Little Buddha is an A class Chinese take-away located in a decent part of Salford called Monton, or sometimes classed as Swinton. It’s a stand-alone building with a very nice store front and nice interior to match. The food is always fresh, but that comes at a cost. Sometimes you’ll find with most dishes, the prices are more than your average chinese take-away.

This is simply one of the cleanest take aways and freshest tasting take aways I have ever had,lovely food and staff.

I have been eating from Chinese takeaways for 40 years, the takeaway we ordered, during a visit to relations in Swinton Manchester is now right at the top of my list. On Saturday night we ordered a very eclectic mix of dishes to share. Beef fillet in oyster - Thick succulent beef cooked to perfection. Singapore chow mein -- Wonderfully moist but perfectly dry. Thai green chicken - Pungent and soft Crispy Shredded beef - Excedely crispy and never tough. One of our party was not a Chinese food fan - Even their fish, chips and peas was very tasty The takeaway menu was very understated and iI did not expect much. I suspect we shall be visiting our relations in Swinton more often. Sad because I know they cannot deliver to Cirencester

Used to be great but steadily declining over the last year. This evening's delivery was absolutely disgusting. Chips tasted like 2 days old warmed through twice. Prawn toast had seen better days, several days! Batter on fish was greasy soggy and stodgy, the pastry on the pies was wet and soggy. I'm deleting the number on my phone and chucking the menu in the bin.

Ordered loads on Christmas Eve for the four of us. The peking ribs weren’t the best in the sharing starter but everything else was absolutely delicious 😋

Used the home delivery service for the 5 course meal for 2 during lockdown for my son’s birthday. Was excellent and I ate everything that was put in front of me! Special mention for the peking ribs and beef in black bean says. Delicious!

Go here regularly. Have ordered Salt and Pepper Chicken, which is cooked very well in a nice batter that soaks up a lot of flavour from the oil and the veg. It comes with peppers and onions and other veg which is also cooked nicely with lots of flavour. The first time I tried this was by accident, they had forgotten our chips so we had to drive back and get them when we realised, and they gave us S&P Chicken to compensate, everyone makes mistakes, and they're lovely people who didnt hesitate to give us esentially another main. The Chicken Fried Rice is nice, usual fried rice, but sometimes a little salty for my liking. Szechuan Chicken is also good, nicely cooked and drizzled in sauce. The chips are great, nice and crispy and lovely on the inside as well.

This is a very good restaurant. The food is very good and the service nearly matching. The appetizers were delicious and served timely. The main course was very well prepared and delicious. The duck was moist and tasty, the sushi was fresh and presented perfectly. I recommend Little Buddha, it's a great choice when in Nama Bay.

Ordered from here on 13/05/19, we had the following:- Salt and pepper crispy chicken. ( basically a tub with loads of onions in and a few pieces of chicken with no heat whatsoever) Chow mein. ( greasy salty noodles with bean sprouts ) Chicken fried rice. ( quite flavourless rice with chicken that appeared to have been soaked in a very salty soy sauce) Chips. ( lovely well cooked chips, touch too greasy for me but everyone ate these. Result - Not returning!

This is simply the best in this category of food. No need for questions.... just order .... everything is top notch

If you want restaurant quality food to take home, Little Buddha is the takeaway for you. Clean and modern with friendly staff. Extensive menu which caters for every taste. Thoroughly recommended it.

Love the food from here, it might not be the most authentic Chinese food but it definitely tastes good

We regularly buy our Chinese takeaway form here, good food, great range, good service and prices are about the same as all other Chinese takeaways. You can also pay with card!

Good quality food and sevice great standard from Chinese to tradition english. Very good salt and pepper chicken wings

After sampling many of the Chinese takeaways in Swinton have come to the conclusion that this is the best.Excellent varied menu ,special fried rice top of the pops.Very speedy home delivery good value.

ordered our food told 1 hour which is ok for friday night ,arrived on the hour like they said but wrong order we only found it was wrong order after we started serving out.so we phoned them up they said they put wrong labels on, and can we rebag it.we said but we have put the ribs on our plates,no scoop it up and put it back in tray omg.so we did.he came back 10 mins later to collect it and said your order will be ready again in 10 mins,oh no it wasnt 10 pm it arrived from the first phone call at 1920 to order it.and i bet some person is eating our served up food,not even an offer of some refund after the marathon wait and mix up.

Have had a takeaway from here a couple of times. It's always good. The chicken is a little processed but it's alright. The prawns are good, as are the salt and pepper chips. Always a good take away.
