Lion House Restaurant in North Devon

Another excellent stay at the guesthouse. Very good and helpful hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The food is out of this world, both breakfast and evening meal with a very extensive menu. The rooms are of a very high standard, beautifully fresh and clean. I would highly recommend to anyone and we will certainly stay here again when visiting friends in the area

What a fab B&B, certainly the nicest one with the best service we can remember visiting.. The owner Andrew is a really nice guy and nothing is too much trouble. Our room was clean, tidy and comfortable and had all the mod cons including Alexa ! The bathroom was lovely with a brilliant large walk in shower and large comfortable bath. But saving the best for last, the home cooked food with both our breakfasts and evening meals were delicious and served with generous portions. All in all we think we were very lucky to find the Lion House, would recommend it to anyone and will definitely be back.

We had the most amazing dinner at the Lion House Restaurant with our friends Kevin and Wendy. I had the sea bass and my husband had steak. The food is cooked to perfection with generous portions. The prices are very reasonable and their is plenty of variety on the menu. It is advisable to book as this is a very popular venue. The Hosts are very friendly and the Chef is first class. They have a car park so parking is not a problem and they also do bed and breakfast. Thank you Lion House we had the most amazing evening the sea bass was the best I have ever tasted and we look forward to visiting again next year when we are on our holidays. Gordon and Julie x

If you are looking for good wholesome food, at a very reasonable price, then this is the place for you. The food was good, starters, main course and desert. Don’t be fooled by the bijou size of the restaurant, the hosts are the most accommodating and friendly we have ever met, and nothing was too much trouble. They were so accommodating for a six year old who hasn’t stopped talking about the hosts and the food since ! Try this restaurant, you won’t be disappointed, and even if you are then it won’t have cost a fortune !!
