Little Dessert Shop - Reading in Reading

This is a good place to go and sit to catch you breath after shopping or to catch up with friends. While the cake was not my cup of tea there was plenty. The tea was a nice flavorsome. The people who were working tried very hard to please.

steer clear, ordered 2 sharing platters for a family of 6, toppings came first, 10mins later came the waffles and pancakes, 10 mins after the icecream, expressed my unhappiness at the service and way it was done, and the waiter laughed don't know if he didn't understand or was generally stupid, waffles stone cold and very unhappy, do not waste your time or money here and no toilet facilities

Had the worst experience, the food was not edible it was stale and soggy tried to revive a refund and was treated in a unprofessional manner ! Was l laughed at by a member of staff who proceeded to walk away whilst trying to resolve the issue I then wasted around 45 minutes to a hour trying to speak with the manger who was some what helpful however it’s been a whole week and no response to my emails or calls. I would seriously advise you dine somewhere else to save your time and keep piece of mind.

Received soggy waffles, soggy crepes and stale brownies. Gave it straight back to the staff and explained that I was not satisfied with the food, I would not be eating it can I have a refund. Was told that wouldn't be possible. Spent an hour having to justify why I deserved a refund, which shows just how appalling their staff treat their customers. No manager was in the store that I could speak with. One of the staff members found the situation highly amusing. We simply wanted a refund for not being satisfied with the quality of the food. We got absolutely nowhere with the staff. Have emailed across a formal complaint to the company to which I still haven't received a response too. I have eaten at so many amazing places and have never ever experienced anywhere as awful as this place. If I could give this place MINUS stars I would.

Received uncooked cookie dough from here, complained to the staff and was told there is nothing they can do!

If you looking for a good waffle this is the shop. Service flexible and the best homemade waffles, prepared on the spot and not sugary.

Food took a very long time to come, extras were forgotten, staff spilt coffee all over the till area where we were being served, even though there were a lot of staff they were working slow, no customer service
