Great food, excellent services and easy on-site parking. We had the early dinner menu and it worths the money. Highly recommended.

Chaotic. Excessively loud waiter getting order wrong - repeatedly. Children with feet on seats. Took a long time to get anybody's attention for drinks. No, thank you.

Went as a party of 5 for a birthday celebration lunch. Staff very attentive and service was excellent. Tried several starter dishes- tempura prawns and dumplings were great. All our main courses were really good too. The roast dinner was huge,but did not detract from the quality and cooking of the beef and all the accompaniment's, which tasted beautiful.

We have been here a few times before so we knew it would be good. It didn’t disappoint. I asked for a round table for 8 at the back of the restaurant and that is exactly what we got.

It was the second time I have been to the Felix and my friend often goes as she is quite local. Unfortunately we both may no longer visit this restaurant due to an inconsistent dinning experience. First and foremost the food was great, maybe a little expensive but when it is good then that’s ok. Our waitress was fantastic, extremely attentive and always very polite. The problem lay with the waiter who served the table beside us. He was very brash and we were constantly interrupted by him loudly pronouncing things to the family seated there. He would also position himself to speak to them so his rear end was in our face. Not something you need to look at when trying to enjoy your meal. Which would have been forgivable if it was once or twice but he seemed to hover over them as I think he got their order wrong so was over compensating. This meant every five minutes would either be loudly interrupted or have his buttocks in our face. My friend did try to reproach this with our waitress but I think she thought we were objecting to something else. To top it all off as we were leaving the two greeters at the door completely ignored us like we hadn't just dropped a fairly decent amount of money in the till. It is a shame as the place is lovely and the food is spot on, but when you have a Nando’s waiter it lets it right down.

Good reception upon arrival. Service good. Excellent champagne by the glass. Starter of scallops was very good as was my husbands tempura prawns. Downside was main of halibut with tomato salsa rather bland. The advertised samphire and lemon oil were missing (not advised in advance and was partly why I chose) so asked for lemon wedge and tartare. Latter rather gelatinous, not homemade as their competitors or as I would. Veg as expected. Our friends enjoyed their mains as they like plain food.

Second time we visited. Last year it wasn’t that great however we have heard good things so gave a second shot. Was pleasantly supprised, food was really good. I don’t eat fish myself but not much on the menu for starters that is t fish so I tried the scallops I didn’t like them however my wife said they were lovely and perfectly cooked. I had the steak fillets for mains and was really good and all the sides and deserts were amazing. Would visit again.

Went with friends for dinner, my wife and I haven't been to Felix since following lockdown and to be honest it wasn't a great experience totally down to all the many government imposed restrictions though. However, our friends visited for lunch recently, were very impressed and as such suggested we all went for dinner. It is a huge restaurant, not intimate at all but the staff did their best to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Food was excellent as was the champagne and wines we decided upon. Service was good as well and the whole evening was really great. Will certainly return. One small negative, we went on a Friday evening and the bar upstairs wasn't open or manned. Apparently it wasn't busy enough to open it, but if you are like us and like to have a cocktail or two before dinner rather than at the table, it was a bit disappointing. However, true to form the staff did their best to accommodate us, showed us upstairs to the bar and sent someone up to look after us, which he did very well. Unfortunately no atmosphere as we were the only customers up there but it did turn out to be a very pleasant start to the evening, thank you.

I was taken to Felix to celebrate my birthday. What a brilliant experience. The staff so attentive, the food absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to go back so I have booked for my daughter’s birthday. I can thoroughly recommend Felix.

Food is incredible - the roast I had was lovely! Unfortunately I just felt like the service wasn’t great, we kept getting pushed to order (every 5-10 min) and then at the end when organising the bill was interrupted twice to mention it didn’t include service charge despite me advising I would be adding on service charge, just made me feel a bit uncomfortable

First visit to The Felix, and was very pleased, friendly service and very good food, primarily seafood, which I love, but there is Good for all. My Tiger prawn starter was very good and my main was very good as well. Service was attentive but not fussy, all the staff was polite and all in uniform, well done all. Good selection of drinks even non-alcoholic,

Whilst the food and service are very good at Felix I really think the staff could take a minute and thank the diners for their tip. My receipt and credit card were thrust back at me after paying as if I was a nuisance!! Manners cost nothing

The perfect place for a special occasion. The food is amazing. My beef fillet was cooked to perfection. The staff is courteous but very friendly and we felt right at home. The location is very nice and secluded, and the restaurant interior is very fancy and posh. Perfect evening with the missus.

Me and the family had a lovely meal. The service was brilliant and we were served by Connor who was very attentive and helpful. We had a laugh with him and were very impressed. We will definitely be back soon.

Awful service, wouldn't go back. After making complaint, got awful response from manager - not even a modicum of an apology. Overly priced for quality received, would not recommend to anyone - don't go if you want a special night out.

Really enjoyable evening with amazing food and drinks. All staff were very friendly and on point (including India in the bar upstairs) Cocktails were amazing. Vibrant atmosphere when we were there too. Definitely going back.

My 1st visit to this stunning restaurant for my birthday. Can't recommend this upmarket plush restaurant enough. The food was beautiful, and the staff was both professional, friendly, and attentive. This place is stunning... foods great, but I had the Sunday roast, and it was a mistake. Firstly, it's so big you don't know where to start, and the plates are so small that it makes the pile of food difficult to navigate... now lots of food is good. I'm not complaining about that, BUT it was a huge pile of bland bland and more bland!! It's such a shame. Should have stuck to what they are good at. My advice to the restaurant. Less is more when things taste good!!

Have just gotten back from Sunday lunch at felix Warley. It's our wedding anniversary today and myself and husband were made to feel so special. We had the most amazing, rost lunch the beef was mouth watering. Our waitress who was called India was so attentive, and even brought us both ice cream out with a candle in, to wish us both happy anniversary very sweet. Thankyou so much for a wonderful afternoon. Have been going to this restaurant for a while and always enjoyed it. But the last visit the food & service was far from its normal high standard.

Love this restaurant, such a great vibe and fantastic food.

I’ve lived in Brentwood for 30 years and saw this place being built and I’ve only just got around to going. Why???? The food and service were absolutely excellent and the whole place genuinely exceeded my expectations. Living in this area, we’re too used to blingy, “style over substance” establishments with shiny decor, average food and overpriced Prosecco and lager. Felix is thankfully different. Whilst the food is expensive, it’s of impeccable quality. The service is top notch. The wine and beer choice is broad and very fairly priced. And the decor is quiet and calm, with really good acoustics - you can hear each other talk very easily. We’ll be back again very soon.

Black girl review - I love this restaurant so much. Their lunch deal is amazing and so is the dinner. The waiters are always so friendly. You are greeted with a smile. I can't fault anything. Food - great. Service - great ambience - great. I hope it stays this way.

Been twice before for set menu ..lunch / early dinner The Set price menu reasonable for price Tonight a la Carte…a La Overpriced!! Not even a bread roll to start A pathetic glass of chlorinated tap water served to start with .lthat was your lot! Friendly service but had to get up and serve wine to my own guests ..poor..albeit staff friendly not sure the service charge reasonable Fresh delivered fish? Certainly not… the crab / prawn starter = lacking taste and obviously pre frozen Main course - pork belly/ scallop..tasty but very overpriced Dauphinoise potatoes = undercooked or just al dente?? Steak rare? No medium ..should be right for price! Skate ..overcooked Tarte tatin tasty but pastry chewy OK …If this was your local ‘Harvester’ ..yes a good meal But at Felix prices clearly paying for the glitzy Towie setting rather than the quality of the cuisine Value for money = one star 🌟 is generous !,

Had a meal to celebrate my 60th birthday. Could not fault it. Food was amazing and the ambience was perfect. We were seated at the one of the indoor pods that made it even more special. Special mention to our waitress Jessie. She was very pleasant and informative. Her knowledge of the menu, which had amazing choices, was impressive and answered our questions about it comprehensively. All members of my party thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Would definitely recommend Felix and look forward to returning. ☺

Booked a table for New Years Eve for a date night out. Food was just okay for the amount of money. Started with cocktails, bread, and olives. Bread was just fabulous! Soft shell crab and smoked salmon for starters, which were decent. Soft shell crab didn't have any crab. Whiskey sour was probably the worst I'd ever had. I complained about it to my waitress and was still charged. My partner got the surf and turf with the lobster. Lobster came with literally 3 pieces in the shell! Crazy because the dish was £60. I got the monkfish and scallops, which were delicious. I understand it was a busy night, but the waitress was nowhere to be found half the night. I spent 2 hours trying to get anything ordered when she was just standing around chatting. Actually wanted to stay for dessert but we had already spent 2 hours at the restaurant. We did get espressos at the end of the night, and the lady who brought them was super annoyed when we asked for milk. I replied, "Thank you" when she brought the item, she then just gave us a dirty look and walked away. Won't be back.

Wonderful deco, ambience & service! As it was a Sunday went for the roast & OMG! Although pricey it was magnificent! Roast beef melted in your mouth, peas, carrots, cabbage, cauliflower cheese, Roast potatoes & gravy! We simply couldn't eat it all. Yummy!

Severn elderly retired work colleagues met up for a lunch time reunion. Starting with a negative - the booking system is unfriendly and having paid a deposit I kept getting booking confirmations which then requested a deposit. There is no secure online process to pay a deposit. And when you get a booking you get told when you have to vacate the table by. Surely that's to some extent down to the restaurant and the service. That aside everything on the day was excellent. We had the lunch set menu. Everything advertised the on the internet was on the menu, with a wide choice of fish dishes. All the food was good with decent sized portions. With £25 for a main course which could for example include halibut, plus an additional £ 5 for starters and or deserts, we thought fair value. The venue is lovely, our round table perfect for 7; but the highlight was the outstanding service. Our server really looked after us , helped and advised us when she thought she should. She was well supported by others in the team. Overall we were so pleased with the whole experience and despite the difficulties of the booking and deposit system we plan to be back in about 4 months.

First visit and very impressed, from the ample parking to having coats collected on entry and the food/service Felix sets a high standard from the off. We had the set lunch which offers a good selection of starters, mains and desserts, something for most tastes, including vegetarians. All the food was excellent, beautifully presented, whilst the service was attentive, but not obtrusive. Will certainly return if I have the opportunity.

We went to Felix Warley for a birthday celebration lunch. Our experience was one we could not fault, from the way we were greeted to the service and food it was excellent. We would like to thank Jessie for being an amazing host at our table so attentive, knowledgeable and pleasant throughout our visit.

Beautiful setting but sadly the service wasn’t so good. We were shown to our table and ordered breads and water while we perused the menu. They never arrived. Our waiter chased them up when we advised him we’d not received them. Again, no water or breads. By now we’d eaten our starter. We mentioned it to the waiter once again and he simply told us that he’d asked the kitchen twice but for some reason it hadn’t arrived. In the meantime the tables around us were getting water, breads and olives. Pretty poor considering it’s a high end restaurant. Food was nice but personally we prefer the food and especially the service at Smiths Ongar.

Very upmarket looking restaurant with intimate lighting and very attentive staff. Fish was lightly seasoned, we had the Cod and Salmon with great chips and mushrooms. Starting with Fish Soup with Mussels inside, and Scallops

Enjoyed a fabulous lunch with friends. The service was excellent, staff were friendly and offered advice on what to choose. We chose from a set lunch menu which was absolutely delicious and great value for money. We all throughly enjoyed the meal and will return soon!

Upon arrival I ordered 2 bottles of Heineken. As was drinking the 2nd bottle I realised they gave me alcohol free lager which wasn’t what I wanted. Then I ordered 2 peronis and the 2 waiters still couldn’t decide if I wanted lager with alcohol in. Eventually all arrived ok. There were 4 of us at the restaurant. The bill came to nearly £700. And this was a Wednesday evening. And we didn’t have access to the set menus as they finished at 6:45. Our table was booked for 7pm. They charged £3.50 for 5 slices of bread and they charged me £9 for the 2 wrong bottles of Heineken. At alec’s and smith’s you have free bread, wouldn’t get charged for the Heineken’s and have access to the set menu all night and get bigger portions. We had to constantly ask for the wine to be topped up too. We had a nice evening but the cost was absolutely eye watering for what we had.

Had a wonderful evening here last night. The food as always was exceptional and we were lucky enough to be looked after by a very efficient and friendly young man called Michael. When the wine needed topping up he was there and he was also happy to offer advice on our menu choices. He’s a credit to this restaurant and deserves all the tips he gets! Our friends were impressed and we will definitely be back soon!

Went yesterday for Saturday lunch. Very nice first time visit for me. Wonderful choice of dishes on the lunch menu. Had scallops with apple and Balsamic salad followed by Skate with brown butter and capers with herby potatoes, Jam sponge for desert but the Eton mess looked Devine. Sorry no photos. Definately worth a visit.
