Never ordered from here before as usually stick to the same take away if and when we order one, but really wanted some lahmacun ,and after reading the reviews decided to order and omg it didn't disapoint, we had the mixed meat platte with rice chips and salad and of course the lahmacun the salad was beautifully presented and fresh, the lahmacun were stunning and the meat and everything else had so much flavour, daughter had the pizza deal and said that was beautiful too,all arrived piping hot and the delivery driver was lovely and polite, definitely my new goto take away ,blown away truly by the flavours

Lovely turkish restaurant! Do not order the usual chicken and chips when you go there. Instead, ask for their turkish signature dishes. You'll definitely come here again !

Service is shockingly bad. Very rude young girl who ignores you and is too busy flirting with the uber eats drivers. Food was also sub par and gave us all food poisoning!

Really disappointed 😞 Had the pizza deal for 2 people. Both pizza were tasteless and burnt underneath. Delivery driver could not find our home and I ended up calling the shop because he didn't understand me so the food was luke warm when we go it.

The food is Ok. Never order through their website. It will take around 1 1/2 hours to deliver to you. It’s not just for one time I had the issue it’s always been there problem. When we call them they will it’s on the way and you will get it soon. Poor service. Please do quality service

It used to be a great place to get order from. We used to love their kebab for two, selection of meat, rice, chips, salads. A proper meal for 2, maybe 3 people. We re-ordered it today and for £19 we didn’t get even a half of the normal portion, everything in a small box, a portion for one, not really hungry person. Disappointing

Great little place. Food was really nice. The lamb was soft and had flavour. Even the sauces tasted authentic, believe me as I’ve just returned from Istanbul.

And I would say it’s not expensive for what you get .They make their own fresh houmous and bread in the Owen please keep those standards guys as it really makes you one of my favourite ones in stoke .Thank you for being here Lonkanta

Don't bother ordering food from there. Waited 1.5 hours for the food. When arrived the food was only warm and not hot. Also a garlic bread was missing from the order. Called the restaurant straight away and informed them about the missing item. They said they will send it straight away. Waited another 40 minutes for it and still didn't receive it. Called the restaurant again to cancel it and request the refund. Woman who answered the phone was extremely rude and said she will simply not cancel the order as the garlic bread is already in the oven (over 2 hoyrs after ordering). I informed her I don't want it and want to cancel the order - she passed the phone to some macho man who said I can't cancel my order as it's been only 30 mins since I've ordered it :D when I told him it's been more than 2 hours he proceeded to call me a lier and refused to refund the money. Absolutely shocking service and would definitely not recommend. Don't waste your money and time. It takes them 2 hours to deliver the food on Monday evening. Imagine what is it like on busy Friday or Saturday.

Had a delivery this evening, to start with you have an extremely polite and nice delivery driver !!!!. My food , the kebab I had was lovely the salad was vibrant and fresh, tasted really good!. The chips , crunchy on the outside fluffy middle not soggy at all. All I'm all a great meal with great customer service will definitely be returning. Thanks guys.

Had this as a takeaway twice in a week as I had a short stay and its on point if I'm ever back in Stoke will definitely order again. Only slight criticism would be the chips they were either reheats or over cooked on both occasions, but the mains make up for it, I think if you invested in proper chip shop style chips, you be onto a winner

We were looking for a family meal and wanted try something new and wow what can I say the service was absolutely amazing here we kept getting starters and more as they were sooo tasty and when our meals came wow they are a big portion of food and everything was Seasoned correctly and the food taste soo fresh and the prices are great for three of us including drinks 3 meals and 3 starters cost us £35 pounds we are definitely coming back and recommending I don’t know how the restaurant is empty but I understand a lot of people are lazing and prefer ordering online 🫶🏻

The food was delicious especially the mixed grill, vegetable pizza, and hummus, and the service was very good, the workers were so kind and Respectful. All in all the experience at Lokanta kebab house was nice. 👍🏻

Really slow delivery, expect to wait over 1 hour and a half for your food. Update- customer started being aggressive after I asked to cancel the order and return the money being 1 hour and 45 minutes and still no food. Very unprofessional but not surprised they've wasted such good food because it always tastes nice with long delivery times and bad attitude. Do not bother wasting your time and waiting for your food.

I bought a chicken shawarma and it was amazing and they are massive so they are really filling. The interior of the building is pretty cute too and they also sell cakes and baklava on their stand at the front. The guy making the food was happy and kind. Overall I loved it and I definitely want to go again👍

Food was very different from when we ordered before. The chips were peri peri and the donner kebab was tomato based & missing the pitta! Gone downhill.

The food here was good, some of the things such as the shish kofta, chicken wings amd chips were nice but the chops and ribs were tough and the pizza was good but just a little bland. I would probably go again as the people were lovely and I couldn't fault the service.

Ordered for the first time last night. Really disapointed and very expensive for what you get. Food was not very warm and tasteless. The large chicken kebab at £9.20 was 8 pieces of chicken in a cold nan bread . No were no peppers , onions or mushroom cooked with it. I ordered no salad on all items and salad came on everyone. I paid £2.50 for chips they never came.

Thought I’d give this one a try and unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be returning which is a shame. I ordered the large mixed shawarma and added a few notes to it. Just eat didn’t give an option for salad so I made a note to replace rice with salad in addition to adding garlic mayo and requesting only a small amount of chips. I know they read this message as I did receive a salad instead of rice, however, there was no inclusion of garlic mayo which has made the meal very dry. If they didn’t have it, that’s fine, but they should have called me to enquire as to what I’d like instead. Lastly, I’m not sure whether they took a front to me requesting only a small volume of chips as I don’t really like them in general.. but what I received can only be described as a mound of chips with less than a handful of meat.. was really dissatisfied and disappointed given what little meat I did receive was really nice! I essentially paid £9 for just a portion of chips, really bad value for money, sadly. The side salad was nice but also lacking and did not have some of the accompaniments such as pickled chillies which you’d typically expect from a Turkish restaurant.

I just came from here as a recommendation I got say this is the best donar meat I've had in years my wife had chicken shawma she loved it fresh salad top notch. Customer service was brilliant served by the lady behind the counter I will be returning in the future

The worst food I ever had in my life it was the first and will be last the rice just disgusting and no taste at all if I'm not wrong it's frozen rice they was bring two big bags I thought I bring it wrong one after I opened obviously just two peace salad inside anyway if actually anyone buy it will waste money don't make the mistake what I done. I put the bin completely old food .

Tried chicken shawarma and chicken and mushroom pasta. Quantity was too much and tasted awesome. The guy at the counter is super helpful, great people and great food. I’m just confused why there is a lower rate on the display and higher on the menu card. Anyways, worth it.

On going to manchester we stopped by stoke on trent..I had lunch with my husband here..As i m turkish from adana i really enjoyed with their turkish adana kebab and lentil soup..i definitely recommend as there is cheap and good quality food and service..by the way Ayran is amazing..proper Ayran taste

First time ordering from Lokanta. We have moved to Stoke recently and we couldn't find a decent adana... until now! The adana was delicious. We picked up the order and when I got home my adana had rice instead of naan and salad. I called and they offered to deliver it to me, we live 2.5m away. Exceptional service! You have gained 2 loyal customers!

Very poor. Paid £15 for a mixed kebab with 3 bits of Chicken, two tiny shops that were inedible, one small kebab Shish that wasn’t good as couple of burned wings. Stale chips and didn’t even send the rice and bread that was included. Never been so insulted in my life. This place used to be so good. Thank god I paid via credit card and can get a full refund!

Shish kebab is truly amazing, full of flavour and juicy. Hummus is also good. Hospitable people. Also have kids chair which was convenient. Shawarma is average though.

Ordered on uber eats and the food was vulgar to say the least no flavour dry chewy meat and very very dry meal over all. No sauces or salad just plain shawarma with rice and or chips. We paid £44 for 5 shawarma on plate meals and it was awful most of it was left uneaten. Had to improvise by adding home sauces salad and hummus to eat it but it really wasnt helping. It was our first and most likely last time trying this place.

The best chiken kebab, ever. Soft and tasty. The soup was amazing too. My shaworma was nice too. Pizza, is not italian, but fresh ingredients and my daughter like it.

Second time visiting, again our food was incredible. As a vegetarian I sometimes feel left out but both times they made me something not on menu different each time. Felt very well looked after.

I’ve dined in at Lokata in the past and received great service and delicious food. I was really excited to order it in for my family who had not previously visited. We ordered a Donner Kebab and Mix Kebab, both stated on the menu that they came with chips, naan and rice as expected. When they arrived it was just 2 boxes of meat and chips with no breads, rice or salad items. We rang up to ask about the mix up and they stated that the menu on their website was an old menu and you had to request the breads. This was not mentioned anywhere on their site, it clearly said that they came with bread. The gentleman on the phone didn’t offer to fix this by sending us breads or apologise for the mix up. I wouldn’t recommend ordering from their take out menu until they fix this issue.

Very friendly place, the waiter was a good laugh and brilliant to suggest what to have especially for the vegetarian meal, he said leave it to him and she was not disappointed, I had the mixed kebab and the meat was cooked perfectly, the rice is out of this world, would definitely recommend if your in the area and to travel to this place, realy well priced and you get a lot of food, spot on

My partner and I ate in and each had the £8.50 buffet, as recommended by a Stoke on Trent Live Facebook post. I think the reporter got preferential treatment as we got only 2 dips and the reporter got 3 dips. We also had to ask for extra bread. With the main course the reporter got a large moussaka portion and I got a TINY portion. When we arrived they were not prepared for my partner being a vegetarian customer although they did a reasonable job of rustling something up for her. If you pay by card you have to trust they have taken the right amount as you do NOT get a proper receipt!! The till area is a bit chaotic to be honest. On this basis we shall NOT be returning, sorry guys

Excellent meats, especially lamb chops, lovely seasoning on the chips. Friendly, attentive service. 2 person mixed kebab completely fed 2 adults + 2 kids. Included meze starter with very nice flatbread. No alcohol. Simple seated area, but not cramped. Highly recommended!

Went to lokanta ordered mix meat and chips. The meat was under cooked and raw so i give it back yet was charged the full amount, the cutlery he give was dirty also the person who was brushing the floor handed me my food without washing his hands. Very disappointed. Never go back again. Unhygienic.

Used to be good. However, the food which I ordered tonight on UberEats - for which which I paid £34 - was was gross and ultimate rubbish. Don't know whether the management has changed but all the meat dishes were fried in oil rather than cooked on a grill. Chips were undercooked and really oily and the order came with meagre sauces. Avoid!!!!

Absolutely disgusting the shawarmas were full off this thick fatty rubby stuff. Called several times for a refund as the food is still sitting here waiting to be picked up from your selves and your ignoring us. This is disgusting and I will be reporting you.

Ordered two large kebabs ended up with donor meat and chips.....I've never in my life had meat with so much gristle! Ate the chips and threw the rest in the bin.....and at £20 for the two portions I feel robbed!!

Undoubtedly the best Turkish restaurant in Stoke on Trent. Service is second to none and the best place to find what you really like as the manager and his team are brilliant at tailoring their food for you. Don't think I have ever left a review but the service is so good I feel compelled to.
