Been here quite a few times now and really enjoy coming. The food is delicious. Never had a bad meal. Ordered food and came in about 10 minutes. Staff are lovely and very welcoming. Would highly recommend here :)

KEEP AWAY- we were turned away for having a puppy yet their website has pages and pages saying how dog friendly this place is and how they want your dog to have all the home comforts inside and feel at home. Considering people are very big dog lovers in the area this won't go down well at all. Land lady is allergic to all dogs and won't have them inside . If your a dog lover like thousands in the area then take your custom to the many other dog friendly establishments. Shame the land lady can't even update their website,says a lot about the person running an establishment this size and can't even update customers. REPLY TO OWNERS RESPONSE- every single Marsden pub allows dogs inside except this pub ,the coronation in acklam the one in Stockton the list goes on. Maybe the chain shouldn't have gave the job to someone with such an extreme allergy to dogs, which doesn't make any sense at or logic at all

We were moved from an empty bar to find our own seats elsewhere. We found a booth which took 10 minutes to be cleaned of other plates and leftover food. The service was slow and the staff didn't seem to care less. We didn't bother with pudding as the table next to us waited 25 mins for theirs. So just didn't waste our time. Definitely wouldn't return.

10 of us popped in without booking got sat straight away. Ordered food come out pretty quick my pizza was beautiful. My son had sirloin which was cooked perfect. Rob on the bar fantastic, so bubbly was great with my son and niece. Thank you to your team.

Firstly the staff are so friendly and helpful no problem with adapting the menu food is hot and massive portion also if you need something light you can get a small light lunch portion all the areas are very clean we 100% be coming back

Fantastic little local pub, very friendly and welcoming. I really like the fish and chips, curry and specials. The pizza oven is good too. Lovely pub for a drink or a bite to eat. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Food is always really good, has a proper pizza oven too. I particularly like the real ales, plenty of other beers on tap also. Pub is cosy and outdoor area lovely on a sunny day.🍻

Good drinks, real ale, real food, the staff are real people. James, Rob and Zack are cool dudes. Been coming here for years and they never disappoint. I recommend the fish and chips, they home make their batter and everything. Pizzas are good too, they have a proper pizza oven so you can have your real stone baked pizzas. Burgers are good too.

Zak Regan and Julie made a cake disaster turn into a extremely pleasant birthday lunch. Having dropped the cake while taking it out the car being allowed into the kitchen to 'rescue it' gave me time to catch my breath and the help needed to make it presentable for my friends birthday. The help given to decorate the area was simply way beyond my expectations and then making the table look lovely for when the friends arrived. The food was fresh hot and tasty and served with a smile. They got my attention and kindly brought the cake with decoration and a candle and sung happy birthday which made an 86yr old man have a better day than he'd expected. Thank you to the chefs for their high standards in what they serve and to those lovely 3 for giving us a really special day

What a great experience I had at the Lingfield Farm, the staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough to help us, especially Lilly and Phoebe who went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met as well as entertaining our children on the family fun day, whilst dressed as Harry Potter characters. Would definitely recommend going to the family fun days at the Lingfield Farm and I will be attending many more in the future!

Play bingo on a Tuesday, always have a good, enjoyable day. Great atmosphere, with regular faces weekly, making it a comfortable atmosphere.

It was karaoke night which is the last Saturday of every month. We went to celebrate 2 birthdays there was 12 in our party, all 12 enjoyed it. The atmosphere was very friendly, the food and the service was excellent Rob and Mandy looked after us. We are looking forward to our next visit.

as a family we use this pub for most our special occasions, on Friday 26th myself and family went to the Lingfield farm to celebrate my birthday. we ordered and when then food arrived one of the burgers was wrong and another burger was missing, the wrong burger was rectified but when my daughter asked the staff member about missing burger which was for her boyfriend staff member abruptly said no other burger had been ordered and walked off. my daughters boyfriend then went to ask staff about burger were he apparently swore at staff, nothing which of this was ever mentioned to us at the time. the burger eventually arrived. over a hour later while myself and brother in law were playing darts. a male member of staff confronted my 15 yr. old daughter regarding a apparent conversation my daughters had in the toilets. the member of staff didn't speak to anyone of the adults present only confronting the younger people in the group. he told them all had to leave, this included small children, other adults and my mother who was also celebrating the facts she had beaten cancer. the level of service we received was beyond unprofessional.

I went for a meal for my dads birthday and family including my disabled nanna when we were all kicked out for apparently name calling a member of staff even tho this issue happened in the girls toilets and it was their word against 2 others which was not looked into for the truth before the decision was made, the staff member came up to my 15 year old sister making her feel very uncomfortable and intimidated as this grown man had spoke to her disgustingly and never even spoke to a parent he went directly to a 15 year old girl instead when this issue was complained about the staff changed their story and said it was because someone at our table had swore about the time of the food coming which never once happened the staff had an issue right from the very start just cause we complained about a meal being wrong and if that was why we were kicked out why was it left over and hour after this apparent incident to then try remove us they only said this after the apparent incident in the toilets with a specific member of staff that was very unprofessional and let her out of work issues get involved with her professional work just because she didn’t get along with someone not professional at all but it was only after this we were told to leave so it was clearly over that but staff all back eachother up and have their own backs they do not take complains seriously and do not deal with their staff accordingly they lie and make stories up together to have their own backs.

Staff are brilliant, very helpful and friendly. Food was amazing, donner kebab with extra chicken and hot maple is a must.

Have been to Lingfield many times and the staff there are brilliant, they are a good laugh and always welcome us when we come in.

Ordered food and drink, Rude bar man, reason for this 1 star rant. Drink was orange cordial, to which served very weak and with ice ( i did not ask for ice ) So I kindly went back to the bar and asked if I could please have more orange in please as very weak, he rudly said that's about half pint orange now, and put 3 drops in If had that much orange in I would be asking for water as I don't like it strong. He was completely rude towards me Food was not the best but chap who brought it to our table was kind and polite .. I will not be recommending to anyone ( yes I work in hospitality and understand the importance of something so trivial escalate into this and the impact ) I would ask for a refund but his attitude from me kindly asking for a little juice has made me uncomfortable to approach. No other member of staff came to the table to ask if everything was OK nothing Feel like I have just been mugged of my ( £30+)

Very expensive but we do come back due to the staff. Very attentive and friendly. A place where everyone knows your name. Robb Lovell is the best barman marsdens have, he is an assest to the company and most friendly person you will ever meet, infact we are happy to call him a friend.

The 2 staff that where on shift when I arrived today where very accommodating as I came In with an elderly relative with some health issues they made our experience great they made my relative feel great she loved the fact the staff went above and beyond to help her and she can't wait to come back. The staff where called zak and raegon and I can't thank them enough

My partner and I visited Lingfield Farm for the first time on a weekday afternoon. The pub has its own car park and easily found a space. The outside was kept clean with beaches around the pub for people to sit outside, which they were as it was a nice sunny afternoon after all. Inside, the pub was busy with families dining in. We approached the bar and was met by a very friendly and helpful staff member who explained how to order food and that we could sit anywhere within the establishment. We found a quiet part of the pub where we ordered our food via the QR code on the menu. They brought over our cutlery, etc, but failed to ask or tell us where we could get sauces. We ordered two meals along with a diet Pepsi and a Guninnes. After a while, I wondered if they would bring our drinks with our food. This didn't happen. Food came, and I had to enquire about our beverages. We sat waiting with our food in front of us. The staff member came back asking again, "Are we sure we ordered drinks, and do I have my receipt. As I was pulling out my phone to search through the emails to show him proof of purchase, another voice yelled to say we did order drinks. Very embarrassing 😳 drinks were brought over via an apology, and we were left to eat what now were two cold chicken burgers and chips. Still, the food was nice, but it would be better if we could have eaten it when arrived without the fuss of providing evidence of purchasing drinks. The atmosphere was nice and we enjoyed the music playlist.

Its a good pub always busy Clean and the staff always helpful trying to offer a good service I go regularly for a meal and I know it's going to be good and no yobs there Shopping centre across the road with Tesco if you walk Hard to leave when your settled

Just popped in for dinner lunch with the Mrs and was surprised by how fast efficient and friendly the service was. Food was tasty and well described from the menu, clean and inviting environment, and lovely staff. Will be back again for more penalty with my little boy too as his swimming lessons are just over the road. Five stars were not enough, happy customer 😁

I booked a 2-course meal for my table tennis club. The food was great, the layout of the table was as requested, the serving staff were excellent. The food came quickly as I had pre-ordered the meal. We will come back for definite.

The food was delicious! The service was very fast and we came when it was very quiet. The waitress was very friendly and engaging. Over all it was a lovely experience

Service was friendly but slow and there was poor communication between the kitchen and front staff. On a staurday afternoon it almost an hour for food to arrive. After 5 minutes I was told my original choice was not available, not ideal but not a problem. After another 40 minutes of waiting I was then told the chef had cooked the wrong meal for me. When the food did eventually arrive, I had a grand total of 12 chips on my plate which seems like an incredibly stingy portion.

We had a family meal to remember our late Mum. The staff were very attentive. The food was amazing. The only thing we didn't all have were puddings as they are quite pricey and there was 11 of us. But apart from that, looking forward to coming back soon.

Me and my girlfriend came here for some food the food was very disappointing, very sweet and overpowering, however one positive to our evening was the waiter behind the bar with the glasses and beard, unfortunately I don’t know his name but he was very friendly and welcoming and he made our visit a one worth remembering. Keep it up. :)

March 2024, Rob and the rest of the crew are always accommodating when we visit and I might add it’s maybe once every few months but whenever we do visit he and the rest of the staff make us feel very welcome indeed, currently they have a 25% off promotion on and you can tell because it was packed at 5:30pm on a Thursday evening, well done everyone who work here a great asset to the pub and brewery.
