and disappointing.

I booked dome for my husband's birthday. When we got there they were unaware of the booking so wanted to give us a table inside so I had to say we had dome booked which ruined a surprise. The dome didn't look like in pictures , it had no fairy lights, the light inside was very bright. We questioned manager and he said the lights have been removed recently. Inside the dome it was cold though the heater was there but we stayed in our jackets. The speaker for music kept disconnecting so we had to continue connecting it again , a waiter said they are aware of the problem. The flowers on a table had mould. The food was ok but overpriced. Dome experience did not mert my expectations.

Food was great! The amount they give you is generous even the starters are ace. Drinks are standard restaurant price. Even gave us 50% of the food as we had booked online! My only complaint would be the heater was right above my head and did make the room very warm. But other than that would definetely reccomend.

We had an amazing meal at the restaurant. Donato was so friendly and helpful when choosing what to order as so many of the dishes sounded delicious! Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough!

Average at best, rushed service. Food was nothing special and should be better for the price. Dome was ok apart from sticky damaged Bluetooth speaker. Restaurant goers smoke close by. Provided with incorrect meal, mojitos had too much sugar in and no one came back to check on our meals. They were very busy but still it is no excuse.

Ate here last week to celebrate the other half’s birthday. I commented last year that the place had seemed to lose a bit of the sparkle. I’m happy to take that back. The evening was quiet in Lucarelli terms, with quite a few empty tables. We ordered drinks and food quickly; drinks came equally quickly and starters soon after. My calamari came with the wrong dip, which was rectified Immediately. Mains were great. We both chose pasta dishes for a change and both were very good. We were given a dessert to share on the house in light of our celebration which was a really nice touch. Lucarelli can get very busy and noisy as bigger groups come in. Last week was much nicer with the smaller number of diners. We’ll be back….again !

Dined as part of a group of 10 on the Xmas menu. Preordering was simple and there were no issues with the meals ordered. The food was out of this world. Fresh and tasty. A gem of a place in West Brom and one that should be sampled. Service was fast but friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone complimented the experience.

We recently celebrated my sister's wedding lunch at Lucarelli West Bromwich, and it was a 10/10 experience! From the planning stages to the day itself, Vinny and the team were incredibly helpful and organised, ensuring everything went smoothly for the bride & groom and thirty guests. Vinny and Tanvir are an absolute credit to the business – they managed the food and drinks service perfectly, keeping everything on track all while making us all feel completely at ease. The service was exceptional and all staff members helping on the day went above and beyond to make the occasion special. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish perfectly prepared and presented beautifully. The portions were generous as well – so there were plenty of full and happy stomachs at the end of the evening. A huge thank you to everyone at Lucarelli for making the day so memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to celebrate such a special occasion. I would highly recommend to all!

We have been to Lucarelli’s many times and have never been disappointed. Last night we chose one of the pods for a family birthday. The food was excellent and fillet steak was absolutely Devine and cooked to perfection. The service was impeccable. Highly recommended.

Very serene, adaptive, quiet, and comfortable relaxing rooms. Bed were good, no noise making whilst sleeping and rooms tidy and clean. For the price, I believe it was reasonable compared to others used before. I highly recommend them to everyone to try. Dont worry about the pool of people enjoying their launch at the restaurant. Very well-behaved people

As a birthday treat, I was taken here. The garden area is very nice with pods for dining if you choose too. Inside the restaurant is also lovely, clean and welcoming. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. We had the Italian Brunch and wow it was just beautiful and well presented. Food was served hot and we did not have to wait long for it. Best part was the unlimited prosecco, definitely recommend.

A Delightful Family Pizza Experience Driven by our child’s love for pizza, we decided to enjoy a family meal and, after a quick Google search, discovered this cozy restaurant. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our choice. The pizza, especially the "Italiana" and "Capriciosa", was outstanding with its authentic taste. However, it was the desserts that truly made our day, offering a delicious and refined finish to our meal. The restaurant itself is presentable, with a professional and friendly staff that made us feel welcome. The food was not only tasty but also reasonably priced. Everything about our visit was exceptional. We will definitely be returning!

I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. The food is incredible (their signature ravioli is so good that I struggle to even consider a different choice) The gently luxurious atmosphere makes you feel as though you can relax at the same time as being treated to something a little bit special. Staff are attentive but never overbearing. I was particularly impressed by their consideration of access needs when I visited with my brother, whose mobility is extremely limited. Their respectful and inclusive approach ensured that our evening was focussed on family and food, and not, as so often can be the case, on addressing my brother’s needs so that he can enjoy a meal out as naturally as someone without disability. I cannot thank the staff, particularly our waiter Donato, enough. Needless to say, I have returned to Lucarelli’s several times since!

I have only been for food. I've been many times now and we all enjoy it every time. With its own parking it makes it much easier to get to than the one in the mailbox

I've eaten here before, but forgot to take photos of the exterior and interior. A very nice Italian restaurant, service is very good and the food is freshly cooked. The restaurant is nicely decorated. The staff are lovely and accommodating. I cannot comment on the rooms, I had lunch with friends.

Amazing as always The guys never fail to deliver and the food was outstanding. This gem is on our doorstep and we love it every time we go. A warm welcome as soon as you arrive and Aldo Zilli was there this time and we had complimentary Prosecco which was a nice touch.

A regular restaurant for us but this visit seemed extra special. From the moment we walked in Francesco greeted us like old friends and knew without asking our favourite table. He also offered us our favourite wine, despite not being able to get it for several months, somehow he remembered. Donato made it special by decanting the wine and letting it breathe and all the way through the meal (we never rush so we’re talking a couple of hours) was attentive and never let us run out, pouring the wine whenever we got low. We were never hurried to make a decision over the menu and although always ready the waiters will let you take time as necessary. Tanvir is always ready to converse without being intrusive and also offers good menu advice. I would always recommend trying the “Surf and Turf”, an all time favourite of mine. Half a lobster (in Thermidor sauce) with a fillet steak. The steak is always cooked to perfection and this is one of very few restaurants I trust to cook my steak “blue” properly. It is always perfect and my husband who has his rare says the same. A short but very delicious dessert menu, my only gripe being no cheese board…. but even so, it’s so very tempting that I always pick something. The cocktail menu is also fantastic and cocktails done properly. Overall always a romantic and exclusive experience and everyone makes you feel individual and special.

Sounds strange but from the moment we entered Lucarelli's, it felt like a proper restaurant experience. Friendly welcome, good service and quality food and drinks. Not the cheapest but definitely worth it. Even if I'm not eating here in future, I'd be quite happy stopping off for a drink and relax in the garden which felt like a little oasis amongst the tower blocks and surroundings of West Brom. Look forward to returning soon.

Great room cum marquee on a beautiful day...Love the calmness...Love the Pods...The food was the best I have tasted in ages!!...Great starter (Prawn/Garlic bread and Chicken Pepperoni ams tomato sauce)..My wife had Fishcake and Chicken White wine and Garlic..Very very good...Clean environment too!

This is one of the best restaurants in West Bromwich - not only are the staff incredibly courteous, but the food is amazing! We have dined here in both the private dining domes and as normal guests and both experiences were great. The private dome is great for a special occasion! Highly recommend!

B&B without breakfast is misleading

5 stars! Absolutely amazing service!! The staff couldn’t do enough for us. I would truly recommend to visit here for any purposes. The food is excellent, superb and the decoration is one of a kind and made us feel comfortable!! We’ve been here before and defo will be back Florin and Viny were both amazing and made us feel really welcome once we arrived and accommodated every need and exceeded our expectations and huge compliments to the chef as the food was spectacular!!

Absolutely vile restraunt! Nothing like the mail box. Ordered lamb cutlets 99% bone 1% meat I then showed the waiter pictures of how lamb cutlets should be… he told me no. Every establishment is different? Surely serving a plate with barely anything on there isn’t right?! I refused the food. Potatoes were saturated in oil no flavour no seasoning. I will never ever come back to this restaurant.

The first time I came here was for our wedding day 2023 and have returned time and time again. July 2024 we went back to celebrate our wedding anniversary and enjoyed a wonderful meal. Staff are professional, friendly and polite. We will be back in the near future.

Stayed with kids for a weekend in Birmingham. Vini and his entire team were very professional and friendly. We arrived quite late, but receptionist called us to reassure that they will be someone to check us in, also helped us with directions. Vini- the host: ensured the kitchen took our order despite it being closed and served us delicious meals at 10:00pm. They are other restaurants nearby, so the hotel could have easily mentioned that the kitchen is closed. Hotels going extra mile to give this level of service is quite rare. By the way, the restaurant is quite popular in the area for events so it is always busy. We stayed here for 2 nights, and ate at the restaurant. Definitely staying here. Rooms are spacious, but not air conditioned. That did not bother us, as we could leave the window open and it was quite cool by midnight. Look no further...if you would like a cosy place and affordable! By the way there is a lot of parking at the premises which is free and handy.

Went for our 51st wedding anniversary, the place was clean and very white plasticy. It has no character. The food and service was fine, but the location was not. It looks like an industrial area.

Another superb meal at Lucarelli West Brom. Staff always make us feel so welcome. Donato knows just how we like our drinks and makes sure everything is right. Very attentive to detail. Always the warm welcome from Francesco at the door too Nothing is ever too difficult and every time we go it is special.

Booked a last minute table for 8. What can I say it was wonderful, a lovely restaurant, impeccable service. Slightly on the pricier side but service and food worth it. Had a variety of meals between us from scallops to pasta & pizza dishes plus a variety of starters, everyone commented how good it was. Staff attentive without being overbearing, super friendly and professional. Very impressed and will certainly be back. What a gem!

(We ate in the restaurant but were not staying in the hotel) A little oasis in the middle of West Brom! High end restaurant with gold standard service and food. All pasta dishes available with gluten free penne pasta but otherwise no dedicated gluten free options. However, the staff were very kind and understanding and were prepared to adapt the dishes to my needs resulting in pan seared scallops in a gluten free tomato, chilli and garlic sauce for my starter. I had lobster with gf pasta for my main. No gluten free dessert options other than sorbet but overall a wonderful experience with an amazing cocktail menu and a great bar. Beautiful decor and lovely ambience.

Deliciously Divine Dinning Decadence!! Never having been to Lucarellis' Restaurant there is always trepidation about how the night will progress especially on a Friday night..... but there was absolutely no need. There's private parking at the side and everywhere is accessible with none of those sneaky hidden trippers either. A warm welcome goes hand in hand with a contemporary lux interior and the presence of white tablecloths, shining glasses, intimate table lighting and piano music playing .... All come together with the happy reality of a lovely time ahead. Arriving at 7.30 the main indoor restaurant was jumping with laughter and relaxed conversation. We asked if we could get a quieter table as my 80 year old parents experience selective hearing..ie he refuses to wear his hearing-aid....so we were taken to the terrace (fully enclosed, lit and heated) which to say is a special place, is an understatement. And beyond lay the garden with what must be 3 covid hangovers ..... 3 plastic iglooesk dining domes .... with enough space for 8 ....totally enclosed away from the weather.....and there are warm "fairy" lights everywhere....and wisteria cascading from the ceiling of the terrace. The effect was .... dare I say transcendental and I haven't even started on the food!!! I think the first few words of this epic says it all with regards to the food........and I encourage you to get your thumb walking and phone or reserve online for that special night out.... or just because.🙂😄😁 A Big THANK-YOU to all the staff and Chef for adding to cherished memory making.

Amazing food and a very nice owner.

With a group of 8, I tried the lasagne. The presentation wasn't brilliant as it had all slid to one side of the dish. It's wasn't as good as the price suggested it should be. My calamari starter and profiterole desserts were wonderful. Great atmosphere with background live music. Waiters were attentive but not overpowering.

Visited here earlier this month to celebrate a friends birthday lunch. I haven’t visited here for a couple of years despite working practically next door! My friend wanted to visit an Italian 🇮🇹 restaurant and wanted to go local rather than in Birmingham City Centre where I visited its sister restaurant in April. The restaurant was lovely and food was fantisco! Staff were friendly and attentive- the birthday girl enjoyed her meal and we will definitely visit again !

Fantastic food and service great value for money

Came here for dinner last night with my wife and in-laws. Fantastic and delicious food and super cocktails. Tiramisu I'd say was a little weak in lacking coffee flavour but overall couldn't knock the food or drink. Staff excellent. The veal/chicken and pasta dishes along with a side of potatoes we had was just fantastic. You could easily have a 3 course meal and just about feel satisfied.
