Ordered here over 50 times since it opened. We’ve noticed a massive drop in quality and delivery time over the past 6 months (I’m guessing due to the volume of orders). Had several cold orders. One order had half the food missing. They dropped it off an hour later and it was freezing. I’ve had them forget the chicken strips 3 times now and every time they say to refund and re order but you then have to pay the delivery and service charge again. They need to reduce the number of orders and get their quality back. I won’t be using it again for the foreseeable future.

Very poor service today. Craft burger have lied saying order is with uber driver, and the uber driver is sat at home. He is only now on his way to pick up the orders. Still haven't had my order delivered after nearly 2 hours! Craft burger have truly disappointed with their lack of service.

The food is lovely atmosphere is electric and the service is very nice Totally recommend

Food was average - ordered loaded fries with grilled chicken on top but it seemed someone was being stingey with the cheese sauce and the jalepenos. Dipped burger was average - would be nicer with caramelised onions rather than raw red onions. Overall average but considering the price is so high it would be poor. Service was fine, food was ready quickly.

Genuinely the worst burger I’ve ever had. So fatty and gritty. If your burgers are so greasy and slathered with the bottom of the grill that the bun can’t even hold them with any structural integrity then you really need to rethink your selling points. Burgers are rank, bun was just soggy and deteriorating 🤢 The cheesy fries had 0 cheese on them and was just a soggy disgusting cheap cheese flavoured sauce and didn’t even look like they’d been cooked so they just looked an anaemic orange mess. Down £30 just to order from McDonald’s anyway in the end instead. Disgusting! No refund yet either. Avoid here if you can and order from yum yum instead of you want a decent burger!

Phenomenally tasty burgers. Honestly never had a better burger or kebab in my life. A little pricy for a takeaway shop but the taste is definitely worth it!

Burgers are probably best in area, melt in your mouth smash patties are to die for! Had the cheeto burger, unreal and ordered from here another time before and got another burger and that was also lush.

One of the best take aways in town and for eating in, their burgers and fried donner is one of the best I've had, delicous food

Great food came with my 2 sons they loved the food too. Order Sharing is Caring with pepz and motz burgers and a grilled peri burger. Food was piping hot.. Burgers were awesome and so were the loaded fries. Will be back soon.

Nice clean restaurant/takeaway. Although absolutely freezing in the cold weather today, although new heaters have been added now. Friendly and helpful, the food was prepared relatively quick, were busy. My order was good, really enjoyed after a long day. I would have preferred a single chicken fillet in my burger instead of strips. Could do with turning the extractor fans on, the smokey fatty smell is quite over powering at times, definitely sticks to your clothes Great service and great meals

Went here for the first time. Got a share box, staff were really nice and friendly. Food was really nice and menu explained to us. Really good value for money, really enjoyed it. Got two choice of burgers, choice of loaded chips, doner and two drinks for £23

Whoever in the comments complained that the boss box was small is an absolute greedy bap. Massive, filling, tasty and worth every penny. How anybody can think that's a small portion?

Wouldn't bother ordering again, Shame because it used to be Spot on food , the last few times there's always been something missing like drinks or chips but we've let it go ,this time they sent the wrong burgers and no drink again, phoned ,to be told we had to pick a replacement up when we'd ordered for delivery, no thanks I'll pass,and remember to go elsewhere next time ,portions see getting really small aswel

Craft Burger is one of the best places to hang out with friends in Middlesbrough. They have mouth-watering burgers and other foods to fill the tummy. Tried a few times during the last couple of months and every time I got the satisfaction of a great meal.

So my boyfriend, my sister and I ordered from craft burger as we have ordered from there before and it was nice, however this time it was not, there was a STAPLE in my sisters burger which could’ve cut open her mouth if she didn’t spit it out, there were black hairs in all of our meals, at least 2/3 (we all have blonde hair so we’re certain it didn’t come from any of us) and not only that they overcharged me for cheese on my chips when I didn’t even order cheese on my chips nor did it come with cheese on my chips and when I’ve went to discuss it with someone demanding a refund for the terrible experience I’ve had they took days to even get back to me! Almost £40 I wasted on only three meals with such terrible service I would not recommend this to anyone!

Best burgers I’ve ever tasted and that pure grass fed Angus meat is top notch. The service is amazing and staff are friendly. If you enjoy a burger then this is definitely a must try! Easy 5 stars from me 👌

The service was 10/10, grilled burger was soo nice! Presentation on point 😍! We got the shared meal & the price we paid was well worth the amount the food we got, even had leftovers to take back with us!

Horrible food and service - ordered many times from here and was disappointed but overlooked but this time I can’t. The food took over an 45 minutes. Came in collected, brought back to the house and was very cold and granular. Cheesy chips are cold and sloppy, chicken was hard and wrap was even harder, it’s like having a fight with the food. not enjoyable at all especially the chicken burgers were cold as well. Never expected this with a place that charges a high price but there food Is low value and is not even adequate. This has happened before many times but I turned a blind eye but today took the mic.

Food arrived missing the garlic sauce, which is no big deal, the burgers were tasty but I was put off by a long hair found in my burger, then unbelievably I found another one, it doesn't matter what it taste's like, this is basic food hygiene & at nearly £40 for 2 burgers & a couple of side I did expect more, sadly I wont be ordering again.

A bit of a mixed review. Delicious food but very small portions. I ordered a takeaway on JustEat and got the Boss Box with the bacon stack burger, beef chili fries and gourmet Donner meat. I was actually disappointed when I opened it as it looked nothing at all like the images shown, the portion sizes for £15 were very small. I had used a discount code so didn't pay full price which made it better. However, the food was really delicious, cooked perfectly and I can't fault the quality, the kebab meat is amazing and so are the burgers. I have ordered since and will probably do so again but only when I have a discount code, as delicious as it is, the portion sizes are just not worth the price. The 1st 3 photos are from my 1st order.

2 inconsistent and 2 many dumb staff , such a shame as when it opened it was unreal some of the best Food in Teeside , but there all too dumb to ever make it work so AVOID at all costs

Waited over 20 minutes for loaded fried chick with skin on fries. Had hard house music blaring on a Tuesday evening. They weren't busy in shop and tables needed cleaning.

Got a variety of different burgers and some stir-fry donner and I’ve got to say it’s been such a long time since I’ve experienced such well prepared and tasty food. The naga burger was so juicy and bursting with flavours but the hero of the day was the stir-fry donner, it’s was on such another level that no one in Boro can even compare. The burger sauce was another winner (even the fries tasted class). Food was that nice that I had to hold back the urge to go and knock on the door at 6:00 am to get some more ….. thanks guys I’m gonna struggle to keep my weight down with this level of quality food

Absolutely incredible the best burger i have eaten ! 5 guys ain’t got nowt on this plate , sharing is caring platter was just amazing quality for money, the staff , the food and the atmosphere is super friendly.I can’t recommend this place enough trust me you will not regret it, i hope they get big enough for everyone to have a Craft Burger !!!

Do your self a favour and come try this place! I've tried all the well known burger spots Mr T's, Archies, Burgerlicious, Burger Drop, Loaded ect. Craft Burger is the best burger joint out of the bunch. Delicious caramelised Angus patties cooked to perfection. The quality is all in the meats. Thier cheesy loaded fired and beef chilli fried is elite too! And thier stir fry donner is head and shoulder above other donner places like German Donner Kebab. The place is clean and trendy, lovely vibe. And finally I have always found staff to be very welcoming and pleasant. So do your taste buds a favour and give this place a try you'll thank me later! X

Best burgers in Middlesbrough. Delicious patties cooked perfectly with caramelised edges and a wide variety of burgers to choose from. Try the shrooms burger it's unique. Staff are friendly and customer service is fantastic. Highly recommend.

The food is great, the wait is not. We ordered for pick up and were told via FoodHub to collect in 40m. It took another 40m at the restaurant until our order was ready. 😡 Craft Burger: Please ensure you put accurate pick up times with your systems, I doubt your dine-in guests were waiting this long to be fed. I understand it’s a Friday night but the waiting around put a massive downer on our experience.

Tried this place on opening and their organisation was shambolic , yesterday they put all the correct food etc in my take away order , far better . Restaurant itself is clean , good atmosphere, are staff were great when I was in . Downside sadly was the food , burger burnt to crisp on bottom , had to open burger and trim it off with knife ( messy ) . Chicken burger was also way over cooked and very hard to bit through . Chips , and kebab totally class saving the show , overall it's ok but standard of cooking not matching ingredients used.

I have been sitting back and watching the hype of Craft Burger for a while now so I finally decided to make my way to the Boro branch yesterday to give it a go. After trying all the smash burger joints in Newcastle from Burger Drop, Spice Hut to Loaded to others out of town such as Archies, Frankies to name a few. I can honestly say that Craft Burger hands down sits at the top of the pile for me. I ordered a Pepz n Mots, a Bacon Stack Burger as well as the Stir Fry Donner and the Beef Chilli Loaded Fries. Honestly the highlight was the quality of the meats from the Angus beef, Donner and beef chilli, as well as the flavours, juiciness, presentation and the service was amazing. I ‘m 100% converted to the Craft and I’m already looking forward to going back to maybe the South Shields branch next time to try the rest of the menu so if you haven’t already been, then you are deffo missing out! I also love the menu, the decor and design of the shop, the vibe, its new, fresh, trendy which is what was missing. Craft Burger have deffo shook up the smash burger scene in the north east!

Came from Newcastle for a burger with my brother. Got the sharing box which had two burgers, donner sizzler and loaded fries and two cans. Front staff member was friendly. Burger was probably the best burger I’ve had in a long time, especially in the north east. Loaded fries was lovely and the donner sizzler was very nice too. My experience was great, so I will definitely be coming back. The price for what I ate was reasonable compared to other places.

Overall 5 stars. For the price, you get a considerate amount of food. And quality food! Service is brilliant, seating is standard and atmosphere is relaxed.

I was going to go somewhere else but my son was recommended this place by a work colleague, so we went to check it out. The first impressions of the place it was nice and has a funky look with bright colours for the signage which I really liked. The food came out promptly and all of us decided to have a box meal where you get a burger of your choice. You can have a single, double or triple pattie on the burger 🍔 the more patties you have the price increases understandably. The meal came with loaded fries with a cheese whizz on them, you can opt for chicken on them instead. The meal also came with a side order of Doner kebab meat which was really tasty and not greasy at all and tasted like quality. We all had different burgers and their was no complaints and they were very nice burgers 🍔. The fries which were loaded were a nice touch and were also really good. I also had to ask the lady for a milkshake I had ordered as I think she had forgot to make it, I don’t know why this always happens 🙄. I would have rated this place 4.5 but you can’t give 1/2 ratings. The bathroom facilities require a overhaul which has let it down but otherwise a nice place.

Brody didn't even clock we were food critics, solid 8.5-9/10 flavoursome seasoned patty's for both beef and chicken high quality buns, fries were crispy and sublime, didn't know Gordon Ramsey made that sriracha and chipotle dip, customer service was smashing (burger) haha, boss man gave us a free sauce and even asked us if we wanted the heating on, atmosphere and design were mesmerising. Georgeoso Armani!!!

10 out of 10 food every time. I'm a regular customer and the food is always amazing! They do the best donner meat in town! The burgers are all delicious and the chicken wraps are fantastic and all food comes in great portions!

Food is nice enough but I’d never order for delivery ever again, 3rd time doing so on Sunday and 3rd time I got given the wrong delivery, even after specifically stating in the order notes my previous experiences.

Late review went 2 weekends ago. One word “Epic”. The team at Craft Burger have nailed it. They’ve taken five guys burgers but made them better with more options and much better value. We all went for “boss boxes”. I had the double cheese burger with chicken strips, loaded fries, stir fried Donner and a coke for £13. Mad value for money! Burgers melt in your mouth, full of flavour, the chicken was tender, the Donner was unreal best I’ve had with a lovely hint of mint. Great portions and quality. We sat in to eat, service was quiet, v clean and the guy at the desk was a pleasure super friendly and welcoming despite it being rammed. Keep an eye out, my prediction is in next 5 years we will see tons of new Craft Burger shops maybe even franchised 👀

Great food but waiting times, delivery times must improve to keep me coming back.

Staff didn't seem to know what they were selling. We got told the meals come with a portion of meat, we ordered 4 meals to go and when we got home there is no meat in any of them. We call back to see if there was a mistake only to be told the girl at the front desk made a mistake. I gave the review 2 stars instead of one because the guy on the phone did offer to correct it for us by delivering some portions of meat to us but we didnt take him up on this as the rest of the food would have been cold by then.

Food was fantastic. Absolutely loved the golden syrup glazed donner meat. However, when we ordered we used the website and it said that it was confirmed. We waited over an hour and then we rang to find out what was taking so long, then we realised that the website doesnt even do delivery and we had to order through the app. When we ordered we waited another hour and then when they delivered we realised that we had no milkshakes. We reported missing item anyway.

Really nice burger options. Kids loved them, too. It was really busy when we got there and the system was straining, but the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was worth it.
