Little Red Cantina in Hammersmith and Fulham

Delicious, very fresh-tasting food; really flavoursome. We went for a veggie lunch (vegetarian chorizo was great). I’m looking forward to going back of an evening to try the pulled pork or lime chicken options. And a cocktail or two! Sweet little restaurant that wouldn’t be out of place in Soho. Feel lucky to have it in West London.

Found this little gem recently as new to the area. Have now been for dinner with partner and brunch with friends in same week, both times seriously yummy!! Cornbread is delish, as is black bean soup and everything else veggie - so many great options! Also the churros were divine. Can’t wait to go back again and try the cocktails and more dishes :) and possibly a yoga brunch...?! thank you!

Really, really tasty food. Small menu but that means there is actual cooking happening, not re-heating. Friendly staff. Informal atmosphere. Quiet when we visited, not sure why Chiswick hasn’t embraced this place yet. Regular haunt for us now.

We live near this restaurant and try and pop in as often as possible for our fix of delicious Mexican style food. We usually go for a selection of tacos and quesadillas for sharing, we always like the variety of fresh flavours (plus it’s hard to pick just one thing!!) We always get great and friendly service when we visit. Next on the list is to go for brunch as the menu looks awesome!

This is 100% my favorite place to eat in Chiswick/ Hammersmith. Its the only Mexican place in the area and have eaten here since it has opened. Never have had a disappointing meal or horrible service. Im American and i know my Mexican food!! This place is a hidden gem!!!!!

We were excited to try this little place which is local for us, but the food was a big disappointment. We shared a plate of loaded nachos (Doritos) and 6 tacos with various fillings, which were all unappealingly sweet with a 'salsa' that would be more accurately described as sweet chili sauce - or glaze even, given how sickly sweet it was. Even the pulled pork tacos were odd: under-salted yet heavy on the cinnamon, tasting far more Middle Eastern than Tex-Mex. Having had actual Mexican street food before, this place really should not be claiming its food resembles it. We now understand why this place is almost always empty. Only saving grace is the staff are lovely.

I stopped by here recently with a friend who is vegan. The menu is simple but sufficient and caters to all tastes I would say, with of course, the theme being Mexican! Fresh smoothies are available and the food was nice, well priced and the service was very friendly and good. I'd revisit :)

Just had the most delicious lunch! Now serving vegan and gluten free options and some pretty yummy tequila cocktails perfect for a sunny Saturday in west London! Street food with a delicious twist! These dishes are inspired. From the new, hip and healthy to the plain and simple comfort Tex-Mex. They serve all my favourites with a beautiful warm that makes my doubt that I’m in London. Thanks Emily and Heather. You made our afternoon!

Eagerly anticipating the Mex food on offer I could hardly contain myself. But what a disappointment. A near 30 minute wait for the food when the restaurant was empty except for two other diners. And then finally. The food arrived! Hugely disappointing: the Cajun fries had no Cajun! The burritos were just ‘slop’ lacking any flavour or freshness. I’ve been lucky enough to taste some great Mexican food over the years this is not one of them. Incidentally a pop up place in east London does amazing burritos for a fraction of the price. Nowhere near the authentic Mex experience we were looking for. overpriced too. Never again.

Great find. Good menu choice. Well presented, tasty food. Reasonable prices. Gluten free options. Helpful staff. Will be back next time in the area.

What a beautiful hidden gem situated between Hammersmith and Chiswick Went there by chance with my son And was amazed in how good and reasonably priced to food is Crackerjack king prawns are to die for!!!! Will definitely be back with the wife

We stopped here for a quick breakfast on the last day of our trip and were pleasantly surprised. The girl serving us was very frenziedly and helpful and they were very prompt about taking our plates away etc. I had the veggie burrito from the breakfast menu, my sister the egg with potatoes and we shared a banana bread with coffee butter which were all amazing!. Not too expensive either and with a nice kitschy interior.

The food is really good. Nicely cooked and hot. The corn bred is excellent and also the pulled pork and brisket. The churrosnand chocolate are delicious. Very friendly service. Nice margaritas. Very reasonable prices. A great local restaurant.

What a great little place! Stumbled upon Cantina whilst strolling up Kings street, to be honest I’m a sucker for a happy hour and pair that with a burrito I’m in. Great cocktails, tasty food and friendly staff, recipe for a pleasant couple of hours...

Popped in on the off chance and loved the vibe of the place so much !! The cocktails were amazing especially with the happy hour deal and the burritos were so tasty and filling. We are so happy to have found this place.
