Entrance and kitchens under refurb and some work was completed overnight. The work affected my stay in many ways. I complained twice to 2 different team members, I was firstly told there were no rooms to move to, then in a matter of hours was told I could be moved. There seems to be differences in the definition of what a good night sleep guarantee means.

Hotel going through a refurbishment, so reception was a bit of a building site. Room was OK though.

Avoid staying at this Premier Inn! The car park is plagued with break-ins on a weekly occurrence and when you try and report this issue, upper management fail to see this as something they should be trying to fix. When you look around the car park the place is littered with broken glass. You are much better off staying 10 mins down the road outside Middlesbrough where the surroundings are much nicer.

Stayed here for one night the room was ok just a standard room. Woke in the morning to find that my car and 7 others had been broken into with the windows being smashed. Whilst on the phone to the police I overheard a conversation between staff saying it happens weekly. If I would have known that I would have parked in the disabled bay right by the entrance. So just be aware.

Standard premier inn, rooms comfortable, nice and clean but location may be a problem if you don't want some scumbag breaking into your car in the morning.

Mostly just what you would expect from a premier inn, except, there was a fella sitting in the reception looking a bit sorry for himself. He started chatting about how he's had better days. Later, he was in the corridor asking guests for money as he had none and couldn't eat until Monday. Then again, later, he was just loitering about in reception, he clearly knew the receptionist and she was happy to just let him stay there. Bit weird!

For a Premier Inn it was a very tired place but the room was clean and comfortable. Toby Inn next door

All OK, checking in OK, parking remember to log your car, its Euro Car parks in control of the Car park and they'd ticket your Grannies mobility scooter if they could. Hotel service good, room good, good sized desk, breakfast good. Free wifi poor, had to pay for an upgrade. Be warned; do not rely on food after 9pm in the nearby Toby as there is non, which rather makes this hotel rather pointless for the business traveler or those arriving after 9pm and wish a sit down meal.

Bed very comfortable. Room clean and quiet. Breakfast onsite good. If you need the hospital the location, is perfect but a bit of a rough area and not near the city centre. Toby Carvery next door which is excellent.

I work locally to Chinos, which is where I won a £20 voucher in a raffle. I decided to order the meal deal of 3x12” pizzas for £18.99. The really friendly guy serving me also added a garlic bread and dips at no additional cost. All in all it was more than enough for my family of 5 (inc 3 teenage boys) and it was delicious! Much better than our local pizza shop where we live in Yarm. With this in mind we’ve decided as a family to switch to Chinos for our pizza despite it being a drive away. Definitely highly recommend 😋
