Lion Farm Fish Bar in Sandwell

WOULDN’T recommend lion farm fish bar at all! I wouldn’t usually do a post like this, but the pure disrespect I had yesterday I am! I brought chips with mayo from the establishment yesterday for my children.. the mayo smelt of what I can only describe as cat wee. I asked nicely for these chips to be changed, as the mayo didn’t smell the best.. three members of staff then tried ganging up on me.telling me this mayo smells normal and they won’t be changing the chips. Went back and forth with them for a good 5 minutes before I asked for the goods back to take to trade and standards as I could see all the sauces were on the side in 18 degree heat,they told me it was a FRIDGE. they did end up changing my chips, but when I walked out the building the female told me to “f off” so I turned back round and asked what she said& she couldn’t back her mouth. 0 all round.

The woman that served me got my order wrong. And when I returned to the shop and kindly asked her to replace. Rather than her apologising for the misunderstanding. She proceeded by being rude. She stood there with her hands on her hips, with a bad attitude. Protesting that I had ordered what I ordered. Clearly there is a pandemic, therefore there is a screen between customer and shop assistant. She should have been more understanding, especially at the fact that it was a child’s food who was now going hungry because of her refusal to replace his food. When I asked her who she was speaking to in that tone. She rolled her eyes, shouting ‘here we go again’. As if I hadn’t approached her politely with manners, patience despite my frustration of having to return to the shop for a second time. Highly unprofessional. The owner stood there and did nothing to diffuse the situation. Didn’t offer to take over and make the food. She continued to be rude. And I again told her not to speak to me like that. She replied ‘what are you gonna do?’ Obviously this further angered me. The the other colleague also joined in and sided with her , rather trying to stop her colleague from further disrespecting me. Nobody attempted to resolve the situation for someone who was a REGULAR customer. All workers stood there and allowed this rude woman to disrespect me. Will never give this shop mine or my family/friends custom again.

Super fish and chips served in portions to suit everyones taste, staff are very friendly and prices are very inexpensive
