LoveGift Vegan in Lewisham

Matina and staff at LoveGift really know how to nourish the mind and body. Food is freshly prepared and served in style that soothes. I've had snacks, meals and cakes.

Went out of their way to deliver really nice food miles away from their normal area on Christams Day to visitors from out of town. A really pleasing experience with very nice staff. The communication was excellent.

Visité en verano con amigos y me quedé impresionado por la deliciosa comida vegana. No podía esperar para traer a toda mi familia, así que reservé para la noche antes de que mi hijo regresara a la universidad para una comida familiar. Nos sorprendió que solo hubiera un plato en oferta: el Rainbow Platter, pero como mi esposo lo había comido en el verano, sabíamos que era bueno. Tenía muchas ganas de desayunar caribeño, pero dejé a un lado mi decepción y me preparé para mi plato. Cuando llegó nuestra comida, ¡estaba deliciosa pero tan pequeñas porciones! No teníamos un plato cada uno (opciones grandes y pequeñas, pedimos 2 grandes y 3 pequeños) sino cuencos pequeños con los diferentes platos. Algunos de los platos eran para compartir con apenas una cucharada cada uno. ¡Solo había 2 bolas de masa hervida entre nosotros 5 y nuestra comida familiar de celebración terminó en unos 20 minutos! Algunos de nosotros comimos pastel y natillas para el pudín, pero apenas estuvimos allí durante una hora y gran parte de ese tiempo no lo dedicamos a la comida. No tengo fotos para publicar, ¡los pequeños tazones de comida no eran buenas fotos!

Una comida vegana absolutamente deliciosa compartida en compañía de amigos, que incluye platos como macarrones con queso, germen de trigo, arroz, dhal, samosas, etc. Grandes porciones y muy sabroso. Recientemente se abrió una nueva tienda en Lewisham, y nuestra cena fue atendida por este lugar. ¡Creo que esto se convertirá en un 'local' para mí en el futuro! Demasiado bueno para resistir!

Comida vegana lo suficientemente decente, de gran valor para las porciones, especialmente las galletas saladas. Podría tener algunos más de esos. También muy buena mezcla de tipos de comida vegana. Pero no es amigable para los perros, lo cual es ridículo. Así que no volveré y les recomendaría a mis compañeros vegetales que también se den la vuelta.

I visited the Lee high road branch today for a quick lunch.This visit by myself as a previous a friend introduced me to this place.I must say staff are friendly,polite.The food was lovely with the twist of being carribean food.Freshly squeezed juices some being fruits from Africa.Whilst you eat the sound of lovely background music laying adds to the chilled out vibe of jazz,reggae etc.A selection of pait work displayed on walks that are from local Artists which you can actually purchase.Each picture has a story information about it and artist.There are a few cabinets, bookcase selling books,crystals, herbal teas from Jamaica, africa.The customers are diverse.The whole experience is lovely and this little gem on Lee high Road nearer to Eltham end not lewisham.This place is like being in Greenwich or even Brixton where there is soooo much little restaurant like this.Lovegift vegan definitely is on par with these restaurants.This is my vegan place to go for sure. 👍👍👍

LoveGift Vegan the name says it all. The food is so divine and me my friends was so welcome the staff and owner excellent customer service and the food and drinks soooo good.

I visited today and had a tasty mixed platter. The decor is divine and the young man who served me was polite and very pleasant. I was glad I chose to go to Lee High Rd location and enjoy once again the vegan cuisine. I shall be back.

First visit today after noticing the place last week. It’s more of a relaxed cafe than a restaurant but is open until 7pm on Sundays so you can get an evening meal there. My husband and I both had the large mixed plates which were £12 each, essentially abit of everything. It was lovely, well balanced and comforting, I particularly loved the daal and the beancurd but everything was good. It was plenty of food for lunch. Service was great and the food was really quick to arrive as the platter components are already prepared. There aren’t that many tables so might be worth getting there early if you’re in a bigger group. The venue now takes payment by card so you don’t have to do a mad dash to the cash point. Will definitely be back.

Lovely tasty menu it is too. We all loved the food and the homely feel. We all thought it is the best vegan pizza we've ever had. Even the vegan among us. The mixed platter was great too with lots of variety and flavour. A new fave for us. ♥️

Food made with love! The kind of food that makes you feel amazing when you eat it. Love the vibe created by the owners and so glad they're in Lee now. 💚

I've visited twice, and I really want to like this place. It's very near home, and I completely support the vegan concept. There are three problems I think: the food is a bit bland, theres not much for your money (this large plate is £12.50), but quite upsetting is that it feels as if some people are more welcome than others. If it is a community centre for specific people, that's fine, say so, and I'll know not to come! I'm really very disappointed since I'd be very happy to support a local vegan restaurant.

This place got me all interested in vegetarian food. I was pleasantly surprised with the variety and taste. The presentation is amazing and always on point. If I have not been for a while I miss this place. What I love too is the variety of different cultures that I see when I visit. That makes me feel good. The owner is one angel you need to meet in this lifetime, even if it is just for her energy.

We went with a party of six (one of our birthday) and arrived late due to transport chaos. They were so helpful. We all went for the rainbow plate and we wanted to try everything. It was all delicious including some things I have never tasted. The atmosphere was so friendly we almost felt as if we had been to a friend's house for dinner rather than a restaurant.

LoveGift makes me sad.. it feels like you've stepped in to someone's front room.. and you're not welcome. As a vegan I was super excited to find out there was a vegan place so close by. The food is nice and the ethos of love and warmth is great.. but you just don't feel it.

The variety of vegan dishes were great to try and tasted great! My mum and I both loved the afrocentric atmosphere and the reggae music playing in the background really set it off. Love it, great local spot :)
