Set menu is good quality food and reasonable price. Ala carte prices are high but I haven't tried that menu so can't comment on that. Staff are very attentive

Lovely lunch at Felix Warley today . Food was as always delicious along and great service. I should make special mention to India who served us today. She was very attentive and took time to help us choose from the menu as everything sounded so good.

Have just gotten back from Sunday lunch at felix Warley. It's our wedding anniversary today and myself and husband were made to feel so special. We had the most amazing, rost lunch the beef was mouth watering. Our waitress who was called India was so attentive, and even brought us both ice cream out with a candle in, to wish us both happy anniversary very sweet. Thankyou so much for a wonderful afternoon. Love this restaurant, such a great vibe and fantastic food.

I’ve lived in Brentwood for 30 years and saw this place being built and I’ve only just got around to going. Why???? The food and service were absolutely excellent and the whole place genuinely exceeded my expectations. Living in this area, we’re too used to blingy, “style over substance” establishments with shiny decor, average food and overpriced Prosecco and lager. Felix is thankfully different. Whilst the food is expensive, it’s of impeccable quality. The service is top notch. The wine and beer choice is broad and very fairly priced. And the decor is quiet and calm, with really good acoustics - you can hear each other talk very easily. We’ll be back again very soon.

Black girl review - I love this restaurant so much. Their lunch deal is amazing and so is the dinner. The waiters are always so friendly. You are greeted with a smile. I can't fault anything. Food - great. Service - great ambience - great. I hope it stays this way.

Had a meal to celebrate my 60th birthday. Could not fault it. Food was amazing and the ambience was perfect. We were seated at the one of the indoor pods that made it even more special. Special mention to our waitress Jessie. She was very pleasant and informative. Her knowledge of the menu, which had amazing choices, was impressive and answered our questions about it comprehensively. All members of my party thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Would definitely recommend Felix and look forward to returning. ☺

Booked a table for New Years Eve for a date night out. Food was just okay for the amount of money. Started with cocktails, bread, and olives. Bread was just fabulous! Soft shell crab and smoked salmon for starters, which were decent. Soft shell crab didn't have any crab. Whiskey sour was probably the worst I'd ever had. I complained about it to my waitress and was still charged. My partner got the surf and turf with the lobster. Lobster came with literally 3 pieces in the shell! Crazy because the dish was £60. I got the monkfish and scallops, which were delicious. I understand it was a busy night, but the waitress was nowhere to be found half the night. I spent 2 hours trying to get anything ordered when she was just standing around chatting. Actually wanted to stay for dessert but we had already spent 2 hours at the restaurant. We did get espressos at the end of the night, and the lady who brought them was super annoyed when we asked for milk. I replied, "Thank you" when she brought the item, she then just gave us a dirty look and walked away. Won't be back.

Wonderful deco, ambience & service! As it was a Sunday went for the roast & OMG! Although pricey it was magnificent! Roast beef melted in your mouth, peas, carrots, cabbage, cauliflower cheese, Roast potatoes & gravy! We simply couldn't eat it all. Yummy!

Severn elderly retired work colleagues met up for a lunch time reunion. Starting with a negative - the booking system is unfriendly and having paid a deposit I kept getting booking confirmations which then requested a deposit. There is no secure online process to pay a deposit. And when you get a booking you get told when you have to vacate the table by. Surely that's to some extent down to the restaurant and the service. That aside everything on the day was excellent. We had the lunch set menu. Everything advertised the on the internet was on the menu, with a wide choice of fish dishes. All the food was good with decent sized portions. With £25 for a main course which could for example include halibut, plus an additional £ 5 for starters and or deserts, we thought fair value. The venue is lovely, our round table perfect for 7; but the highlight was the outstanding service. Our server really looked after us , helped and advised us when she thought she should. She was well supported by others in the team. Overall we were so pleased with the whole experience and despite the difficulties of the booking and deposit system we plan to be back in about 4 months.

First visit and very impressed, from the ample parking to having coats collected on entry and the food/service Felix sets a high standard from the off. We had the set lunch which offers a good selection of starters, mains and desserts, something for most tastes, including vegetarians. All the food was excellent, beautifully presented, whilst the service was attentive, but not obtrusive. Will certainly return if I have the opportunity.

We went to Felix Warley for a birthday celebration lunch. Our experience was one we could not fault, from the way we were greeted to the service and food it was excellent. We would like to thank Jessie for being an amazing host at our table so attentive, knowledgeable and pleasant throughout our visit.

Beautiful setting but sadly the service wasn’t so good. We were shown to our table and ordered breads and water while we perused the menu. They never arrived. Our waiter chased them up when we advised him we’d not received them. Again, no water or breads. By now we’d eaten our starter. We mentioned it to the waiter once again and he simply told us that he’d asked the kitchen twice but for some reason it hadn’t arrived. In the meantime the tables around us were getting water, breads and olives. Pretty poor considering it’s a high end restaurant. Food was nice but personally we prefer the food and especially the service at Smiths Ongar.

I have been here a few times and generally I am impressed with everything. Our last visit wasn’t brilliant but the food didn’t let us down.

Upon arrival I ordered 2 bottles of Heineken. As was drinking the 2nd bottle I realised they gave me alcohol free lager which wasn’t what I wanted. Then I ordered 2 peronis and the 2 waiters still couldn’t decide if I wanted lager with alcohol in. Eventually all arrived ok. There were 4 of us at the restaurant. The bill came to nearly £700. And this was a Wednesday evening. And we didn’t have access to the set menus as they finished at 6:45. Our table was booked for 7pm. They charged £3.50 for 5 slices of bread and they charged me £9 for the 2 wrong bottles of Heineken. At alec’s and smith’s you have free bread, wouldn’t get charged for the Heineken’s and have access to the set menu all night and get bigger portions. We had to constantly ask for the wine to be topped up too. We had a nice evening but the cost was absolutely eye watering for what we had.

Enjoyed a fabulous lunch with friends. The service was excellent, staff were friendly and offered advice on what to choose. We chose from a set lunch menu which was absolutely delicious and great value for money. We all throughly enjoyed the meal and will return soon!

Had a wonderful evening here last night. The food as always was exceptional and we were lucky enough to be looked after by a very efficient and friendly young man called Michael. When the wine needed topping up he was there and he was also happy to offer advice on our menu choices. He’s a credit to this restaurant and deserves all the tips he gets! Our friends were impressed and we will definitely be back soon!

Went there for a special birthday with my family, what a treat, I couldn’t fault one single thing, staff were impeccable, food delicious, cocktails to die for, by far the best dining experience I have had in a long time and amazing value for money, I would definitely recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to go there again.

If you have a 5.30 booking don't turn up early because they will leave you in the car park until time. We were dropped off by the taxi at 5.20 and had a chilly 10 minute wait.

We visited Felix for a Ruby wedding celebration with lots of family members. Everything about this place was stunning. The food was fantastic. Fish cooked just so. Oysters were delicious, Mussels plump, with a beautiful sauce. Halibut was cooked to perfection. Service was so professional. Attentive but not intrusive, the serving team were on it all night. Andra, our main waitress, deserves a special mention. Her attention to detail, her social skills and her memory were brilliant. If I didn't live so far away, I'd be here all the time. This was our first visit to Felix, Warley. We both ordered from the set menu that is available till 7 or 7:30. The fish soup came with muscles in it and was hot and tasty , as was the scallops and bacon. The main meal of Salmon and new potatoes was a generous portion. The Haddock was perfectly cooked.

We went here for our anniversary dinner, it was our first visit. The restaurant looked amazing. although we didn’t get chance to have a drink in the bar before dinner, this was very big and had lovely decor so when I go back, I would definitely get there a bit earlier to go and have a pre dinner drink. The service was ok- to be honest, the waiter that mainly served us was a bit scatty. He asked for our order whilst getting his pad out and then had to ask again as he had forgotten. He also came back a couple of times to double check our orders as he had forgotten but he was so pleasant and friendly, we didn’t mind. The menu had so many lovely options it was difficult to decide. The food did not disappoint. My husband and I like Alec’s and Smiths, but for us, the food at Felix was better. I had tiger prawns to start and they were so big and tasty. My husbands steak for main was a very big cut and was cooked perfectly. We couldn’t fault the food. All in all, a very nice evening and we will 100% return.

This restaurant is excellent in every way. It's only matched by the best of the West End hotels/restaurants and other mouth-watering food, professional service, wine-knowledgeable waiter, lovely ambiance, and great value lunch. The fish soup ( a great version of bouillabaisse) is only matched by good French restaurants) . My only gripe is that they refused any credit for some unused in a voucher. I therefore can't recommend you buy one of these.

This is my Dad's favourite restaurant and devastatingly due to cancer he is now barely able to eat at all, but all he could talk about was Felix's amazing soup! Getting him to want to eat something is a struggle so I had to go and see if I could order some to take out for him, and I was just blown away by the incredible kindness of the staff today (24th Sept). I wish I had got their names but there was a beautiful girl on the front desk and I believe the wonderful lady who more than looked after me was the Manager. Even one of the waiters wished my Dad well! I have never experienced such compassion and generosity before and was just moved to tears 🙏 My Dad was eager to have some soup straight away and said to tell them it was delicious. It was wonderful seeing him enjoy something he loved. I'm so grateful, I will definitely be coming to dine myself very soon. Thank you so much 💖 Emma x

I visited as a surprise for my birthday with 14 of my family. From the moment I arrived to the moment left it was just perfect. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and the restaurant is simply stunning. The staff were just fantastic and so on the ball. We were constantly topped up and being checked on. The drinks were beautiful and the food was also absolutely delicious. We had the perfect afternoon and cannot wait to go back.
