Really nice, 50's style without being too over the top. Nice drinks and great, relaxed area down stairs. A great place to go with friends.

Teníamos un bono de groupon por 6 cócteles. No esperar la acogida y atención que era excepcional. Aunque el lugar se suponía que iba a ser cerrado por una fiesta en la sala de actos de la planta baja sirve cristiana nos preguntamos 6 excelentes cócteles y cada vez nos estaban bien. Los cócteles que servían eran algunos de los mejores i y mi esposa y yo hemos tenido. Como dice las pocas horas que estuvimos allí fuimos tan rápidamente porque de los cócteles y el barman excelente. Antes de que termináramos un cóctel que me preguntó qué lado queríamos y pasamos tiempo de organizar la copa al lado. Servicio, atención de bienvenida, cócteles y todos eran geniales. No puedo esperar a volver siempre que te sirven por cristiano. Gracias.

Thought it would be great to treat my partner to a few cocktail so travelled a long distance across london to get there as i booked six cocktail so sat there went to order a cocktail and the person told us its only four cocktails on the meau so ordered and they came in tumbles glasses so couple of sips and gone would recommend no one to go as cocktails where rubbish service was shocking not happy with the meau of drinks at all

Decoración gastadas, gastadas servicio y sillas incómodas y cócteles aguada.Para ser justos, nos vuelve con un bono de groupon para 4 cócteles antes un bocado antes de teatro para comer, así que aún estaban estableciendo... pero realmente no puedo entender los otros 5 * comentarios.Google dice que a las 4 pm, abierto aparecimos en 4:45 pero nos dijeron que eran de configuración y no está abierta hasta las 5 de la tarde, volvimos a las 5:05 pm pero aún cerradas, volvimos a las 5:15 y todavía cerradas, así que tuvimos que preguntar si podíamos entrar y nos dejaron entrar.Presentado el cupón y estás limitado a 4 opciones y tres de ellos eran multimillonarios. Me dan que no hacer mucho en estas ofertas, pero sin duda lo que la gente en y con el impresionarles, espero que comprar más, volver o recomendar. No hay punto de llegar gente en una oferta no hacen mucho dinero, sólo para ellos. decepciónPedimos nuestros cócteles y, para ser justos, el personal era educado y los cócteles estaban aguados, pero sabía bien.La decoración era sencilla y cansados y las sillas eran incómodas.No había nada de ambiente porque era temprano. Después de unos 10 minutos, ponen música que luego fuimos después de 1 vía y no vuelvas otra vez. Teníamos el segundo cóctel y nos marchamos de allí.Con los otros 5 * comentarios, este lugar debe haber algo, pero miré y no podía encontrarlo. Lo siento pero es un gran rechazo de mí :-).

Vinimos aquí antes de nuestra noche de comedia en Camden.En primer lugar compramos un groupon pensando que esto sería una buena idea y experiencia en un lugar diferente.La ubicación es muy buena... Que es donde termina.Ante todo, nos dijeron que la había dejado pero groupons honrado que de todos modos era algo que no habían hecho su final, así que no era nuestra culpa.En segundo lugar, las opciones de cócteles eran bastante horrible! Me dijeron que 2 de ellos fuera de los 8 tenían, no estaban disponibles.Luego, cuando hicimos nuestro pedido tardaron más de media hora para que nuestras bebidas, el lugar no estaba lleno!!Muy decepcionante y no recomendaré cualquier momento pronto!

The bartenders (Chris&Gero) were out of this world, more than accommodating when it came to recommendations and preferences. We had a great laugh with them but didn't feel that they were unprofessional given the setting. 10/10 will be back with friends!

Popped into this coffee shop by day cocktail bar by night while we were staying close by on a Friday night it was a bit quiet when we arrived and as soon as we sat down we were given a friendly welcome and a glass of water by one of the guys working there,they didn't have the cocktails we wanted so we had one made off the menu especially which was delicious.....and very strong as was the 2nd one my friend and I had,know I know what the glass of water was for! the atmosphere is lovely here and as we left the bar was filling up,we walked past the next night (sat) and people were sitting outside and it looked very busy,it's obviously a popular spot,it's in a great location and prices are as expected for this,around £10 per cocktail which is reasonable,we'll pay another visit when we're back in the area

Decidimos entrar para un cóctel como llegamos temprano para una reserva local de la cena. Agradable bienvenida por el personal y un buen servicio. Un lugar encantador para descansar y un poco retro y alrededores modernos. Los cócteles eran sangre naranja Colin y encantadora y fresca. Para esta zona 9 libras es un buen precio para un buen cóctel. Nos volveremos, ya que es un cambio agradable de los pubs locales y tiene un ambiente más relajado de un bar de hotel.

Gorgeous little place… interesting décor, downstairs is fantastic with big velvet sofas and big projector. Cocktails are thoughtful and delicious… as well as well priced. Will be back again. Great little find.

Habiendo encontrado buenas críticas de este sitio en internet, quería llevar a mi novia para algunos cócteles en su noche de cumpleaños. Se decía que estaban abiertas hasta las 11.30, pero a nuestra llegada a las 9.45, nos dijeron que sólo nos pudimos quedar por diez minutos para beber como lo estaban cerrando temprano debido a la falta de negocios. Había un pequeño grupo, sentarse en una mesa para beber cuando llegamos, así que no podía entender por qué no parecen interesados en nuestro exclusivo y quiere doble nos para poder cerrar temprano. Como mi pareja y trabajar en la industria de la hospitalidad que nos enorgullecemos en un buen servicio al cliente, nos anonadados por qué un relativamente nuevo de negocios no quiere recibir a nuevos clientes. Esto no animarnos a volver en el futuro, ya que parece que no toman suficientemente en serio su negocio. Como resultó que terminamos teniendo una noche muy agradable en otro bar de cócteles, así que no todo perdido de nuestra parte.

Un amigo mío me recomendó este lugar y después de ver que, una vez que decidí hacer mi 25 cumpleaños. Yo alquilar abajo que es más un salón con una decoración única y una pantalla, que es una adición encantadora. También hay un bar en la planta baja exclusiva para mí y mis clientes. El servicio de atención al cliente era genial, no tengo ninguna queja. Mis amigos no paran de hablar sobre ello, así que me alegro mucho de haber elegido este lugar. Ve y visita, incluso si es para una bebida o un café que no te arrepentirás!

New York needs Love Die Late on this side of the pond! It's both EVOCATIVE of the sweet and comforting place and time we have all been too in our memories, and PROVOCATIVE in its swanky, classy vibe as well. Thanks to the meticulous attention to detail and decor, this spot avoids the cheeky, cliche theme bar look and truely is a gem of nostalgia done just right ,combining sweet and sexy at the same time. See you in August. We are booking our hotel stay as close as possible so we can enjoy the coffee this time and have more cocktails by night :) Stumbled upon it on our travels and booking our upcoming visit at a hotel as close as possible to Love Die Late this summer.

if you are looking for a fun venue with superb cocktails, you have to check out this place! I held my 30th birthday in the downstairs of Love Die Late and it was brilliant. The staff were amazing and really attentive, music was great, good cocktails - we all had a great time.

Despite being a coffee fiend I haven't been during daylight hours to get a cup of joe yet (though have heard great things). We did however book a large space upstairs for a friends leaving do and I can safely say that this is one of my new favourite watering holes. Everything from the cocktails, to the atmosphere, and music was top notch - all very cool. There's a brilliant space downstairs as well for private functions though on our dates it was booked. As well as tying together 2 of my favourite pastimes - drinking coffee and alcohol, what makes this place truly stand out from the umpteen bars in Fitzrovia and the West End is the incredibly friendly staff, particularly Felicia, Robin and Eric who were incredibly accommodating to all our requests. Will be back soon for lattes and booze!

This is the second visit for us, first time we went as a couple and had cocktails in the bar upstairs. Second visit was with family and friends, we hired the downstairs bar. The venue and staff were fantastic. We will definitely visit again.

The interior design has a unique cool and retro feel to it, beautifully decorated. The staff were really friendly- I hired the basement for a party and the whole experience could not have been any more perfect. Great drinks too! One of the coolest places in London- definitely worth a visit!

The place we were going to go for brunch was closed and I'm so glad it was because we then stumbled upon this place.They didn't have mimosas on the menu but that didn't stop the male member of staff nipping out to get us everything he needed and juicing the oranges himself! I've never known anywhere to do that! Absolutely fantastic service here.We got to sit downstairs which is of course a little dark but we got it all to ourselves and they even out on a bond film on in the background. It's a bit pricey but it is the centre of London so that is to be expected.When I return to London I will gladly make a visit here for some yummy food and cocktails.

I came across this beautiful cocktail bar after work and had a wonderful experience. I am a girl who loves her cocktails! The cocktails were so tasteful and delicious, I am so eager to come back next week to try more! The venue decor is nothing like I've ever seen before, so romantic and warm! I highly suggest this place if you are looking for something that is stylish and classy! A great starter for a girls night out!

Absolutely appalling customer service!A 12.5% service charge was added to every drinks order. No service was provided, except pouring the drink and handing it across the bar. When questioning this we were told it was 'none of our business'You can of course ask for the service charge to be removed. That's if you know it's on the bill as the bill isn't itemised and the service change is stated in small font only on the cocktail menu. When ordering a beer or a spirit it is unlikely you'll look at the cocktail menu. Doubles are also poured as standard. If you don't want to pay £9!!!! for a G&T ensure you specify you would like a single. Such a shame as it's always nice to support small businesses but with an unclear pricing policy and such appalling customer service Love Die Late makes it impossible.

Went with a large group of people - realised into the visit that service was charged at the downstairs bar but not the upstairs bar. Neither offered table service so this seemed strange. Service was being added on a single bottle of beer and the cost of identical rounds varied. Other members of the group had large amounts added onto the cost of a bottle of wine.When asking for a gin and tonic doubles were automatically poured, after pointing this out to the barman his response was "All venues do this". Customers should be offered the option of doubling up. We were told to order stating we wanted a single with no service added... sort of takes the fun out of going out!

I've lived in London most of my life and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had in a bar. Shortly after arriving we realised that the bar man was charging 12.5% service charge on top of every drink order. This would have been fine if we were having table service but we were simply ordering our own drinks and carrying them over to the table ourselves. When we queried this we were told that we needed to specify if we didn't want to pay the service charge. We asked for a refund on the service charge or credit at the bar as we were ordering large rounds (and subsequently paying a hefty service charge) but were refused. We were literally robbed! Bottom line is don't waste your time - there are plenty of dark alleyways you can go to if you want to be professionally robbed.

If you enjoy being repeatedly robbed while drinking a cocktail in a petit wine glass then this is absolutely the place for you.Went with a very large group and was charged a service charge on one of the bars but not the other. Having investigated further, it does state clearly in the menu in size two two italics that they enjoy taking your money without you realising. When we complained, the manager basically told us that we were all poor and disgraceful. To be fair to him, nearly a fiver added onto a £35 round is generally what I expect when I leave my wallet on the table with notes sticking out and a sign saying 'please take my hard earned cash' on it. And obviously I did that. My bad. On a positive note I'll never go there again, so that's nice.

Coffee snob heaven in the daytime. Absolute yum!Deliciously inventive cocktails in the evening. Came with a group of girlfriends on a Friday evening, everyone is up for coming back again soon!

My new favourite London find! The perfect addition to central London - great date spot, delicious cocktails and downstairs let us party till late! Perfect for after work drinks too! Such a nice vibe and helps that the staff are to die for!

Stumbled across this place on a miserable rainy night, it was near closing time but the staff took pity on our soggy selves and let us in for last orders. So glad they did...such a cute place, cocktails hit the spot! Need to come and revisit this place in the day. Thank you!

I held a team get together at LDL on Monday and it was a great venue and such a refreshing change from places that we normally run workshops. Robin and his team bent over backwards to make the event as we wanted it and were so helpful as we were doing the planning. The downstairs space was perfect, the staff couldn't have been more helpful (and flexible when we wanting to change timings for lunch and orders). We're all crazy about coffee and were wowed by theirs too! And it was a nice relaxed space to end our day with cocktails and chilling out together. I'd highly recommend it for an event.

Everyone has the best coffee if you ask. But once you try this one you ll finally believe that!!! Nice atmosphere, good coffee and good service. The right combination you need!

I was walking in Great Portland Street and I discovery this lovely place. The atmosphere was amazing, the staff was very friendly and the coffee was amazing.I visited almost all the coffee shop in the area and finally I found the best place for my morning coffee.

We visited this place for a private party. It seems to be a fine venue and I cannot comment on its normal function as a cafe/cocktail bar, but....I ordered a bottle of wine at the bar and 2 glasses which the wine list said was £28. This duly arrived and I handed over £30 and a minute later the staff member came back from the till to advise that the cost was £31.50. No, I said, here is the wine list it is £28.No, they said it is £31.50.But you have not given me any service, just a bottle of wine, I said.It is a service charge, they said.I do not wish to pay your service charge, I said.It is a service charge, they said.The wine list and cocktail menu does not mention a service charge, discretionary or otherwise, I said.It is a service charge, they said.At this point I gave up. It seems that every drink that was bought at the bar that evening was subject to a service charge. If I had been visiting as a normal customer I would have gone elsewhere. It is outrageous that they impose a non discretionary service charge for every drink served at the bar.

The staff went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable. They even ran to a shop and bought supplies as they didn't have what we were looking for. Food & drinks were lovely, price very reasonable and staff amazing. Highly recommend.

Hubby and I popped in for a quick cocktail. I didn't fancy any on the menu so mixologist knocked me up a Cosmo. :) Quirky, cool place with fun decor. Great service, polite staff. Hope to visit again soon!

Visited here on Saturday evening after a few drinks at a local pub. Have to say their cocktails are beautiful - potent yet really tasty! Must have got the better of me as I left my mobile in the bar! Luckily, these wonderful people have offered to send it back to my sunny Lancashire home! Thanks very much!!

I went to Love Die Late for the first time yesterday for lunch and coffee. I love everything about this place! It's ambience and decor are unusual and fresh. There was a lovely buzz but it's not one of those loud coffee places. The staff were friendly and helpful and apparently the young guy barista is award-winning. His coffee was divine! The owner was around too - a very personable guy who obviously cares about quality in everything. I also love that it's a couple of minutes from Oxford Circus i.e. away from the hoards of tourists but close enough to pop there for a quick coffee and snack. I will be back to try their cocktails in the evening next! Bravo Love Die Late.

I had my 40th birthday party there and the staff were great. They were very accommodating to our requests and on the night took good care of us. It was a memorable night, everyone had a blast.

I was recommended this newcomer to Fitzrovia and came with a group of girl friends for a night out, including a cocktail masterclass. I loved it on three counts; the design is really unusual and cool - a definite retro feel, but with a humorous spin (nb rotating art wall and table top stories); the cocktails were really out of this world, and the staff were really knowledgeable and very friendly. We sat downstairs in a cosy lounge seating area, which felt as though we had hired a private room, though there were others at tables not far away. The cocktail masterclass was great - with Erik, our barman, teaching us some simple but delicious cocktails to make at home. He was funny and fun and a big hit with the ladies!

LOVE this place. Friendly staff, great coffee & cocktails, plus the decor is amazing! Perfect date spot but they also have a sexy basement lounge for private parties, which is available without a hire charge - in the centre of London, that's pretty damn rare
