Amazing fish snd chips, the best I’ve eaten for a long time. Everything cooked to order, clean tables and a nice crowd of diners when we went.

Whilst Blackpool is an unbelievable dump of a ‘resort’ Lily’s Chippy is a gem amongst the detritus. As we were marooned there for a whole day we decided that fish and chips would be a cheerful meal and it was. Beautifully cooked and good quality ingredients. I rarely eat chippy food but this was absolutely outstanding. 👍 Well done Lil!

You definitely have to try the fish and chips from here. The fish is so good and you get loads of chips. The staff were all friendly. A bap was forgotten off the order but it wasn’t an issue getting one from the counter.

Decided to try here after seeing it recommended on another site, and certainly didn't regret it. We ate in and our food was cooked to order, batter on the fish was light and crisp. Portion size wasn't huge but was more than ample for lunch. Staff were friendly and restaurant was clean.

What a fabulous chippy (and I used to be a fryer myself). A brilliant chippy with the best chips and the best fish around. In addition a well run business too with all the staff knowing what their roles are. Well done.

Visited twice now and been really happy both times, the fish batter isn’t greasy and the fish itself is lovely, my daughter always has the homemade pie and demolished it both times!

On a day trip to Blackpool we were keen to get some nice fresh fish and chips for lunch before hitting the seaside entertainment. At Lillys we were not dissapointed. Great fresh white fish, batter perfectly crispy, chips a plenty and everything piping hot. Great you can see them cooking it all too. Waitress very polite too. Great price for even dining in. We stumbled upon Lily’s by chance whilst looking for something to eat and how pleased we were that the food Gods guided in Lily’s direction. The cod was excellent quality white fish freshly cooked in a delicious light, golden, crispy batter and accompanied by nice fresh chips, & peas. Everything was piping hot and the service was friendly and very good. Cheeky me asked if I could have a slice of lemon to take away for MrsB’s G&T. Well, it seems like nothing is a problem at Lily’s. Stopped here for lunch today and it’s by far the best fish and chips in the area. The cod & chips were fresh & hot, really tasty and for a very good price!! The restaurant is clean and modern & staff were very friendly I don’t live in Blackpool but I’m looking forward to returning.

When we arrived, there was no-one else in. But we were followed by another couple and a family group of about 12, who ordered before us (we weren't hurrying). Despite this, we got our meals within a short time: piping hot, beautifully cooked cod, good chips and my curry sauce was yummy. By the time left, it was really busy and given the price and quality we could understand why.

Just wanted some nice chips for the family, not much to say really other than tasteless, soft, rubbery, small portions, expensive….. I should have read the signs… not a seagull in sight ready to swoop down and steal my chips! I’m quite glad I opted not to eat as there is a high chance I’d be on the toilet for the remainder of the day. If you want nice food avoid, if you want to lose a few stone then go for it.

Smashing fish chips and mushy peas which was gluten free. Also dog friendly and so really pleased with the options here.

Gorgeous fish and chips, with the best chip shop gravy I’ve had. Fish, battered sausage and scampi all very much enjoyed. Husband pleased with the fact they sold scraps. Never seen someone take so much care over wrapping the chips either! Would definitely go back again if in the area! They have seats too but it was busy when we visited so we took the chips away.

Blackpool's not great for food but there's a few places that are decent, this is one of them. Clean, decent food, nice friendly staff. We will return.

So I am involved in a little volunteer group We do events for our elderly community many who are affected by altzimers or dementia On Saturday we had a minibus take 16 of us to Blackpool . I called Lilly’s in the week to ask if they could accommodate us on Saturday eve. I explained most of our guests were unable to stand for a long time They said yes just call us when your 30 mins away I duly did this When we arrived there were people queuing out of the door and the restaurant was packed We spoke to the lovely man at the counter he showed us where he had reserved 3 tables as people were just finishing By the time we got everyone off the bus and inside the tables had been cleaned and cleared The food was Beautiful all 16 of us were serve within 20 mins They we’re still manic with takeout orders There was a member of staff constantly checking the toilets All the young staff were brilliant The manager was lovely and the guy at the counter getting out all the orders Wow just wow the experience was enjoyed by everyone A huge thank you to all involved Unfortunately cannot say the same for the illuminations What happened Blackpool the lights were so sparse and a huge disappointment. We have been to lily's several times and the large fish and chips are second to none. This time we decided to try the home made steak pie. It was absolutely packed with steak and delicious. Every time we visit the girls who serve are very friendly and are always happy to help. We look forward to seeing you next time we visit Blackpool.

One of the best fish and chip restaurants in Blackpool. First class friendly service. Food cooked fresh to order. Same queue to pay sit in or carry out then after ordering by number on till receipt for take away or waitress service to table .Prices are the same for sit in or take away. Quick service by friendly staff. Good food and fare sized portions for the price.

Had a takeaway tonight, fish and chips for 2. Plaice was beautifully cooked as usual and humongous for the price. Cod was also delicious and the chips nicely golden. This is without doubt the best chippy in Blackpool and we never go anywhere else these days. Highly recommended.

We’ve been to Blackpool lots of times, consistently good chippy’s are harder to find than you’d think given how many there are. We have tried loads of em, including The Yorkshire Fisheries which I believe bag the No. 1 slot unfortunately they didn’t cook the fish right and ended up refunding our meal so never again for that chippy. Now for Lily’s, we’ve eaten here over a number of years and can honestly say they would be my number 1. They are in my opinion a consistently good chippy and I’ve never had a bad experience here. If I had to pick one thing it would be the chips and batter could do with a bit more colour on it, it’s slightly too pale. I prefer my chips and batter a bit more golden. That said, it’s always nice and crunchy. Worth mentioning their prices are good value when compared to others. They must be pretty good as this is my first review on TA.
