The worst fish chips I’ve ever had , the fish was actually black inside, the batter was awful, the biggest waste of nearly £40

Awful fish...looked raw or the dodgy bit that should of been cut out, covered in soggy thick batter...yuk! Chips very dry & chucked half in bin. Needless to say will not be returning anytime soon!!

Very expensive… and not the best quality for the high price. Won’t be returning. £6 for a large bag of chips… no thanks

The pizzas are so tasty, plenty of toppings, cheese and sauce. Better than the big companies pizzas and a good price. The battered chips are also really good, not overly greasy and generous portions

If you like battered chips I recommend this place as they are lovely, as are the non-battered chips. Mini fishes aren’t great but everything else I’ve tried is good. Prices are good and the staff are friendly.

Asked for curry sauce they gave me Chinese curry sauce instead of chip shop curry sauce without asking me. The two are very different. Dinner ruined and not coming back

Probably the worst chicken meat I've had bland and very fatty .....and I'm pretty certain I was short changed

Popped in 8:10 minnie fish special, gravy like water, fish must have been on hot plate for a long time, the server didn't ask if I wanted salt & vinegar, so much salt, 90% in the bin, UP UR GAME, 0/10 😡😡😡😡😡

Poor, that's the polite way of putting it. They had no southern fried chicken available and the staff couldn't follow a simple salad order and then said it was my fault she made the mistake...make it make sense haha The rest of the other food was nice but still disappointing.

Good food, good staff, just note its cash only... There's some cash points over the road though

The pizzas from the Pizzeria were fantastic, much better than any top brand pizza, stand watching them created & cooked. We had a 50/50 16" for £15 really good value.

A good chippy and pizzeria, serving battered, as well as normal, chips. Pizzas are freshly made and very tasty. Be prepared for a wait if you order pizza over the counter, rather than in advance. Cash only, if you order over the counter, which is unusual these days and hence the dropped star.

Inedible chips, poor quality fish. I’ll stick to the Ocean Fish bar from now on. At least there the chips are always tasty and fresh.

Usually to a very high standard but unfortunately on my last visit the battered chips seemed to have been standing a long time and were quite unpleasant. Won't stop me going again because apart from this time, the food is of outstanding quality

Used to be the best chippy in the village battered chips were rubbery and just luke warm . fish was less than average there are no excuses for bad quality for the high price charged.

Visited little chippy as I used to live in the village and hadn't been back for a long time. Everything was just as expected and food was excellent.

Great battered chips. Haven't had them in years and the kebab meat special was really good too. This is probably the only thing worth coming to in Pelsall apart from Sim Mayou hardware. Great chip shop

Nice chippy, pleasant staff. Only reason for 4 stars is that if you like your burger buns toasted they haven't a toaster. Apart from that it's OK. Battered and plain chips whatever your taste.

Enjoyed the food staff very efficient and friendly

Never had a bad pizza from here lovely place. Chippy is quality too but every now and then get a bad meal from there and often they forgot pots of sauce, make sure you have it before you leave and you're all set.

Ordered online via food hub. Payment taken, order accepted. Then cancelled and a refund set up for 3-5 working days. My phone number was on the order.... Why didn't you just call me to explain that you had no drivers? Or not accept the order in the first place? then I could have collected. Instead you lost the order, as I don't have the money as its with your online provider.

Bostin mixed kebab meat and the battered chips are superb! Shame it's cash only, but there is a little bit of the old fashioned charm about that! 👍 We keep going here again and again because it is just that good!

Had chips and pizza chips warmed up pizza base not cooked enough havnt been there for a couple of years because of the last lot of food we hadnit cheap don't mind paying through the nose to enjoy it thought would try once more because as a local they need help won't be giving it another try SORRY FOLKS

Normally the battered chips are the best in the area. Tonight they were soggy and cold ish. Tasted like lunchtimes leftover chips reheated.

This place has really gone down hill fast. Kebab meat undercooked. Straight in bin. Chips greasy. Used to be a good chip shop please take note and sort the quality out

Delicious food every time! When we moved into the area we tried different chippys but this one by far was the BEST I have tasted to date! Proper chippy chips, amazing orange chips, friendly staff every visit, very Covid safe. So glad we found this chippy!

I had a favourite chippy in great barr but I have to be honest. These chips and Southern fried chicken are now the best I have ever tasted! Succulent. Absolutely cooked to perfection AND super cheap at less than £4 including a pot of curry sauce. Bonus. This place offers battered chips too but they had run out by the time we got there - I can imagine they taste even better. Staff were friendly and greet you with a smile.

Shocking shocking shocking no masks, no social distancing ,no hand sanitizing , silly, cheap, cardboard protection screens, the staff are just lovely but so so forgotton, no protection for them,the specials are far to big the food get squashed down into the huge boxes, oozing curry all over the place.

Poped in for a mixed meat special large and a doner meat special also large same price . But the doner meat was very much smaller. The 3 meat mix was double the amount, so didn't seem fair.

Tried to place an order through the phone and they told me to wait a minute and I waited and waited and waited and she never came back on the phone and I arrived with phone in hand and even then they looked bewildered rubbish went be going there again

First time I’ve been in this fish shop just to try it. And I can honestly say I will never go back. The fish was one of the worst I have ever tasted. Black skin all inside and the batter was not edible at all. Nothing seemed fresh, the mushy peas tasted water downed. Should have returned it all but the staff seemed so rude and in a rush taking my order I just threw it all in the bin as I’m not local. Terrible service all round.
