El mercado de City / Leadenhall todavía está muy vacío después del cierre, pero decidimos comer pescado de todos modos y aventurarnos a Loch Fyne. El restaurante era todo para nosotros ya que otra mesa estaba saliendo. El servicio fue excelente, amable y atento. Las estrellas de la comida fueron la sopa de pescado y la lubina, que yo había asado a la parrilla con Pak Choi y puré de patatas. El pescado estaba súper fresco, limpio y muy "con mucha carne". We dined early using a voucher for two, two course meals with wine. Although we had a special menu we were able to make tasty choices which were well presented and of a good size.. The included large glass of wine was very palatable too. Although when we arrived there were not many other diners the bar area was full which gave the restaurant a good atmosphere. By the time we left lots of tables were occupied. Would recommend this restaurant especially as it is in the City and easily accessible to a number of stations for the journey home.

It was our first time in Loch Fyne. Dimitar was our waiter who did and excellent & quick service and he was very friendly! I will definitely come back and would recommend to anyone who likes fish dishes!

Popped in today and ordered the grilled tuna steak with the soy and ginger dressing. I had this at the Chelmsford branch about a month ago and it was superb. Assumed as Loch Fyne were a chain I would receive the same dish. The tune was really thin, so think in fact it could only be cooked well done. almost the thickness of sashimiWhile this was a major let down the sides were also completely different to what I was served at the other location. The Savoy cabbage was not as advertised - no chestnuts or shallots, just a little minute dollope on the plate and the Dauphinoise potatoes were not creamy but just dripping in oil.Such a shame. I was so looking forward to this dish. Looks like I will have to head back to Chelmsford to get it.Have had many great meals here in the past, not sure if chef or management have recently changed.

On entering waited by the server desk at the front for a few minutes, eventually having to walk further in & get attention of waiter. Shown to table. Food was good, but I had to keep asking for my water to be topped up. Also the gents loo downstairs was flooded.

Me and my family were visiting London, and while in Leadenhall Market we decided to try some fish and chips. We were not disappointed, it was fantastic. Our server Whitney also recommended to have starters, so we shared prawns and halloumi fries and it was all very nice

Very enjoyable lunch. Good service and excellent food. Definitely recommended. It's a pity that there are fewer Loch Fyne restaurants now. We used to enjoy the ones at Covent Garden and elsewhere but at least three that we visited over the years have now gone.

Went for lunch with a work colleague. We hadn't booked but it wasn't overly busy so we were seated quickly. The food was good, and the service prompt and fairly attentive, without being intrusive. Not cheap, however nothing is in this area.

Mi amigo y yo visitamos Loch Fyne un viernes invernal y nos animaron los deliciosos mariscos y el excelente servicio (sin mencionar un par de copas de muy buen vino). Ambos tuvimos la parrillada mixta de mariscos como la principal y nos impresionó la frescura de la comida y los excelentes sabores. El tamaño de las porciones también era generoso. Mickael fue nuestro servidor por la noche y fue exactamente la combinación correcta de amable, profesional y atento. Gracias por ayudarnos a hacer que nuestra velada sea tan agradable, Mickael.

Tired,uninterested service, food okish. No where near the standard of a couple of years ago. Monkfish was tiny for £20, asked why so small & was told that was all that was left. Won't be going back to the branch.

Came here with work colleagues and enjoyed it. King prawns in garlic and chilli for starters and battered sirloin of cod with triple cooked chips for mains. Decent price for the city.

I wasn’t wowed by my mixed fish grill but it was enjoyable. I visited early evening the first Monday in January so it was a bit dead. Will give it another go as previous experiences with Loch Fyne have been very good.

Thought I'll say few words about how amazing my experience was at your restaurant yesterday. Visited during very busy lunch for drinks and got served straight away by the bartender, the beard one (sorry didn't get the name), and was asked if we wanted some food you the manager called mikaela, was tempted, got chilli prawns and squids. She was very friendly and even chat to us even thought it was very busy.

Good location for entertaining colleagues. Food was good breakfast fare; good selection. Service was well done.

Second time here. We have been to others in the past. They all seem to have the same atmosphere. We had 10 for lunch, with 5 having the Xmas menu and the rest ate a La carte.

Lucky to just bump into a charming restaurant servicing extremely delicate fish dishes and good wine. Really value for money – and all served with high level of hospitality and service. Super!

Had always wanted to try and eat at one of the restaurants, and wasn't disappointed. Very good value for money for a London restaurant as well.

Been here a few times before but I must admit that I was disappointed with my last visit just two days ago.

Corporate entertainment that was supported extremely well. Good service good food and excellent attention by our waiter Mickael. He paid great attention to our requests and made all the difference.

We visited Loch Fine today. It was one of the worst experience we have had . The portions were small and inedible. I felt sorry and ashamed for my friends who were visiting from abroad. Apart from the Phillipino waiter who was very helpful, the visit is an experience we would rather forget.

Restaurant was clean and tidy . Fish and chips were lovely and fresh. Would definitely return. Maybe next year.

Visited mid-week for dinner, it was pretty quiet so could probably walk in. Service was very good, attentive but not overbearing. Had lovely starters and the fish mixed grill main. All perfectly cooked and tasted very fresh.

Visited last Wednesday with friends for a late dinner, hannah was our waitress and she was very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. She recommended seafood grill which was delicious. Popcorn sundae exceeded my expetacions!!! Would definitely comeback and recommend!

A nice ambience and a lovely meal. The fish cake starter and the fish curry main were both excellent.

This was our first visit to Loch Fyne and we had a complimentary glass of champagne which was very drinkable but was on the bill until I asked for it to be taken off. I ordered a bottle of Pinot Grigio which at £25 was of extremely poor quality, this is not what I would expect from a large company.I changed this without any trouble to a bottle of picpoul de piney which was good.The starters of prawns and scallops were very tasty. I chose turbot and my wife chose lemon sole which we were then told was off the menu, so she settled for plaice. Although the food tasted good the portion sizes were small and not what we expected. Desserts were good.

Ordered lobster , was really looking forward to it given the reputation of this restaurant in Scotland. Very disappointed totally overlooked and tasteless. The waitress was very nice though and gave a discount , however I would have much preferred it was cooked properly. Would not recommend , reinforces my feelings on chain restaurants

My best friend and I went for my birthday dinner and the food was amazing. I would definitely recommend the raspberry ripple cheesecake!!!😍 staff were nice too.

A friend and I had dinner in honour of her birthday at the Leadenhall Market restaurant. The food and service were both very good but the discount voucher didn't work in this restaurant I was aware that they didn't take vouchers at lunchtime but thought we would be OK in the evening. Read the small print carefully!

Very friendly welcome upon arrival. Nice service. Had voucher so one of us from set menu and other had food from a la carte Food could have been a bit hotter.

Enjoyed the seafood mixed grill but sadly squid was slightly over and on the chewy side uninspiring choices for dessert left us looking elsewhere to close the evening - service was fair but not outstanding.

Long lazy lunch in Leadenhall Market. Loch Fyne provided a great combination of delicious sea food & excellent service. The sea bass with samphire & sea food tagliatelle were scrumptious. Prompt service, with great encouragement to explorethe rest of the menu & settle in for the afternoon! Highly recommended.

We dined at Loch Fyne on Monday evening. The food was lovely. Our waitress, Whitney, was very friendly and recommended the halibut from the specials. It was delicious. The haddock and the tagliatelle looked very nice as well. We really enjoyed our evening.

We wanted some nice sea food so decided to go here for dinner and drinks on Friday night. Cocktails were good and our waitress was very nice and friendly. The food however was appalling. Firstly, we were told that they don't have mussles because they are not in season. Why not to print a seasonal menu then? For mains we ordered sea food tagliatelle in white wine and cream sause and sea food curry. Tagliatelle had only few prawns and about 2 pieces of squid, no clams and mussles as described on the menu, no white wine either: all it was was tagliatelle covered in lots of cream with few prawns and 2 pieces of squid! Sea food curry was simply inedible. It was a piece of old deep fried fish (probably leftovers from "fish and chips" meal) covered in some brown sause that had no flavour and I doubt that it can be called curry. It really ruined what was supposed to be a birthday celebration with a friend. Definitely the worst meal I've ever had!

We had a party of four and all enjoyed the food and the service. Our waitress Tsvetelina was fabulous. Our glasses were never empty and she attended to our every need without even asking. Seafood there is amazing . Definitely recommend this place.

Pretty good breakfast with all the usuals was quite and the emphasis seemed to be on lunches we were the only ones there,Coffee was only average a little watery,,but would go back again.

Noisy and crowded but fish always good. I ordered the burger which was a mistake as it was very dry and the dressing was poor. I suffered for that!

This is an extremely busy restaurant, being in the City and full of people having business lunches. The special was delicious, as was my mum's seafood platter.

Lunch with an old colleague today. We have visited this venue on a number of occasions, and always find the food of good quality. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the service good far a busy restaurant.

The atmosphere here is very nice. Our waiter Mickael was very friendly and was always willing to serve us more. The food is expensive but is definitely worth the money. It's a place to go for treating yourself!!

Firstly, I LOVE the Loch Fyne chain but this restaurant was exceptional! Whilst being a fishmongers, the restaurant is clean, tidy, modern and the food is absolutely delicious. Scallop starter was a little small but maybe I’m just greedy for seafood! They cooked our oysters for us, because that’s how we prefer them! They drummed up a unique meal for our 7 year old who wanted “tempura prawns” and even though it wasn’t on the menu, they delivered that for us! Brilliant service. The mandarin tarte dessert on the specials board was AMAZING! And I would love the recipe! Service was fabulous, just enough time to rest without feeling pushed out the door or slow. We spent about £300 on our meal for 5 people, 3 courses each and 2 bottles of wine! I think price is reasonable considering the freshness and quality of the food! Thank you for having us.

Extensive menu with daily specials. Great food. Busy restaurant, usually crowded at lunchtime so it can be quite noisy. Some dishes, notably specials, can be a little pricey for a modest portion.

We found the Restaurant by accident in a very crowded part of London where 'average' is the norm. This branch of Loch Fyne was well above average!!

My partner came to visit me in London so i decided to bring him for a dinner and let him try the lobster for the first time in his life.

Went with friends last Friday night. We were seated at a cosy table at the back of the restaurant. We ordered some oysters to start, and mussels and seabass for our mains. Food arrived promptly, and Whitney’s service was attentive and friendly throughout the evening.

Dined with friends. Ordered 2 fish grills and 1 grilled salmon. Fish grills were £25.95 each and consisted of handful of tiny over cooked mussels, an over cooked prawn, salmon fillet, sea bass fillet, squid and a scallop. Not worth the money at all and won’t be rushing back

Came here with Clients. Felt as though we had been squeezed in the restaurant despite pre booking for 5 people. One of the chairs was broken !. Overall food not bas but service was vey poor.

Simply delicious , range of choices within the menu for burns night exceeded expectation. The atmosphere was relaxed but then took off with arrival of a piper .

So we entered the restaurant at 6pm, the restaurant was empty and for some reason instead of the waiter welcoming us at the door, he decided to shout half way across the restaurant if we wanted a drink or a meal.... meal it was!

Visited for Friday lunch with work colleague. Been here a few times and if you enjoy fish, it is ideal. we had the line caught cod and halibut, both very good, grilled and cooked perfectly. Portions were not as big as they could have been, but very tasty nevertheless. the restaurant was packed out, so you probably need to book, certainly on a Friday. staff were busy, so service was a bit slow, but everything else was fine, and will be a regular visitor, good variety of "specials"

We booked the 5-course tasting menu at Loch Fyne City branch for a special celebration. The booking was accepted and a non-refundable deposit charged to my credit card.

We were served by Sahar as she was lovely and very friendly. The meal was delicious, fresh and very hot. Defiantly get your money’s worth! Will be bringing my mum back!

Party of 11 and the food was generally very poor - portion size and quality. I had the fish and chips and it was the poorest cod I have ever been served. A pity as we are paying full price and won’t come back.

Visited late afternoon in December and we had a really positive experience. All five of us had different fish dishes off the menu and we were really pleased with quality and the taste.service was friendly and professional. We will happily use this company again.

There were 83 adults for lunch. The service, friendliness, helpfulness, environment, patience both before and during and after, were brilliant. There is plenty of choice in the bar and the food. I would definitely recommend all of you to visit.

Reliably-fresh fish from the homeland of Scotland, mostly. Quality seafood that can be trusted, served with style in a clean and crisp dining room in the house standard style of Loch Fyne. Dishes are perfectly presented to focus on the fish. Maybe slightly expensive but probably worth the extra to taste the exceptional quality which prevails here. Couldn't be faulted.

I came here with one colleague. The quality of the fish and seafood is very high. The staff is always very polite and fast. The price here is always fair to eat fish and seafood.

NO vengas aquí sin una reserva, incluso si llegas temprano, el lugar siempre está lleno, y quiero decir que literalmente, apenas pudimos encontrar una salida, ya que el lugar estaba repleto de mesas para jowl. Se pone fuerte como resultado. La comida era buena, un montón de opciones para el pescado y los mariscos. Tuve los mejillones que eran muy buenos. El servicio fue excelente, particularmente considerando lo ocupado que estaba. Todos nosotros disfrutamos de nuestra comida, y las raciones eran decentes, pero era un almuerzo caro para tres personas que solo bebían agua y no pedían aperitivos ni postres (alrededor de 100 libras esterlinas). Si desea un lugar de negocios muy agradable para el almuerzo y no le importa ser empacado en poco, esta es una apuesta sólida.

Had an excellent meal here last week, made even better by the prompt and attentive service. Particularly would like to mention Ansley Goes, who was the bartender, quick on the uptake, smart, immediate and helpful.

Have been here twice in recent weeks. The fish pie has plenty of flavour with a variety of ingredients and other fish dishes were perfectly cooked. Their weakness seems to vegetables. On both occasions we sent them back. I’m no fan of over cooked veg but the green ones were excessively crunchy and the potatoes were insufficiently soft and had a very earthy taste. The setting can be noisy when busy but otherwise delightful.

Restaurant au personnel fort sympathique mais à la cuisine mitigé... Le saumon n'est pas distribué à parts égales entre ma copine et moi même. Les french fries sont vraiment grasses et la salade et écoeurante.

The quality of the mussels and the different flavours were very good. The deal however is 'unlimited mussels' and the restaurant ran out before we could order more.

Haven’t been to a Loch Fyne, but had heard good things and certainly expected a better experience. 4 of us made a booking for dinner, and although we enjoyed the evening ambiance, the food wasn’t up to much.

Good food but not good value for money. Convenient and open early which is good for a business breakfast.

Such an awesome spot where to eat! Clean place, acknowledged stuff and great food! Had starter, main, dessert and 2 glasses of wine recommended by assistant manager (carlotta)... She did everything to understand my tastes with smile and kindness! Many thanks, can't wait to be back!

This is my first review on trip advisor. I visited Loch Fyne restaurant on Thursday around 5pm with my wife. The cocktails and service was lovely. At one point the manger on duty (Asian guy) could not catch his name he came and asked us how is everything going? We were having a bit of difficulty in downloading our boarding passes as our flight was next morning. He downloaded the boarding passes for us and he even guided us the best route to the airport please pass him our thanks as he could not say bye to him . We will be visiting back soon.

I have reviewed previously - my friend had hock of ham in this fish restaurant and it was very good indeed - I was jealous!

This is one of many restaurants where I actually REALLY enjoyed their seafood. I would say it is just as good as the seafood restaurants near the coast of England. I ordered a mixed seafood grill. There was a good variety on my plate (salmon, prawns, sea bass, scallops, squid etc.) and I liked everything! There was no strange fishy smell or awful aftertaste; it's fresh seafood perfectly seasoned. The service was lovely and the restaurant's decor reminded me of a seaside restaurant. If you are looking for amazing seafood in the City, I'd strongly recommend Loch Fyne.

A good location and the restaurant was busy however the lunch was spoiled by a lengthy wait. 2 courses took almost 2 hours and the food itself was average.
