Unfortunately the food was not great but service was I ordered a cheesecake pop and brownie. The brownie got cold quickly and didn’t taste nice after this. I ordered for collection and ate my food after 15mins from collecting would recommend to eat in.

Ordered milkshakes, waffle and cheesecake. All were exquisite. Warm waffle, smothered on chocolate, lotus milkshakes tasted delicious and my partners cheesecake reminded him of his mom's. Staff were very friendly. Worth a visit.

Absolutely lovely milkshakes. You could easily spend a fortune here every night and it would be worth every penny. We didn't eat anything, just had a milkshake but next time we will definitely be having a waffle

There was a deal for drinks but it was made very unclear, and the food was quite expensive for it to be quite small and the drinks half empty.

I'm an on-and-off customer of the past ~4 years who thoroughly appreciates the range of milkshakes that this place makes. I've tried the milkshakes that other establishments make, and for similar prices being charged, they really don't compare in quality to this shop. £5.95 for a 'basic' milkshake in a large cup only amounts to ~400ml of something to drink, however, and similar upcharges are a lot more apparent with the other treats on offer, so I can only recommend coughing up the money for the milkshakes if you can stomach the price tag.

Placed an order it took just over an hour and a half, rang multiple times and he kept saying be there in 5 minutes well an hour later it turned up stone cold just wasn’t nice at all 😞

when we got there, the server was by himself and worked so hard to get us our food up to standard. he had great customer service and was just pleasant to speak to, the food was delicious especially the cheesecakes, and the service was amazing aswell!

The staff were helpful and made the experience for my kids especially a memorable one. They even went out of their way to make me something that was not even on the menu!!

The selection is extensive, catering to every taste, and everything we tried was incredibly fresh and delicious. The prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is delightful, creating a great vibe for enjoying some treats. Our personal favorites were the cornflakes tart with hot custard and the chocolate kid, which my kids absolutely adored. It's definitely become a new family favorite spot for us. Highly recommend!

First time going here and was it brilliant the cornflake tart and chocolate cake was amazing. Will definitely be coming again.

The WORST experience ever. I was absolutely disgusted at everything about this place from the food to the vile service. The whole order was completely wrong and everything was just poor - took my items back to have it rectified and have the right toppings and sauce. That man was outrageous, customer service was APALLING- refused to change any of it and so rude. Everything is over priced anyway then at the price you get all your food wrong and spoke to disgustingly I would not bother to even waste your money or time here. Just been took under new management also blatantly needs permanently closing! I was gobsmacked at the whole experience- AVOID AVOID AVOID save your self from paying to be spoken to like an animal!

In the last couple of days there have been some new owners take over. I haven't been here prior but the menu they have has a really good choice and they are now offering free birthday shakes etc if you join the loyalty club. The staff were friendly and happy to help. I'm a lover of a good milkshake and this definitely hit the spot. If you someone who needs a pick me up or needs that little sweet treat I'd definitely suggest these guys.

Really poor service. The delivery driver attached my delivery to my door handle so as soon as i opened my door it hit the ground and my milkshake exploded. I phoned to explain and the lady on the phone got angry with me and refused to refund me. After another hour i phoned again as I hadnt recieved a replacement and she was still angry at me but eventually gave me a refund. Genuinely incredibly poor service.

Order came an hour and a quarter after delivering, and what we were was melted ice creams and completely flavourless milkshakes.

Delicious but extremely expensive. The service is a bit hit and miss so check your order before leaving and I wouldn't recommend that you have the home delivery. Despite the service and cost its worth at least 1 visit.

told us an hour after ordering that food was out for delivery, then an hour later we tried to call for an update as the shop only 10 mins away from us and they wouldn't answer the phone. Paid 30 squids for absolutely nothing might as well have just threw my money off runny bridge xx

Daughter paid £26 for an order which she never received. She phoned and spoke to a lady who said order was on its way, didn't arrive. Continued to phone until midnight, no answer. Attepted to call in shop, constantly closed. Finally spoke to a lady in the shop who said the manager would phone within 24 -36 hours but phone call never came. My daughter is now £26 out of pocket due a service she didnt receive!

My only issue with this lovely cake shop is the Vanilla Ice Cream that you get with dessert, it is not vanilla it is like cheap value ice-cream with no flavour. It's a shame they let themselves down serving that with their cakes.

Ordered online and after two hours there was no update, they didn't pick up the phone and I ended up having to go through the delivery site to get a refund which was tricky because they use their own drivers. Very disappointing - Definitely needs to step up their communication and if they are unwilling to use the apps they should probably take the shop offline on them

Where do I start the fact that the woman that picked up the phone kepted telling me my address doesn’t exist too coming with the wrong order then when I rang up to tell her she said I will sort it and put the phone the down on me a while later I rang back to see what was going on for her to say the driver on the way and button me again the driver turned said she was going straight there to get and straight back even told my son then not to turn up or even answer the phone won’t be going back again iam fumming not for me but my kids and I wish I didn’t have to put a star and the kids loved going there but they are left very disappointed have to find somthing else for a treat for them

Visiting Chester for a few days and tried a dessert shop there which sadly disappointed, resulting in us having a refund. Drove to Runcorn and wow! The Little Dessert shop did not disappoint. Very clean, good, swift service and adequate eat in facilities, well worth the ££ and journey.

I ordered at 8pm it's 10pm and I haven't received my order

Orders food and paid £20 fine. Said it would be 30+ fine. Doesnt deliver food or answer the phone when asking about order thanks for 1hr 30 mins of me trying to contact you, absolutely fab 👌 dont order if your actually expecting anything to be delivered. Yes going to rant over drivers because when you pay for something to expect it to be delivered or your call to be answered not completely ignored and out of pocket.

Delivery arrived quickly, the order was well presented and everyone thought the cheesecakes were fantastic!!!

Ordered through big foodie website and paid online, the driver turned up asking for cash and we shown the order had already been paid and accepted online, driver rang shop to confirm this however the shop told the driver not to give us the food unless we paid again, even though we shown proof on my online banking of payment but they would not give us our order, the money was still claimed for when we received nothing, I’m having to go to NatWest to try and get refund from them!!!!! Ridiculous and embarrassing! Would never go back.

Don't bother. 1hr 50 mins and still counting for pancakes. Placed an order and was repeatedly told it was on the way. Still hasn't arrived. Save yourself the bother and don't order.... even on a Monday night!

Just ordered a milk shake for myself and partner and I must say it was the nicest milkshake I've had it was still really cold on arrival. Delivery said 22:50 but it actually arrived early so no complaints on delivery time.

Ordered yesterday through dessert App waited over an hour so ended up ringing could not get through emailed and was told freezers broken shop shut they would sort order and refund today have phoned emailed no reply husband has been down to shop its closed not looking very good for refund or order they just ignore you

AVOID AVOID AVOID… Order never arrived, called after 2 hours was promised a call back waited a further 20 mins called again to be told it had been delivered to the wrong address and my order would be reissued. Waited a further 2 hours called again to be told they knew nothing about it and lied about previous conversations, the manager agreed to issue me a refund that I still haven’t had almost a week later!!

Great selection of desserts and good service too. My only suggestion is that they should consider lowering their gelato prices if customers only want I've cream on it's own.

Milk cake comes plane with no toppings on top ( manager lie over the phone this is way it comes) instead blondie got brownie ( manager said they run out of blondies) missing chocolate sauce for cookie dough! Driver who meant to collect brownie for refund didn’t show up! All they said is NOT genuine sorry. Totally ignored by staff who don’t care about customer. Definitely will not order again!

Went there today to have a cake with family and friends wanted to eat in so we choose a table ordered our cakes and milkshakes fine then serve them in the cardboard boxes instead of a plate might as well just order a takeaway and took it home . Last time we went served on a plate much nicer Presentation means everything will think again before coming back

Food not delivered despite waiting for 3 hours.

Waited almost 2 and a half hours for our food. Restaurant was not interested in our complaint and refused a refund. Said there was traffic, which I know is untrue as I'm a delivery driver myself and we live in a small town, not a city. Waffles and custard were cold, ice cream had melted. Worst service I've ever received and I was a regular customer.

The delivery was really fast and good and the driver was really nice,the milkshakes I ordered tasted amazing but after drinking it I had a bad stomach ache for hours my friend who also ordered the same from here also complained of the same thing the waffles on the other hand were amazing!

I waited nearly 2 hours for my order paid extra for cream on my milkshake and it looks like they just couldn’t be a***d i also ordered cookie dough witch was stone cold I order from here pretty regularly I will now find somewhere else so disappointed if your going to charge for a service you need to deliver on it absolutely ridiculous I would never recommend this place

Shocking waited over 2 hours for my delivery and then it turned up wrong and the cookie dough was cold they say they was really busy what sort of rubbish is that says on website you will receive it within 30 mins not 3 hours

ordered from little desert shop at 6.45, said order would be here by 7.30 it’s now 8 o’clock and no delivery I phoned up at 7.45 as it said on the app and email that my was order was completed at 7.21 but he said it was still there then he checked my postcode and said it’s been out for delivery Tried calling again but no reply!! Finally at 8.05 arrived but no straws or anything, phoned restaurant and they didn’t seem bothered at all Not sure how supposed to drink such a thick milkshake with no straws and the cookie dough was black underneath (burnt) and stone cold A waste of £40 as still sat waiting for straws which can guarantee won’t turn up as each time phoned they didn’t seem bothered at all!!! Wouldn’t recommend

My husband took us into this ice cream shop couple of weeks ago. My experience was absolutely great 😊 . Reading from the reviews , people ordering experience was sadly not great. Luckily my first time in there was when hubby took us with our two sons. As a black family in this town I have always been a little weary of how people would treat us , and not all experiences have been great, hence we never dined in, in this town, we always go further outside the town . But I have to say the service was absolutely fantastic, the gentleman who took our order was really polite , calm, and was very helpful in understanding the menu . And the ICE CREAMS WERE ANOTHER LEVEL . So niceee my husband both another one to take home . To make our experience even more pleasant, they played popular Afrobeat songs , awww I was really surprised and so happy they made us feel at ease and very comfortable. My only critic would be that the shop os a little too small 😊 and a bit cramp . But apart from that , I would recommend it especially to eat in … The Prices match what you actually get

Wow,just ordered via Uber eats, received a call saying no hot drinks available!!!!! WTH ORDERED £25 Worth of treats, was wife's birthday I arrived home late so couldn't Go for meal was told couldn't cancel cappuccino had to have can of coke again WTH my wife likes coffee with Cake ,so after a 12hr day had to drive to Costa instead of having shower and birthday cuddle just not good enough

2nd time ive had to ring to chase my order. Waited almost 2 hours. Restaurant tried to tell me I'd not ordered it & then it was suddenly 10 mins away. Very disappointed and don't think i would order from there again. After calling twice to be told on both occasions it was on its way, they eventually called me back and admitted that in actual fact it hadn't been collected and they'll be cancelling my order 😠

People, please don't rate this place low because of driver issues, they're usually completely unaffiliated with the restaurant. Seems a bit unfair. Absolutely LOVE this place, really good cakes, tarts, cookies etc. Their milkshakes are 10/10. There's a lot to choose from which means you can try something new every time.

We’ve ordered from here a few times over the last couple months, the food is always great! Presented well, tastes great and provide good portions - great value for money. I would recommend. I would haven given 5 stars but our last order took over 1 hour 30 minutes and when we called up to chase the order the staff member wasn’t very helpful and wasn’t able to locate our order. After they struggled a colleague stepped in and found it straight away. The whole call just wasn’t dealt with very well, if this was our first experience I don’t think we’d order again, hopefully it was just a one off as previous orders have been delivered in a timely manner!

Looks defiantly are deceiving, our order turned up milkshake was so thick & the desert was really dry with hardly any chocolate over the profiteroles. Defiantly not worth the price. Won’t be ordering from here again. Tastes awful!

Brilliant, when they don't mess you about. Also, don't believe the 20-30 minute delivery time. Had one great experience and two bad experiences so far.

Had 2 deliveries now first was OK but disappointed as the cookie doughs had hardly any toppings. Cheesecake horrible. Tried again tonight. Absolutely terrible cookie dough is 1mm thick...looks like they have changed the containers to bigger ones so the cookie dough is so thin. Rang up and all they could say was sorry some people are new!! Scandalous prices...looks nothing like pictures...Won't order again

Ordered a waffle and a milkshake, the waffle arrived the milkshake did not. After communicating with the delivery driver he returned swiftly with the milkshake and another waffle, whether this was a mistake or a kind gesture for forgetting the milkshake remains a mystery, however I'm happy so I thought I'd write a 5 star review.

Tiniest most expensive desert I've ever had. Did not satisfy me at all. On the phone to the delivery driver for half a hour trying to direct him. He was further away from my house than the shop is. Absolute madness

***Update - it is now 23:50, the Little Dessert Shop, Runcorn is due to close soon and I never received my order, but still got charged for it. There seems to be a similar theme on their Facebook reviews too.*** If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered through Uber Eats at 19:20ish, it is now 22:05 and my order has still not turned up! I can't even call to query, as the number given just has an automated message that repeats over and over.

Sloppy, hardly any toppings, left more than half, very disappointing.

What a fabulous little dessert shop! We picked up a few treats from here and they well exceeded our expectations. Its well worth a visit if you fancy a little bit of luxury at really great prices!! Would highly recommend it!!

Wow....10x better than my expectations. Finally a good dessert place in my town.. good to get for the family and kids . Alot of options. Would deffinstely reccomend to everyone around.
