Longshoot in Nuneaton and Bedworth

I loved this stay. Liz on reception was a joy. I asked her about Larry Grayson (who lived down the road) Liz then told me this was the iconic location for the first ever episode of Crossroads. I played the theme tune on my phone. It was wonderful. The room was clean and warm and stylish. The carvery was perfect. I want to stay again - I’m hoping I’m sent to the area again.

Came here last week for some food and beers while the football was on and the staff were very happy and friendly and seem to be enjoying there jobs aswell as food was wonderful and I will definitely be back again

Very busy Sunday Lunchtime carvery.Great staff, tables cleaned quickly, Value for money, well filled plate of meat, the porkies were a bit flat. Great veg choices, fresh and hot. Thick tasty gravy. Overall good value but, obviously busy Sunday Lunchtime Best thing was the friendly helpful staff.

Just walked in 4 of us, got a table quite quickly. Had a drink while waiting the few minutes. All had the £7 carvery it was excellent 3 lovely meats, loads of piping hot vegetables crispy roasts and realky thick gravies one with onions. For the price it was fantastic, reasonable priced drinks, will always pop in wnenever passing, which is about 8 times a year, well done service was also very good bar staff pleasant. Thankyou

Been here a few times now with the family for both Quiz night and Sunday lunch. The food is really good, as is the quiz night! However sadly the bar staff/waiting staff come across fairly rude and abrupt when asking the simplest of questions. Clearly the pub has their favourites/regulars when it comes to Quiz night and the Carvery due to a lot of tables being reserved, and this is completely understandable…. However the attitude of the staff in the relation to this is really off putting. Sadly we won’t be returning.

Went with family. Had a great meal and drinks. Staff were great and couldn't have been more accommodating. Will be back soon!!!

Visited with the extended family for Sunday lunch. The prices are good, the food very good, the staff were possibly the nicest I've ever come across. Despite having a wheelchair we were made to feel welcome and if we're ever in the area again we'll make a point of returning.

I've got to say, I have never been to the long shoot ever and I will definitely be returning. Our welcome was very welcoming and when we looked around this place was very, very busy but you know,,,, our service,food and stay was a definite 10/10, for how busy you were,,, all of your staff were on it. Nice carvery our server's today were kirsha & Liam, both were lovely & Very polite. Food was worth the long queue too, Catherine serving was lovely as usual.

We had booked to stay at The Longshoot as attending an event nearby. Check in is round the back of the pub and was really easy to do with a helpful receptionist. Rooms were lovely and looked like they been been renovated. Clean, tidy and spacious. Really nice comfortable beds and tea/coffee provided along with a fan. Would stay again

Visited this place a few times. The staff are always pleasant and the service is good. I enjoy a small plate carvery meal and it's always very nice.

Came today, 13th May 2024 to celebrate a birthday with family. I had carvery, and it was fantastic and the service was fantastic I would definitely recommend the Longshoot and shall be returning for another meal.

Great place to dine food exceptional definitely be back the fish was like something you get at the seaside melted in your mouth the gammon is like a thick steak well done guys

Have been a regular customer of Greene King Pubs and this one has now become our go to for Carvery From the greeting when you first arrive to the 5 star service, I cant fault this place, only full of praise. We have gone from once a week to now nearly a daily visit. My father who is in his 90s finishes his meal everytime, as do I. Value for money is the best I've ever experienced. I would recommend booking as it does get busy, which is understandable, given the delicious food in such welcoming surroundings. Nuneaton, you have a gem here and if anyone is travelling along the A5 and want to be thoroughly satisfied, then pay it a visit. Greene King- a great product and the staff welcome you and serve you more like friends and always with a smile.

Mr petts really enjoyed roast especially his gammon .he loved the atmosphere and there was plenty of oap eye candy for him to gaze at # moist

Good Carvery but tried to book by phone, phone rings out but no one answers and then cut off. Not very good service therefore going elsewhere. Need to get the basics right.

Family birthday lunch. A good family pub and carvery in a convenient place. Very busy but food and service were very good. I believe it is essential to book as it is often busy. The carvery was very good value and they offer 3 plate sizes to suit all appetites. For us the only downside was that they had a pub singer in who was not brilliant and was too loud for us to talk without shouting. Many other customers seemed to like it however. Just a matter of perspective.

First visit ordered from the main menu and didn’t realise it was also a carvery until we had ordered. Food was ok although bits were cold so had to eat it quite quickly. Had a very loud family sat next to us so wanted to make a sharp exit anyway. Reasonably priced especially when using a blue light card for discount which was possibly my favourite thing about the visit.

Went in for a carvery with my wife last Thursday at around 5:00 PM. Both of us agreed that the food was really good with a nice choice of gammon, turkey and beef that was of a reasonable portion. The vegetables were hot and freshly cooked but the only greens on offer were Brussels sprouts. Roast potatoes were not to our liking as they appeared to have been deep fried and then heavily seasoned with salt. The worst aspect of the visit was that there were two workmen in the restaurant who were still in their dirty overalls . Surely the restaurant manager understands correct hygiene & should refuse to accept people in a restaurant wearing their dirty overalls. Note that there is another restaurant only 1/2 mile away that refuses entry to people wearing dirty clothes/ workwear & I know of companies who ban employees from entering on-site restaurants in their work overalls.

Really good carvery! Meat was perfectly cooked with plenty of variation for veggies & accompaniments. Adriana who seated & looked after us was so attentive & helpful - great customer service, thank you!

I would like to say this place is really good value for money. The rooms have been refurbished to a high standard and really clean. The staff are lovely. Also Liz really ensured everything was ok for us.

Very friendly, good quick food just what we needed after an evening volunteering at a theatre in the area.

Fantastic food! With nice and hearty portions leaving you being able to hardly move after finishing. Our server Lauren was an absolute sweetheart and a ball of pure positive energy. All round great experience, I will be coming here again!

Don't stand behind the bar making your mug of tea whilst customer was stood for 10 minutes to be acknowledged MR. Old guy singing in the bar area was deafening, it was awful. Food wasn't bad although the service was truly shocking. Won't be returning.

Had a really enjoyable festive menu and Lauren who served us was very helpful, making the effort to interact with us and make any changes we had with the deserts. Overall great value for the money.
