The food was really tasty and atmosphere was really good, the decor was fun and the night we went had a live musician.

Great food and service restaurant very quiet when we arrived the next people to arrive placed right next to us and spoke very loudly which was a bit irritating

Great experience, will definitely go again! Delicious food, friendly staff and I liked the decor. We went on a Sunday and it wasnt too busy so perfect for a nice meal. Set menus and A la carte ones are well priced and varied enough.

Very happy with our dinner at Little Bay. Cozy atmosphere, pretty and unique decoration, and I appreciate the musician that playing on the guitar the whole time I was there (Impressive!!) Food is good. They are very generous with their portion, especially dessert.

The inside at the back is made to look like a theatre and is very cute and quirky m. We received amazing service and really enjoyed the food and attitude of the staff. I recommend going as a group, it's great for tourists, and there is love singing too! The singing is pretty full on but the singer moves around and takes lots of breaks so it wasn't overwhelming. Highly recommend for a "different" experience.

Tried this place for the first time, but unfortunately wouldn’t return. We didn’t enjoy the food. However, service was very good and waiters very friendly.

Lovely, unique place to eat. Food was yummy (most of it at least as the honey-roasted carrots were actually fennel coated and I really detest aniseed so couldn't eat them), portions were good and it was brought out in a timely manner. Very well priced too and would certainly recommend, just don't forget the fennel carrots if you don't like aniseed! 😂🙈

Took my mum her for her 85th birthday lunch - she had been to a previous restaurant on this site - Le Chalet Suisse back in the 1970's The food was very good and the service exceptional. The interior of the restaurant is very quirky with the back half set up as old fashioned theatre boxes. Worth a trip if you're in South Croydon..

It is always a pleasure at Little Bay, the atmosphere is lively and fun, without being noisy or annoying, everyone is having a good time here. Love all the food I have tried so far and the Sunday roast is also great. European standard food at more than reasonable prices. I love this place.

I (first-timer) was quite excited about the restaurant setup, so I definitely believe you will be too. The order was sirloin steak paired with red wine and banofee pie for dessert. It was succulent with real love for culinary and full marks for the service done by the ladies in the front house. I would unquestionably recommend this place to my friends & family. This place was recommended to us. We went there to celebrate my birthday. We were very disappointed. The food wasn't very nice. Very oily. The dessert was the best part. We won't be going back

This little gem is amazing. Me amd my partner have been going there for at least 3+ years. The food and staff are always on point. They make you feel welcome and the food is delicious. I would definitely recommend this place.

What a fantastic place Little Bay croydon is. The food was absolutely AMAZING and such incredibly good value. We were a table of 11 and tried many different items all of which were exceptional. The service was good and the staff were extremely helpful (two of us had food allergies). The quirky decor was relaxing and welcoming. All in all a great experience - will definitely visit again - maybe on an opera night. Thank you all at little bay for a super birthday meal.

Such good value for money. 2 of us had the set menu, starter, and main. 2 chose from a la carte, starter, and main. We shared a pudding and had 2 bottles of wine. £40 Staff were great, and we were serenaded by the guitarist. Great night out. Would highly recommend .

Nice place located 10 km away, easily reachable, welcoming and qualified staff, clean rooms and clean beds with very comfortable and scented pillows, good price at least for the month of January, for me it's feasible, I don't know...

Not complain, but more focusing on tables, could make a big change,,I've been happy to be honest, but it's just an advice.

This hidden gem is well worth the visit. We took the dishes as is and didn't feel the need to ask the chef to adjust them just for us because we're just not that special ! Looking forward to going back again.

I love this place. It may be small and a little cramped in places but that just adds to the atmosphere. The food has always been good and I will keep returning.

Man, if I was a poet I'd write a sonnet to the lamb dish, the butter beans are legendary, possibly the best I've tasted ever dot com. Other than the fabulous food, the staff are great plus the venue is cool. Shabby chic. So cool. Love it.

I didn’t expect the food to be 11/10 given the cheap prices, we absolutely loved it and will definitely come back. Interior is very fun too

We had a nice evening at Little Bay. Service was outstanding, very friendly attentive staff. Great place to celebrate a birthday. We were seated in a booth which was fun. Our experience was let down a bit by the veggie dishes, we went for the vegan burger which was not great, tasteless vegetable and potato patty drowned in mayonnaise and served with what seemed like a cooked salad. Would be great to have a few nicer veggie options on the menu especially as the meat eaters all really enjoyed their dishes. The roasted lamb was served with what looked like a butter bean side- even that would probably make a better vegetarian dish than a really average veggie burger or a tired vegetable risotto.

Always a good meal at Little Bay. Has to be the most consistently good restaurant I know. Would highly recommended to all. And then there's the decor..

Exceptional Christmas meal! We went as a group of 13 and had preordered which we hoped would help, last year at a different restaurant the speed of service was awful and food all arrived separately. Little Bay was exceptional. Warm friendly service, starters arrived quickly and all 13 dishes brought within a minute of each other. Same for the mains and desserts. Food was tasty and everyone was very happy! For £26 you cannot go wrong with this gem! 🤩 I would advise to stick with their normal menu and avoid the Christmas turkey though, the normal offerings are just too good!! 👍 Thanks for a fantastic evening, attentive service and great atmosphere. A lovely evening had by all. ✅

A lady opera singer was wondering about which makes it different.

Food was amazing, very filling and cooked to perfection, sirloin steak highly reccomended. Service with a smile and very knowledgeable. Atmosphere was busy and happy, the live music was really good as well, and the decorations in general, and Christmas ones alike, were fun and well thought through.

Amazing as always never had a bad meal yet we also came christmas day last year was amazing food good value great service highly recommend.

Quirky restaurant greeted and given a booth, waiter and waitresses were very polite and service was good The food was lovely nice portion sizes, they even played happy birthday and had a candle on my dessert. Would be nice to have a bigger Cocktail menu. Shame the atmosphere was ruined by the Chef ranting and raving loudly about us wanting a prawn cocktail starter without Avocado in it, whilst walking past our booth to the kitchen shouting No there is no plain prawn cocktail ! I told the waitresses I heard what he said and I'm that it was unprofessional.

Couldn’t have asked for more… exceptional service from our waitress Niamh who was extremely attentive, friendly, and when considering how busy lunch period had been she still made time for a laugh and conversation with our group. The food also kept with the theme of quality with no fault to be found, delivering great food and drink at a very reasonable price point. All in all an outstanding meal made not just by the company kept but by the remarkable service and meal delivered, highest compliments and I would highly recommend anyone to experience Little Bay for themselves if you haven’t already. Thank you very much to Niamh and the team and look forward to seeing you again soon! 😁

Little Bay is usually our go to when friends and family visit, a very quirky restaurant with very friendly staff. The food menu is the perfect size which allows people of different tastes to find something they'll enjoy. Plus they offer course deals which is a great option. Always surprised when the bill comes and it isn't more. The fixtures could probably do with abit of TLC especially the front part of the restaurant but overall in good shape. It can get pretty warm up in the rafter seats under all the fabric on the ceilings. The fabrics could also do with a uplift. The oprah on Fridays is very camp and it definitely can get busy so always worth booking before hand. A lovely little gem in the heart of South Croydon.

A really quaint little place. I loved the querkiness of this restaurant. I have not experienced anything like it before. The little booths, the hippy, bohemian and Arabic decor was lovely. The food was great, as was the service. Very reasonably priced. I would come again and would definitely recommend. So original!

We went for dinner on opera night. Restaurant was full so a little busy and tight. Food choices are just right and average taste. Good value and reasonable price.

Excellent food, as always, superb value for money. Excellent service, as always. This is our go to place. We used to visit it back in 1995 when they had a 3 course meal for £5. Yes £5.

We were there for quick dinner. Service vas really fast, food really good and served beautifully. We paid £50 for 2 set menus, starter and main + drinks. The decor in the restaurant is amazing! I love every bit of it :)

Good Food, good service but as good as the opera singer was it was a bit too much on off with the speaker next to the balcony. Sometimes we couldn't talk properly. have been since and it's been good yet expect a opera singer mid conversation.

The food here was great. The staff there were nice and helpful when we asked about what we wanted. It was lovely (but slightly too loud) having the lady singing opera to us while we had our dinner.

Great little place, lovely food, the paella was very very good, nice atmosphere on Thursday night, good service, super easy to get too on the bus. We defo will return back here.

Affordable and tasty food served in a quirky restaurant - half the restaurant is themed like a theatre. If you would like a “box” seat, then book by phone - they do not seem to check their email/website reservations as regularly

We were lucky to have picked the theatre booths for our team lunch last week. The servings of foods were generous, staffs were friendly and the atmosphere was great!

Been at the Little Bay several times and it never disappoints. The staff are lovely and always very helpful. The service is good and quick. The food portions are good and always taste delicious. Only negative would be that they could freshen up the booth's as they are a little worn

Excellent food for the price paid. Portions are generous. We had rib of beef on their Sunday lunch menu, and it was very tender and tasty with all the trimmings. They do a set price menu and a la carte menu but two courses will cost you around £20. Staff are friendly and polite

I have been coming here for years but these guys accommodated a large group of us at very short notice after a funeral, and I’d like really like to thank them again.

Friday night was amazing with the Oprah. The food was definitely value for money, I normally pay double for the same price, so I feel like I got a bargain with the roast, and the service was impeccable. I can not complain.

This is a charming and quirky little restaurant in south Croydon. Very dramatic decor and live entertainment. I had the three course Christmas menu and unfortunately the food was very disappointing in taste and small portion size of the turkey main course. The starter and desert were ok. Apparently their Sunday roast is a lot better but not sure I will bother go back. Staff and live performer were great but was a real shame about the food.

A unique dining experience, it's got different booths and all quite higgledy piggledy! A great set menu with good portion sizes at a good price. Staff are friendly. I would highly recommend.

Went to Little Bay for the first time in December 2023. The food was fantastic and very good service. We were at the back of the restaurant which was like an old theatre/opera house with small, cosy balconies for an intimate meal. I will definitely be going back👍
