Love Thy Burger in Norwich

It’s happened twice now so it wasn’t a bad day. Business has recently been taken over (they told me). New owners haven’t got a clue! They self admittedly can’t get all their ordering systems to work, the food quality has gone downhill, and the service has gone MASSIVELY down hill. Can’t put a full order together, and can’t give you hot food. A once great takeout has been ruined and I will not be using it again.

Great burgers. Huge. Pricey but ultimately worth it

USE TO BE really nice kebab from here..ordered tonight as being 30 seconds drive down the road from me and still charged a delivery fee even tho i ordered direct .. fair enough... but the fact the driver couldn't be bothered to get out the car and actually deliver to my door and called my phone whilst i was getting my son to sleep so I then had to bring my son with me to the car park to collect my food and restart all over again... when I started eating... the amount of grease coming off the meat was so sickly it was almost in edible. And soaked onto the little salad i had and dry/stale pitta they provided ..not how it use to be at all... the burgers use to be really nice too but after this experience i probably won't be able to tell if they still are.... only reason for 2 stars is because this use to be really nice place to eat but this time around was shocking and has put me off... I can only hope they fix it as won't be ordering again for a LONG LONG time

Ordered the boss box which was £16.99, was a little disappointed with the small amount of food actually inside the box and the food wasn’t the best either

Very disappointing service. They accepted our order despite not having the ingredients. After waiting 20 minutes, we were told they hadn’t even started preparing it due to this. To make matters worse, they offered a vegan alternative that included halloumi, which isn’t even vegan

Order was incorrect yet now way to contact them! The phone number is never answered so no way to resolve. Absolute joke! Don’t use. Extremely disappointing.

We have actually ordered from here many times but this is the first time I’ve been disappointed in the service I ordered at around 18:15 was told delivery for 19:00 called at 19:30 as no delivery still and was told it was on its way I tried calling up again many times as I had to leave for my night shift and no answer it’s now 21:30 and still no delivery and still no answer I’ve also emailed for a refund.

Ordered for delivery and the online order was cancelled by the restaurant on just eat

Terrible place just lately. Order for collection and it's never reasy when we go yo collect it and then they always manage yo get the order wrong. Won't be going back again to soon

Recently I eat burgers from them and I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The burger was outstanding—juicy, perfectly seasoned, with a homemade coleslaw which I love it. The staff was friendly and prompt and the atmosphere was welcoming. Tnx guys

Ordered via Just Eat. No Pittas with the kebab, also ordered extra pitta and got nothing. The burger bun was hard and stale and the burger patty smelled. I took one bite, threw the whole order in the bin. Disgusting!

Wish I had read the reviews before ordering, been waiting nearly 2 hours and still not arrived, been trying to call for half an hour with no luck at all. Assuming will never receive our food.

Food was 3 hours late and cold and too much oil to actually eat won't be ordering from love thy burger again.

Quite possibly the worst burger I have ever had. Delivery ETA 40 mins, arrival 2hrs+. Ended up calling Deliveroo as restaurant didn’t answer the phone.

Crap. Ordered online the 50% off pizzas. Followed the online vit where it says preparing and then out for delivery... anyway.. after 2 hours I gave up waiting. Many calls to the shop but nobody answered. Ordered elsewhere. Well peed off. Never again

Coleslaw was missing from order and the burger wasn't nice also the chicken kebab and chips was vile that defo wasn't chicken

Never in my life have I had such a poor experience with FAST food, arrived 2 hours and 10 minutes after order, website said 40 mins, after false promises from the poor lad who kept answering the phone, it eventually turned up but was cold despite being told it was "cooked 30 minutes ago" and then! After reluctantly attempting to eat the food as we were starving, I pulled a small piece of plastic from my mouth from the milkshake, after washing the cup out we found there were several pieces in the bottom of my cup (see photos). I work in customer service and I never leave reviews because I know how important they are to the business but this is beyond dissatisfaction, this is a health and safety risk. I am literally gobsmacked, I hope it was a mistake although I fear it was a malice act performed by disgruntled staff for calling them and chasing updates. If you do order here, I urge you to check the contents of your order.

Tried for the first time tonight, the burger was ok nothing special but arrived nearly cold, sort your delivery out guys what's the point in having a so called decent burger which arrived cold, also had the rosemary chips which we could smell as took delivery of the order and no wonder why as we must of had a quarter of a bottle of rosemary on the chips rendering them practically inedible, sorry guys but it was a let down and won't be ordering again.

Ordered a burger and fries this evening. Delivery was super fast. The burger was cooked to perfection super tasty and so meaty I am stuffed. This is now my favourite burger place. Will be ordering again

Online ordering should have a build your own option. I have a milk allergy (rashes), so I ordered a vegan burger but removed the vegan patty and asked for a beef patty. Then removed vegan cheese, because I dont like cheese. Because of the changed, I was given a normal milk brioche bun and normal cheese (I still didn't want cheese). This rendered my order useless to me and I could only eat the chips. I'm glad my husband called because I was suspicious.

First time is the best on this and it was banging!! Scorchio is sooo good.

1st time we tried it few months back juicy hot and very tasty. Tonight....poor. it was cold dry and very average. We ordered a kebab and had barely 5 pieces of lamb. Won't be using this place again. Very disappointing especially as 1 x burger, 1 x kids meal and a kebab was £30!!

Ordered 16" Kebab Box...at 15:14 Arrived 16:50. Even ETA was meant to be 30min, Driver was a very kind chap explaining that reason he is Late was bad traffic, Food was cold and chips soaked in Fat, 50% of box was single lair of chips other 70% doner meat with rest of 30% mix of 5 piece Chicken kebab 5 piece of Lamb Shish and some Chicken Doner. Convinced with pictures I found on google I believed of size of portion being more for value of money 40£ Instead I get 14£ worth of mixed kebab with two small portions of chips in 16" pizza box. (Dissapointed) Well now, it's not a first time I've been let down by delivery on JustEat app, it's basically everytime than driver assigned is an Employee of shop rather JustEat themself, but come one! what are we trying to fool here? Ordered mixed kebab,landed straight in the bin, next time better to drink a litre of oil,absolutely awful! Never again!

Ordered from here for the first time tonight, and it did not disappoint. The prices were reasonable when you look at the quality and quantity which you get for your money and the delivery was quick. We'd definitely come back here and recommend to friends and family

Don't spend your money on such an experience as mine was, preorder 30 mins late, rude driver, cold food..never again!

Walked in and ordered a side salad. It has to be the smallest sale I have seen! A few bits of lettuce,tomato,onion and a couple of bits of cucumber! Definitely not worth the £3.50 I paid. Didn't help that it was practically thrown at me as well. Will not recommend.

I ordered from Love Thy Burger to a hotel at UEA and the driver (employed by the shop, not a deliveroo driver) called me to inform me that he was parked at a location within the University. He asked where I was, and I told him the exact name of the hotel I was in (which should’ve been enough to find it). He very rudely said that he didn’t know where it was and repeated his current location (I presume somewhere near the uni entrance, which is very far from the hotel). I informed him that I was visiting (which is why I am staying at a hotel) and was not familiar with the area and did not know where he was referring to. I also advised him to just put the hotel name on google maps, as it was very straightforward to find when I got here. He refused and asked me if I could locate anything near me to help him locate the hotel. I told him that I could see what looked like the student union (literally answering his question). He then started shouting and saying that he wouldn’t know what that was as he’s 50. Again, I was literally answering his question. He then shouted that he was not going to move his car and did not deliver my food. I waited for over 45 minutes for that delivery, despite deliveroo stating that it would take 20 minutes. The driver was extremely rude the entire time and did not actually want to listen to what I was saying. He kept repeating that I needed to help him navigate despite me emphasising that I do not know the area, and even after I did help him by answering his question about my surroundings. I would like to state that when I called the restaurant, the owner was receptive of what I was saying and did approve the refund. However, it was overall a horrible experience and I waited for over 45 minutes to not get any food.

Awesome burger bar. Been here for takeaway several times and always consistently amazing. Got delivery one time and it was delivered really quickly. I recommend this place to all my friends.

Just eat confirms a time then keeps changing the expected time arrived over an hour after ordering and then food was barely warm when arrived.

Delicious and different. The burgers have unique and delicious combinations of toppings. The wraps are also really good!Talented, polite and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Onion tasted old I paid for a chicken and dinner kebab only received a chicken with no dinner asked for spicy sauce and received ketchup. Rubbish overall

I wanted to love this but asked for medium cooked burger & it was quite tough & arrived barely warm. I do live out in Horsford so that might be why but was a bit gutted as I was soooo looking forward to it

After waiting for our delivery which exceeded the sorry your delivery is late time it finally arrived. I have to say this is the worst burger I have ever tasted and left most of it on my plate. with the price you are charging I was at least expecting something I could actually eat.

One of my favourite places to order from but was a little disappointed tonight - chips we warm but soggy and the burgers were so spicy. usually never have a complaint and I will definitely order again although could have been better tonight.

For about the same price as a Macdonald's meal you can get a proper chargrilled burger. Always good service. Probably quicker than sitting in the drive thru waiting. And you CAN GET A MILK SHAKE ALWAYS

Fancied a burger but we don't like McDonalds or BK as IMHO They don't sell burgers google searched for burgers that could be delivered and Love Thy Burger came up, 5 mins later we'd ordered and 30 mins later they arrived with a smile from the delivery guy Well Service is Good, what about the Burgers ? Well they were LOVELY, juicy patties cooked as we requested Medium, the toppings were tasty and the sauces just the right amount, Rosemary fries, onion rings just made a great burger PERFECT, will be ordering again, oh and the milk shakes now that what milkshakes should be.. 10 OUT OF 10
