Little Dessert Shop Merry Hill in Dudley

I highly recommend their Red Velvet cheese cake which is really nice👍🏻 if you have any problem with your order staff are always there to help and they try their best to keep customers happy; also they do one scoop of Vanilla with all the cakes, brownies and Cheesecakes.

Really disappointed with my visit. My wife and I fancied a coffee, and went for the Spanish Latte which could be customised with a slice of cake. We took two red velvet cake but when we collected our order we were told that the hot drink machine was broken, so they had given us a small scoop of ice cream instead. At no point of ordering we're we told that the machine was not working. £11.50 for two slices of, in my opinion as a cake maker non description red velvet cake and tasteless vanilla ice cream. If I had not been so flabbergasted I would have asked for my money back. The whole visit was marred by the poor service and lacklustre, half apology.

We enjoyed our experience at the little dessert shop ,great friendly service and the food is always amazing .we had ice creams and took cake home .

My partner is coeliac and, therefore, being Gluten Free is a necessity and not a life style choice. When we ask staff members of any restaurant about ingredients and allergy information, we naturally expect informed responses even if they have to double check things. Better safe than sorry!! Despite going to check the ingredients of the ice cream going into a smoothie and then assuring us that it was Gluten Free, it became immediately evident that this was wrong. Upon checking with the Manager, we were told straight away that there was wheat in the ice cream which my partner had already started drinking and a reaction had already begun. EDUCATE YOUR STAFF. VEGAN DOES NOT MEAN GLUTEN FREE. ALLERGIES AREN'T A JOKE.

Good customer service and brilliant food highly recommend to all people. And the food has good texture.

Fantastic place situated in the food court of Merry Hill. Made for a brilliant treat after a long shopping trip! With the centre losing some of its stores, we are always glad to grab a cake from here. The staff are so friendly every time we visit and even recognise us now when we go lol. A real gem in the centre. Definitely recommend visiting!!

I came here yesterday and was served by Anna, her service was brilliant and gave me great recommendations and was so polite and friendly Dessert was amazing definitely will be going back soon!

I was in merry hill and stopped by I was served by a lovely girl I believe called Hattie, she really made my visit lovely and the food was very good! Will be visiting again ☺️

This was my first visit to the Little Dessert Shop. My granddaughter wanted a cookie dough dessert, she asked what was available, the rude abrupt male assistant mumbled the options, I asked him to repeat them, he quickly repeated them, my Granddaughter then ordered. He then asked eat in or take away? She was trying to decide, when he abruptly asked again, I said she is thinking what to do. Why do people with this type of attitude work with Customers, I would have told him to keep his cookie dough, but I didn’t want my Granddaughter to be disappointed. This was my first and last visit, looking at the reviews, I’m not the only one who feels this way

I’ve been here a few times before and decided to visit again with both my boys. My 7 year old had the vanilla milkshake with cream, he said he actually preferred the Starbucks one and next time we were to visit he asked if he could buy his drink from there. My 11 year old has waffles with strawberry. Not as many strawberries put on the waffle as advertised on the websites and strawberry icecream pots from the freezer given. He got strawberry where I think vanilla would have gone better with the dessert. I had the strawberry and banana crepe, again was ok very thin pieces of fruit on and luke warm at best. We paid just under £20. I don’t mind paying extra for nice desserts and in future I think I will stick to Creamz!

I have bought dessert for my family from here countless times, but this Sunday the blonde assistant was very rude. She was very brusque and rushed my 5 year old terribly. I politely requested her to "give her a few seconds" which really fell on deaf ears and she proceeded to bull doze her way through the transaction for the over priced piece of cake and milkshake (pro tip, people are paying the extra for the "experience"). If my child was not with me I would have left. Very bitter after taste!

The best ice cream ever! We've been twice now and yes it's a little expensive but the ice cream is definitely worth it! The gentleman serving us was really friendly! Also this Is cash only which is advertised

Visited Little Desserts in merry hill , big queue for a Monday! Service slow, very slow, staff are rude as previous posts have also pointed out, agree they could do with some customer based training. All in all plenty of what I ordered , very yummy. Just wouldn't go back!

Portions decent but prices are high. Having said that the food is scrumptious and really tasty and will presented. Good for a treat.

I have dined in this eatery within Merry Hill shopping centre for many years and have passed this desert shop many times. As a treat today I decided to purchase the Red Velvet Cheesecake from the Little Desert Shop around 5:40pm this evening. Unfortunately when tasting this desert the cake was extremely dry and tasted like it had been sitting in situ for many hours, so I calmly went back to the counter and asked for a refund on this product. Speaking to the male member of the staff, he asked what the issue was with the product and I stated the cake was very dry so can I have a refund please. Straight away this member of staff stated that there is nothing wrong with the cake, they sell many of these, the cake was fresh from this morning and he refuses to give me a refund. I then asked if I could have an exchange instead as I find this cake inedible! This member of staff stated no as it is my personal taste and there is nothing wrong with the cake!!! This is when my calmness and patience changed as I had a member of staff from a well known company stating that he was not willing to help or assist my unpleasant experience at all! This is very disappointing and as I have lectured and assisted at a professional bakery and resturant at a University, I am very aware what these types of products should taste like! I eventually had an exchange as the member of staff stated that it is as a good will gesture which upset me even more! I will not be returning again! Very poor products and customer service!

Went to merryhell saturday afternoon for that last minute Christmas shop, as going away for Christmas and wont be around.Called into Eat Central for lunch, one can only describe it as Hell in 40 Square Meters.Got a slice of Red Velvet Cheesecake, or should I say Slither of cheesecake, and what's with these grease proof Boxes, what's happened to the Air tight Plastic containers ?? Dam box has dried the cake out.Plastic containers stop it from doing so, so I've now got a dried up slither of cake that's dry as hell, not great considering it was nearly £5 a slice .and your staff need to go on a customer service training course, but I suppose only paying basic wage you get what you pay for.Oh well, that was the last time I'll use your shop And go to Mark's & Spencer's for a Full size Carrot Cake for not a great deal more in price.

Cookie dough so thin - especially for the price. Ferrero Rochers were either stale, or maybe it was due to the bake - but in any event chewy and unpleasant. Also £1.50 additional to swap from Vanilla ice cream to another flavour - rip off!Disappointed, won’t be back!

The people who work here have clearly never heard of customer service. Complained to head office due to the manager making me feel discriminated against. Absolutely awful place and an absolute rip off. Will never return. Would give it 0 stars if I could.

I cannot believe i orders a cookie dough with custard and the cookie dough came flat and with ice cream.. i peeled the cookie dough of the greesepaper and it couldnt evan come off propperly because it was that thin.. i order cookie dough all.the time and it has never came like this. The fact i have also put in the resturant notes i want custard and not icecream is also disappointing, they never payed attention to my order. Ive called the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager, bear in mind the manager answered the call he had the cheek to say he will call me back

Ordered two sundaes and the oreo cheesecake from this place and they were delicious! Will order again. A little pricey but the creations of what they make and the choices are great. The bubblegum sundae did get a little sickly after abit with the blue hubba bubba sauce mixed with the digestive biscuit at the bottom but apart from that it was nice. Will try something different next time. Thanks!

I went to this store just yesterday and I was very much impressed. The service was superb and you can watch the chefs make your dessert. I would highly recommend to anyone

Looks like it’s a nice place. But they have a huge clear sign about allergens but no options for people with allergens. Only 1 cake with no eggs. No milk substitute for milkshakes or anything?
