Love Choco in Newham

We come often to Upton Park as a family so when Love choco opened I said to my husband we have to try that place and we are glad we did. The atmosphere is very homley and the staff is very nice. The desserts are also very delicious.

we have ordered 2 milk shakes using ubereat, we live 5 minutes away from the shop and we have been tracking the delivery it didn't take long to come, but when our order arrived, the milkshake was very watery, we called the shop and they have advice to place another order with extra staff that we didn't want they said they cant do any think. we are not happy with this and I will not order from this shop again and I recommend that need need to work on keeping customer happy. I have wasted £15.00.

Lo pasé muy bien con mi esposa y amigos, visite el restaurante en Stratford. El lugar es pequeño, sin embargo, la atmósfera es encantadora y genial, definitivamente regresaremos en el futuro.

Realmente nos gustó este lugar, no muy concurrido, pero la comida es deliciosa! Hay muchas cosas que se pueden pedir, batidos y batidos, gofres y pasteles. Recomiendo este lugar!

Barking branch, Faircross. Before I go into my bad experience I’d just like to say I have ordered from here many times. I even went with my family couple of weeks ago, there was about 16 of us who are there. So it’s a shame they have lost me as a loyal customer. On this particular occasion i had gone in for a collection and ordered around £26 worth of desserts. While sitting down waiting for my food I was looking at the leaflet where it said spend over £15 and get 20% off. I had gone over and told the girl who took my order I should’ve got 20% off which would mean getting £5 back. She then said she can’t do it and the manager would be in tomorrow. Went home with out food to then see that the crepe was not cooked through properly and they missed out the nuts I had asked for. I live close to the place so the next day enroute for my grocery shop I walked past love choco and thought I’d go and talk to the manager. Told the manager about the 20% off he responded with “this was an offer for when we first opened”. I then said ok (although as a customer it’s my right to get that 20% off as it’s his fault for not having updated his menus and this is false advertisement). I then went onto telling him about the uncooked crepe with the missing nuts I asked for. His response “send me the pictures” I went onto whatsapping him the pictures. He then said “ok what do you want me to do?” I then went onto saying I did not come in to argue I came into give my feedback. He seemed very annoyed and I said i wanted to come talk to you as you are the manager and should know about the quality of your food when you are not in. He replied “I’m not the manager, I am the owner of all the stores”. He was taking out money from the till to give back a full refund. However I did not go back to get asked by the OWNER what I want and get spoken to in a bad tone. As the owner his customer service was appalling. For him to repeatedly ask me what I want. As a business owner he should have taken responsibility for his staffs actions. He was admanet I took the full refund, I refused to take it and said I just wanted to give my feedback, did not come here to argue or get spoken to like that, keep the money. And I walked out. This isn’t the first time the quality of the food was not up to standards. Hence I wanted to give me feedback on the food, as a paying customer we expect the right quality and edible food. It’s a shame he has lost a loyal customer due to the way he dealt with my situation. I myself work in retail and deal with customers on a daily basis, and as a manager I never let my customers walk away unhappy.
