GREAT DESSERTS- always get birthday cakes from here. the staff is nice and i have never had a problem with how delicious the cakes were. i love how they sell cake slices to be able to taste the cakes or just as a little treat. the cakes are always moist and stay good for days after buying. the one time i had a problem they resolved it very quick and i was so very happy. the staff is friendly. everything is reasonably priced we have been going for year and will definitely be coming back for as long as they’re open!

Truly exceptional food. The salmon frittata is a personal favourite. The staff are friendly and the restaurant has outdoor seating to enjoy as it gets warmer. A real bonus for Walthamstow

It’s worth noting that I’ve only ever been to the original L’Hirondelle, 160 Hoe St. There’s a new one but the owner told me the coffee isn’t as good so I’ve only ever gone to the old one. Very friendly staff, nice decor, best prices I’ve seen in London, tasty coffee.

I had a slice of strawberry gateux cake that was very moreish at L'Hirondelle. It was wonderfully moist and light! Definitely recommend their cakes plus their prices are reasonable too - a drink and a cake was about £3.50

A better location at the top of the market, but the place looks half finished. They seemed to have difficulty making a flat white and two mochas, which were delivered after we had eaten. No custard tarts any more, and the panini I ordered contaned mostly unmelted cheese, but was tasty nonetheless. Will look for other places before returning here to see if it has improved. Complete lack of any Covid precautions.

This place is amazing. They bake all the cakes on the premises and also supply a lot of the other cafes along Hoe St. The coffee is great. The paninis are good and cheaper than anywhere else. The guys running it are really friendly. The North African pastries and biscuits are actually much nicer than the cream cakes in my opinion. The fresh orange juice is good too.

We had coffee and cake here. My cappuccino was nice and strong and good quality coffee. We had one of their homemade almond biscuits too which are amazing quality. Coffee and a delicious biscuit for under £3 so amazing value.

Cakes worth their calories and great coffee made using an old machine that looks like something from the film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

This café has been here for 20 years and I have been coming on occasion for most of that time. The owners are Algerian and they specialise in Algerian sweets and French inspired pastries made on the premises - plus they do sandwiches and excellent coffee. My large white coffee and a piece of top quality homemade baklawa was just £3.

Overpriced. I'm allergic to gluten but gluten free food was 50p extra. I ordered sourdough toast with jam gluten free. It wasn't sourdough. It was tiny pathetic store bought gluten free brown bread. It didn't taste nice and it was cold. Unfortunately I was Too polite to make a fuss and as I know it wasn't our waitresses fault I paid the service charge. I wished I hadn't. I'm actually still hungry. Rubbish business. I hope you're ashamed of the gluten free food you serve.

One of the best breakfast places (if not the best) I’ve been to in London! The flavors are amazing, hitting the right spot. The chef is very skilled, and executed the idea of British twist on Indian food very well. This place is not only food, but also the details: mild music in the background, beautiful tableware, nice garden and friendly staff. Respect to the owner, we will definitely come back.
