Amazing place for Lunch but Sunday Lunch Roast is the best

Went for a birthday lunch, amazing food, great service so 10/10 from us, thank you 😊

My family and I visited Felix Restaurant in Warley tonight to celebrate my mother’s birthday, and we were absolutely blown away by the entire experience! From the warm welcome to the impeccable service, every detail was handled with care, making it a night we’ll never forget. A heartfelt THANK You to Elena and the entire team for creating such a memorable evening. Your attention to detail, genuine warmth, and professionalism made us feel truly special. And to Stephen, your kind gesture was the cherry on top of an already perfect night. Thank you very much, that's very kind of you. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Every dish was beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and crafted with obvious passion. From starters to desserts, we savored every bite, and the menu offered something delightful for everyone at the table. Paired with the cozy yet elegant ambiance, it was the ideal setting for a family celebration. Thank you again to the entire Felix Restaurant team for making my mother’s birthday so magical. We left with full hearts (and full stomachs!). If you’re looking for outstanding food, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to be.

I had to review this wonderful restaurant again. Felix Warley never disappoints. It has a slick and luxurious ambiance, and a lively atmosphere. We came to celebrate a special (80th) birthday, which was immediately acknowledged by the receptionist when we arrived. We were shown to one of the booths and they said they had allocated it to us especially for our occasion. The service was impeccable with friendly, unobtrusive staff. Food was absolutely delicious. They also brought out a cupcake with a candle for the birthday boy and joined in singing 'happy birthday'. I love this place, and so glad it is local to me. We will be back!

What can I say it’s very much a top end restaurant food was lovely I had salmon starter which was great we chose from the lite evening menu , £38 3 courses if I recall - staff were polite but the place was quite chaotic really , very very busy we had no waiting staff allocated to us - staff were buzzing around , (would say tho I’m sure during quieter times it can provide a lovely relaxing meal ) would prob ret for a lunch

Went yesterday for my birthday lunch. The food was lovely, good portions and very tasty and well cooked. The staff were very pleasant. Will definately be going back. Highly recommended. My new favourite restaurant.

My husband and I visited this restaurant for dinner for a pre-valentine dinner. The food and service were impeccable. We had a really relaxing evening and were happy to see such a great, mouth watering menu. Somebody has clearly thought the menu out not just your bog standard fish n steak options. I had the crispy duck pancakes which were just the best and very generous portions. Probably enough for two but I was happy not to have to share as they were delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very good with a great relaxed ambiance and decor. The staff are friendly and polite and clearly happy to please. Will definitely be going back to try all the mouthwatering options on the menu.

First time visiting for my Son In Laws birthday. Went on a Sunday so no set menus, fixed prices etc. Food was lovely, actually exceptional. Was a bit expensive though. I will definitely go back but will try their set 2 course/3 course menus. Buy don't regret going as it was lovely and nice to treat ourselves now & then.

Beautiful restaurant in a beautiful setting! Food was perfectly presented with lots of attention to detail! The staff are relatively young, but very well trained, softly spoken, and very friendly and attentive! The service was excellent! The restaurant was full, which takes some doing in mid January, but this restaurant clearly stands out from the others ! This one of our favourite restaurants and we are never disappointed! Came here for my birthday tonight. Food was okay my server was lovely. The man who I assume was manager for the evening wasn’t very professional overheard him bad mouthing the young servers there and heard him talking to a young girl working there telling her off leaving her looking rather upset. Was very shocked by this.

Came for a lunch for my partner’s birthday. We had the set lunch menu, as I had been the week previously for my mum’s birthday & the food & service were both great. However today the food was really disappointing. The tempura prawns were greasy, the steak medallions were over cooked and the French fries were undercooked. We didn’t say anything at the time as it was was busy, and we didn’t want to make a fuss. Definitely not as good an experience as when I’ve been previously.

It's always good to visit a place twice for a balanced view. The service is great, as it was last time. It was disappointing the menu had run out of my first choice preference. Second choice was OK. Main course portions are large. You have to add side dishes in addition to main menu, which really does hike up the bill. A shame the sides are not incorporated to the mains. The only thing that is missing is that wow factor. It was disappointing the New Zealand Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc was the SAME vintage as that of the previous year (2023). It was noticeable and the wine had lost a lot of its freshness in that one year of separation. Service is included at 10%. £220 (ish) for 2 for 3 course meal and bottle of wine.

It's always good to visit twice to get a good balance on what to expect. Food is good. Service is excellent. A bit pricey and just missing the wow factor to justify it. Service is included in the final bill at 10%.

Probably one of the best restaurants in the area , the food is superb the ambiance is great the bar upstairs is stunning so a must visit .

Good food, nice surroundings. Decent size portions and fairly well executed. Service is ok, not slow by any means, but needs some improvement. Overall good value and will return.

Went for lunch with friends. Incredible value lunch set menu (£30 for 2 courses, £35 for 3 courses) for high quality food and luxurious ambiance. I have never been disappointed by the food or service in this restaurant and will be going back again soon.

Went as a party of 5 for a birthday celebration lunch. Staff very attentive and service was excellent. Tried several starter dishes- tempura prawns and dumplings were great. All our main courses were really good too. The roast dinner was huge,but did not detract from the quality and cooking of the beef and all the accompaniment's, which tasted beautiful.

We have been here a few times before so we knew it would be good. It didn’t disappoint. I asked for a round table for 8 at the back of the restaurant and that is exactly what we got.

It was the second time I have been to the Felix and my friend often goes as she is quite local. Unfortunately we both may no longer visit this restaurant due to an inconsistent dinning experience. First and foremost the food was great, maybe a little expensive but when it is good then that’s ok. Our waitress was fantastic, extremely attentive and always very polite. The problem lay with the waiter who served the table beside us. He was very brash and we were constantly interrupted by him loudly pronouncing things to the family seated there. He would also position himself to speak to them so his rear end was in our face. Not something you need to look at when trying to enjoy your meal. Which would have been forgivable if it was once or twice but he seemed to hover over them as I think he got their order wrong so was over compensating. This meant every five minutes would either be loudly interrupted or have his buttocks in our face. My friend did try to reproach this with our waitress but I think she thought we were objecting to something else. To top it all off as we were leaving the two greeters at the door completely ignored us like we hadn't just dropped a fairly decent amount of money in the till. It is a shame as the place is lovely and the food is spot on, but when you have a Nando’s waiter it lets it right down.

Good reception upon arrival. Service good. Excellent champagne by the glass. Starter of scallops was very good as was my husbands tempura prawns. Downside was main of halibut with tomato salsa rather bland. The advertised samphire and lemon oil were missing (not advised in advance and was partly why I chose) so asked for lemon wedge and tartare. Latter rather gelatinous, not homemade as their competitors or as I would. Veg as expected. Our friends enjoyed their mains as they like plain food.

Second time we visited. Last year it wasn’t that great however we have heard good things so gave a second shot. Was pleasantly supprised, food was really good. I don’t eat fish myself but not much on the menu for starters that is t fish so I tried the scallops I didn’t like them however my wife said they were lovely and perfectly cooked. I had the steak fillets for mains and was really good and all the sides and deserts were amazing. Would visit again.

Went with friends for dinner, my wife and I haven't been to Felix since following lockdown and to be honest it wasn't a great experience totally down to all the many government imposed restrictions though. However, our friends visited for lunch recently, were very impressed and as such suggested we all went for dinner. It is a huge restaurant, not intimate at all but the staff did their best to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Food was excellent as was the champagne and wines we decided upon. Service was good as well and the whole evening was really great. Will certainly return. One small negative, we went on a Friday evening and the bar upstairs wasn't open or manned. Apparently it wasn't busy enough to open it, but if you are like us and like to have a cocktail or two before dinner rather than at the table, it was a bit disappointing. However, true to form the staff did their best to accommodate us, showed us upstairs to the bar and sent someone up to look after us, which he did very well. Unfortunately no atmosphere as we were the only customers up there but it did turn out to be a very pleasant start to the evening, thank you.

I was taken to Felix to celebrate my birthday. What a brilliant experience. The staff so attentive, the food absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to go back so I have booked for my daughter’s birthday. I can thoroughly recommend Felix.

Food is incredible - the roast I had was lovely! Unfortunately I just felt like the service wasn’t great, we kept getting pushed to order (every 5-10 min) and then at the end when organising the bill was interrupted twice to mention it didn’t include service charge despite me advising I would be adding on service charge, just made me feel a bit uncomfortable

First visit to The Felix, and was very pleased, friendly service and very good food, primarily seafood, which I love, but there is Good for all. My Tiger prawn starter was very good and my main was very good as well. Service was attentive but not fussy, all the staff was polite and all in uniform, well done all. Whilst the food and service are very good at Felix I really think the staff could take a minute and thank the diners for their tip. My receipt and credit card were thrust back at me after paying as if I was a nuisance!! Manners cost nothing

The perfect place for a special occasion. The food is amazing. My beef fillet was cooked to perfection. The staff is courteous but very friendly and we felt right at home. The location is very nice and secluded, and the restaurant interior is very fancy and posh. Perfect evening with the missus.

Me and the family had a lovely meal. The service was brilliant and we were served by Connor who was very attentive and helpful. We had a laugh with him and were very impressed. We will definitely be back soon.

This place is stunning... foods great, but I had the Sunday roast, and it was a mistake. Firstly, it's so big you don't know where to start, and the plates are so small that it makes the pile of food difficult to navigate... now lots of food is good. I'm not complaining about that, BUT it was a huge pile of bland bland and more bland!! It's such a shame. Should have stuck to what they are good at. My advice to the restaurant. Less is more when things taste good!!

Have just gotten back from Sunday lunch at felix Warley. It's our wedding anniversary today and myself and husband were made to feel so special. We had the most amazing, rost lunch the beef was mouth watering. Our waitress who was called India was so attentive, and even brought us both ice cream out with a candle in, to wish us both happy anniversary very sweet. Thankyou so much for a wonderful afternoon. Have been going to this restaurant for a while and always enjoyed it. But the last visit the food & service was far from its normal high standard.

Love this restaurant, such a great vibe and fantastic food.

I’ve lived in Brentwood for 30 years and saw this place being built and I’ve only just got around to going. Why???? The food and service were absolutely excellent and the whole place genuinely exceeded my expectations. Living in this area, we’re too used to blingy, “style over substance” establishments with shiny decor, average food and overpriced Prosecco and lager. Felix is thankfully different. Whilst the food is expensive, it’s of impeccable quality. The service is top notch. The wine and beer choice is broad and very fairly priced. And the decor is quiet and calm, with really good acoustics - you can hear each other talk very easily. We’ll be back again very soon.

Black girl review - I love this restaurant so much. Their lunch deal is amazing and so is the dinner. The waiters are always so friendly. You are greeted with a smile. I can't fault anything. Food - great. Service - great ambience - great. I hope it stays this way.

Not even a bread roll to start A pathetic glass of chlorinated tap water served to start with .lthat was your lot! Friendly service but had to get up and serve wine to my own guests ..poor..albeit staff friendly not sure the service charge reasonable Fresh delivered fish? Certainly not… the crab / prawn starter = lacking taste and obviously pre frozen Main course - pork belly/ scallop..tasty but very overpriced Dauphinoise potatoes = undercooked or just al dente?? Steak rare? No medium ..should be right for price! Skate ..overcooked Tarte tatin tasty but pastry chewy OK …If this was your local ‘Harvester’ ..yes a good meal But at Felix prices clearly paying for the glitzy Towie setting rather than the quality of the cuisine Value for money = one star 🌟 is generous !,
