Out of 3 meals ordered from here 1 was DECENT AT BEST (The fried chicken) as it was cooked properly yet that was still mediocre at best! We ordered 2 CHICKEN BURGERS which came medium rare and we were unable to eat either of them and then suffered from horrible customer service trying to get refunds!

Don't waste you time. No way of contacting them. Spent hours waiting for food. Disgrace .

Ordered on uber. Had to throw most of it away. Tried to force myself to eat as much as I could cos I spent a lot of money on it. But had to trash 75% of it. The chicken tasted weird, never experienced something like that, I think they do something weird with it cos it kinda tasted powdery and strange, couldn't eat any more of it. Second, the seasoning was awful, no flavour. This is probably the worst fried chicken I've had. Very sad to have thrown it all away (threw away everything in the photo). Just about had the burger but it was just not seasoned well, had to use hot sauce to get it down. Very annoyed, spent my money to treat myself just to be massively disappointed 😞

Top, the chicken is super good, the sauces are great too, the atmosphere is great, the welcome is great, in short everything is great.

Ordered a chicken burger from this place, first time I tried it and last time for sure. The burgers came literally raw, and I was violently sick from it from it the next day.

Expected good things. £16 for a small burger, chips and a couple of pieces of chicken. Skin on the chicken had no real flavour. Need to increase the seasoning. Will stick to KFC.

Dear team, I am very fortunate to be able to enjoy your wings from time to time, but please make sure that the lid to the chicken wings is fastened properly in future and perhaps find a better alternative to the paper bags. I am deeply ashamed to admit that the thudbutt sauce has leaked through the paper bag and caused the whole bag to tear apart, spilling the contents of the wings, chips & sauces onto my shoes and my clothes. I have recently bought these pair of Air Max 90 White shoes and they are completely covered in the thudbutt sauce and haven't had much luck in getting the stains out. I do politely ask if you could tell me what the best cleaning material there is to be able to save these pair of shoes or if you could let me know what to do to get these yellow stains out, as I might as well dump them in the bin along with your wings, if thats the least you could do.

Struggle to find good chicken shops in brighton or just any chicken shops in general but I’ll be real probably one of the best chicken shops I have been… quality great good size and service is top too. Defo recommend the habanero and mango sauce. 10/10

Staff welcomed us kindly and explained what their story was after having asked them. Food cannot get better, skin texture of the fried chicken is on point and the meat is super juicy. Would recommend their extra hot sauce for the ones who want a little sweaty challenge.

The pepper chicken sandwich was awesome, chips were crispy and salty 10/10

Came here late at night trying to find somewhere to get food after a very long day but the place was nearly closing so i didn't get a full choice of selection. However what I did have is really good service and despite closing they offered to cook some items fresh so we got a selection of burgers mainly the buffalo burger and the salt and pepper. The burgers are huge let's start there and the buns served in are great. The buffalo burger was packed full of flavour maybe I would've liked it a bit spicier but that's personal preference the blue cheese sauce was great and in general this was a great great burger for only just over 7 pound which is an absolute bargain. The salt and pepper burger pretty much follows the same path and was amazing the chicken burger is full of flavour. Unfortunately we didn't get to try any wings as they had sold out but we got a few chicken pieces that were big juicy and coated with a lot of taste. The chips were chips I have never been a big fan of chips but they do the job on the side and come with really tasty dips. The place in general is an homage to the old school with games, cartoons and a lot of stuff that being from an older generation bring back great memories and you can buy merchandise in a vending machine so it's a great experience. The service is friendly caring and you can tell they care about what they are doing so yes come here, eat great food and have a good experience.

Came for fried chicken wings but a bit disappointed coz they were a bit overcooked and not that fresh. YET the fried chicken burger was the BEST I have even eaten as the chicken was freshly deep-fried, hot and juicy. Definitely will go again for the burgers!!

One of, if not the best Fried Chicken restaurant I've ever been to. Not only is the food absolutely fantastic, the staff are attentive and very friendly. The decor is a nostalgia trip of classic fast food mascots, as well as their own flavourful characters (who just so happen to represent the sauce flavours). Lovely Chicken burgers, strips and taters. Visited 11pm. Really friendly service. Great choice of increasingly spicy burgers. All cooked fresh. This is not your average chicken shop. One of the best burgers I've had. Clean , friendly , great service. Would recommend.

Literally cannot go wrong with Lost Boys chicken! It dwarfs kfc in terms of quality and flavour and their prices put it ahead of its other competitors by miles. Great to sit in and dine, it's always clean and it's got a cool retro atmosphere. The fried chicken burgers are superb and teaming with flavour with any of the sauces you go for (Rufio sauce is my fave so far). They may have just cracked the perfect crunch with any of their fried chicken. Would definitely recommend, not to mention a chicken club sandwich lunch deal for just £4!

I had the absolute privilidge to meet the man himself last night, made my night as i've been a LB fan for years. (Thanks for the cheeky wendy sauce!) Chicken as always was phenomenal, crispy, tender and packed with flavour. Tried the honey corn on the cob for the first time which was also great 🙂 Best fried chicken in the UK, hands down. It's disgusting and horrible food quality. Do not recommend!

AVOID. The worst chicken I have ever had. Chicken greasy and smelled off and gave me stomach pain later on. The crumbs colour were the way darker than in other chicken shops and it wasn't tasty at all! It looks like they've been using very old oil to cook their food!

Still waiting to find out when this place is actually open! Could you not put a sign up and let us know when you are actually open?

The Mr maggie hot dog was very tasty with a soft bun and juicy fried chicken. The mango flavoured sauce was very tasty worth a try.

Literally the best chicken shop in Brighton, if not the UK. I have been going to their kitchens around Brighton for years now and this is their ultimate shop. The chicken is so perfectly seasoned and crispy, it's unreal. If you are not sure what to get, go for the dunks, they are super good. I would say as well that they are just as good at their dips as well. Having tried all of them, the blue cheese and rufio mayo are top. Super friendly staff and a great vibe when you enter. Would 100% go every week, but my waist line would not thank me!!!

Original lost boys has surely become iconic in Brighton and now we have lost boys land which is a chicken shop on a whole new level. It's great twist on the original lost boys offering you a classic chicken shop experience. But wow its certainly the best chicken shop chicken I've ever had with the added benefit of the best buffalo and flavoured sauces you will ever taste. Oh and it's a beautiful looking shop!

Perfect. If I got food this carefully and lovingly made served on a plate with a knife and fork I would expect to pay a lot more

Best place to have fried chicken! Lovely atmosphere

Lost Boys at the Joker has been one of my favorites for a long time and Lost Boys land is an exciting new place that offers fried chicken like no other. It is a new concept, with the original drenched wings sadly not available. However, the chicken still tasted amazing, was perfectly crispy, with all of their sauces available for dipping. The fries were also very tasty, quite like well done steak fries. There’s also a range of burgers available, hopefully can try them soon as well. Definitely recommend this place not only because of the food, but also very friendly service and fast delivery of food.

Was there for the Soft Launch. Absolutely amazing, freshly fried and juicy chicken. Had the chicken shop burger and it was banging. Absolute surprise where the “Greens”. Crispy thing roasted kale (?) chips are a great interpretation and compliment the burgers well. New must visit for Brighton.

So so good. My friend kindly got me chicken on the first day of opening. The Wing Box. Great mixture of drenched and dry wings. Loved the sauce and fries are perfect.
