Library, Ingatestone in Brentwood

Really weird little place it was empty when we got there, but a few people entered shortly after. The music is basically the barstaff searching for links on youtube, not the norm. But i would like to return to this place in the future and will definitely update my review if i do. Has the potential to be a good little hideout but needs a rejig, and a bit more atmosphere. Cosy layout, though. They wasnt serving food, so I didn't have any, I'm afraid.

Great customer service! I had a great experience with all the food and drinks that we ordered at the Library. One of the items on the menu is a very creative twist on a popular African dish - Jollof Rice and suya. It is a beautiful place to dine and hang out with lovely deco, too.

Owner very pleasant, however sent all staters back as cold, mains very good, no deserts or coffees and then asked to sit at bar as needed table. Felt rushed a bit and wanted to squeeze in as many covers as possible. Left feeling a bit ripped off at £170. Wife said that there was No toilet paper in ladies and rubbish basket full. Disappointed

Had my daughters 23rd birthday there last night. Lovely food from the set menu and they even changed a couple of items on the menu so that my daughter could have a starter that she would enjoy. Staff and management offer a highly regarded level of customer care and attention. Good later vibe for drinks after too. Highly recommended!

The best roast dinner I've ever had. Beef out of this world, beautiful veg and truffle gravy to die for! Can't wait to try the rest of their menu.
